Super convenient for convention center activities. Nearly everything was within walking distance - restaurants, social activities and parking.

I stayed on the loft side. Sadly the room above me never slept and the occupants paced the floors all night. The floors wooden and old, they squeak when someone walks on them. I slept less than two hours because of the constant noise from the squeaking floors. The hotel was clean inside, outside was under remodel with dumpsters and debris on the ground. The rooms were dated and the led lighting was cold and not bright enough to see by. The bathroom was spotless and the shower pressure was great.

Front desk staff was so friendly even though it was definitely a busy night. The restaurant on site did a great job with a huge onslaught of people at 11pm after a concert. The loft suites are huge and beautiful. I hope we can stay there again soon!

From the moment I arrived at the Sonesta, the front desk staff and hotel employees were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. They were quick to respond to the few requests I had, If you’re planning to stay at the Sonesta downtown location, I highly recommend requesting one of the “loft rooms” overlooking Nationwide Boulevard. These rooms are incredibly spacious and feature a stylish industrial, urban design. The building was originally a boutique hotel before becoming part of the Sonesta brand, and I’m so glad they preserved its unique character. The Lofts have the charm and ambiance of a New York City making for a memorable and a distinctive hotel experience.
