We Loved the layout of our room.. 1 King bed. Nice sitting area.. the bed was very comfortable.. we had a large group so we really enjoyed the gathering area in the lobby area. Having a well stocked bar was a plus as well. We found it to be very quiet although the place was packed! Overall it was an excellent experience!

Great property. Very clean. The staff was really nice. Breakfast had a lot of variety- probably the best bacon I’ve ever had from a free hotel breakfast and super generous with eggs! Fitness center was small but decent. And free charging for our electric car was the biggest plus! My only complaint was there was no water available but there was coffee, tea, and cookies - so definitely not a deterrent. Will definitely return in the future when we come to visit OSU.

The listing very clearly stated that there were laundry facilities on the premises, including photos of a laundry room. Because there were several legs to my trip, I was depending on that to get through the trip. After I had checked in and gotten my family settled in the room, I went down to the front desk to ask where the laundry was. The front desk attendant told me there was no laundry at the hotel, and mentioned a laundromat down the street that he knew was closed for the day. When I pointed out the listing mentioned laundry, he told me he didn't know what I was talking about. The hotel had never had such a facility (and he implied it never would). I resorted to washing some things in the sink and hanging to dry in the shower. But the bathroom did not have a fan -- which was weird! -- and nothing dried. Still, we made do. Our room was very near the staircase at the end of the building and only on the second floor, so we had taken the stairs each time. On our last day, I ran down to the elevator bay to get some ice for our cooler. Lo and behold, there was a washer and dryer right there, still partially packed in their cardboard boxes. A quick ride up the elevator revealed two more landings with laundry machines, still packed in cardboard and not hooked up. The front desk associate could have very easily told me, "The machines are new! I'm sorry they aren't hooked up yet," but instead, he chose to lie and belittle me.

The person at the desk was very quick, kind and professional. The room is good! It has some wear and tear on the wood work and while the bathroom appeared clean my husband wiped the toilet with a wipe and the wipe was dirty. Other than those things it was pretty clean. The elevator needs updating but honestly over all we'd stay here again!!!

Our room was never cleaned during our stay. We had to ask for towels everyday. When we got there they charged my card 150 bucks for accidents and I haven’t gotten it back yet but when we got to the room the remote was broken the couch cushions were stained and in the floor and there was hair all in the sink and bathtub.

Room 503, 1 King size. Walking into the room we were impressed with the look and layout. Had a nice L shaped couch. I would have gave everything 5 stars but the bed was broke down on one side enough that I felt like I would roll out and the pillows were so loose and soft that they didn't hold their shape at all and squashed to nothing under your head. Then the bathroom, the door barely cleared the toilet and tub opening it. Then once you were in the bathroom there was no room to shut the door without bumping yourself. Water pressure wasn't that great either. Breakfast was nice, warm and plentiful. Staff were very nice. Just the issue with the mattress that needed replaced, pillows that needed replaced with better supportive ones and the bath that needed a larger layout so you could at least shut the door once you were inside.

Could not check in, the night clerk couldn’t complete the check in, after 25 min I left to go to another hotel. It was 1:00am and I couldn’t wait anymore. Clerk was visibly upset and confused, maybe had a bad day, but became very rude when i told him not to bother and I’d be on my way.

The room was not the cleanest. The lighting was terrible (I am sensitive to bright white especially if it flickers and can get a migraine - the lights in the room were both). The pillows in the bed were small square pillows that were not comfortable, especially if you move around at all or like to snuggle pillows. I waited for a good 15 minutes before someone came to check me in. Absolutely no one could be found who worked there. Will not be back.

Let me share my story about this place: I only stayed for one night. When I checked in, the desk clerk was nice, but he didn’t have me fill out a vehicle identification form, which I was thought was strange, but this will be important later. My room was fine and I had all the things I needed. My room ended up being next to the elevator, and that thing was loud and annoying, but you couldn’t hear it if the TV was on at least. The next morning, before I checked out, I got breakfast and chilled out. Breakfast was great, the staff was charming, until the fire alarm went off at 8am for no reason. I checked out, and the check was seamless and no one had said anything unusual. Which I thought was awful because when I returned to my vehicle, it was vandalized and stolen from. Both rear windows and my passenger window smashed completely in. Another guest staying filled me in that everyone in the lot that night had their vehicles broken into, and when police had came to investigate, no one could figure out who my vehicle belonged to so everyone got to file a police report in the moment except me. I went to the front desk asking for help for who to call and what to do, and they were very rude and distant about it. I’d say flippant, but they didn’t have any urgency or concern. I made a comment to the hotel manager about them not having signage about not being liable for property damage in the lot like most hotels do. All in all, not a safe area and I don’t recommended it.

Our truck window got smashed and completely ripped out. Our whole passenger side was covered in ice and glass over night ruining the leather. The GM Ryan did not help at all, all auto shops were booked for the whole weekend because break ins happen daily yet the hotel never told us when we checked in. We had no choice but to leave because our truck would’ve been broken into again and we’d be out another $1000. Definitely will not ever be back since we didn’t even get a refund for our 4 nights booked when we only stayed 1. Horrible horrible horrible customer service

One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. Not because anything was over-the-top, but because all the necessities were perfect. Room was spacious and clean, mattress was surprisingly comfortable, towels were the softest we’ve ever had, breakfast was delicious (orange juice tasted like orange juice!), parking was easy and sufficient, and all the employees we came in contact with were friendly. Just traveling through and one night stop. Clean, simple checkin. Loved the spacious king room with sitting area. Used fitness room. Treadmills were nice. Breakfast was very bland even though they had all the usual choices. Pancakes and vanilla yogurt were the only things I liked. Oatmeal looked good though with all fixings. Tazo tea was good. I guess I wonder why would hotel bother having tasteless food. Waste. But everything else was perfect and definitely come back again.

We typically prefer to stay at Hyatt Place hotels and have been very pleased with our stays including two other Columbus, Ohio locations. However we weren't as impressed with this location. We found both the sheet and duvet in our room to have holes. Although breakfast is served weekdays until 9:00, we found most offerings to be empty or close to empty at 8:25. The eggs and pancakes were not just cool, but rather cold, the sausage was hard, there were only two slices of bread in the bread box, and the half and half creamer was empty. In the afternoon we noticed considerable noise from housekeeping our hallway. The staff was very congenial, but after checking out we wondered why there was a marked difference in the quality of this stay versus other locations.

Location didn’t feel the greatest being next to lower attracted sites. Tv not being in the center is not the best. Breakfast was very mediocre-looks like they spend their most budget on the plates and cups. Just use paper plates and more breakfast options. Breakfast stopping at 9:30 is also a short time.
