Iolida Beach Resort Hotel by Smile Hotels

Fantastic hotel, wonderful food and lovely staff. We'd go back in an instant. The photos on the website are realistic. We stayed on the bridge side and preferred it to the beach side. The view when you come out of the restaurant on the beach side is a memory we'll treasure because it sums up everything about holiday. Clean, sandy beach which is shallow for a long way out so ideal for children. The hotel has a library but it's mostly Scandinavian books but a supermarket down the road does sell English paperbacks if you run out of reading material. Bus stop is right on the doorstep for trips to Chania and you must check out the Little Fun Train as it does some very interesting trips (highly recommend the brewery trip!).

The food was extraordinary! A lot of variety, every day there were different themes, the flavor is incredible and many options for all tastes. Mainly at dinner. My congratulations to the chef! He always looked very aware of everything. The breakfast is varied. The snacks on different days there are options of gyro, pizzas and bbq that were incredibly delicious. There are different drink options and the service in Marina and bridge bar is very good. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. I loved the hotel

Great location, Staff were lovely and nice, vegetarian food was not great but there are loads of resturants around within 10mins walk. Beach was lovely. They upgraded us to a suite (sea view) which was absolutely lovely of them to do but it was quite a bit of track to get the room. Would love to go back and would recommend this hotel.
