Van der Valk Hotel Park Lane Antwerpen

I really really liked my stay here. The hotel was very beautiful and the breakfast was wonderful and so good! The only reason I’m not giving it a 5 star review on the service for the people who worked there, is because when a mistake was done at the evening shift, they weren’t too helpful or apologetic about the mistake. It was fixed up when the morning/dayshift came in. They were very nice, apologetic and helpful. So I would love to come back again.

Breakfast was excellent: wide selection amd fresh. Staff were generally friendly. The room was clean but housekeeping are a whole different story. They need to up the cleaning standard. For example, when making the bed and there are used towels left in the bed, the bed will be made with the towels inside! The housekeeping staff could not communicate with us as they were non-English speaking. We were stayed a whole week.

Large room, nice hotel with a cosy bar and relax area with pools and sauna.

Clean and tidy room, it would have been nice, if not polite for them to inform us that they would be decorating in our corridor. Otherwise great hotel located in a great position
