This hotel was very clean and our room was very spacious. They had a really nice breakfast selection in the morning. And the pool was nice. It does mention that they have laundry, but we asked and she said there is no laundry. Also, they only clean the rooms every other day which we were unaware of. Walkable to the German village, which had a lot of beautiful homes and some restaurants and pastry shops and a really nice bookstore. I would stay here again.

Hotel itself was ok, but listed as having a laundry area and it did not and was one the reasons I picked the hotel along with free breakfast. We do travel ball and needed to wash uniforms and then the last day we left at 7 and still no breakfast when it was suppose to be open at 630. The drain in the bathroom sink was stuck

There is VERY limited parking, they reserve a lot of spaces for their diamond customers (which are sheltered from rain and hail), based on the requisites for the status and the area, it’s unlikely someone in that customer base is onsite, but nonetheless they’re wasted. If you’re not at the hotel by 5:00 PM, forget about parking onsite. I had to park my car either on a shady street with limited illumination or, some businesses down the street they let you park next to a paint store, this is away from the hotel, does not have line of site and access is not controlled, parking one early night I got approached by some people clearly under the influence of hard drugs asking for money.

Three close and scary gunshots at 2:15 am. There were several stains on the floor from what looked like spills, pizza sauce looking stain on desk chair, stains and shoe prints on the bathroom tile. Housekeeping said they were previous party damage but still…rent a carpet cleaner. It felt very unsanitary. In the lobby, the sofa had “fall sweet fall” orange pillows ..it’s only June!! Just appeared to be not well maintained or managed.

The hallways and walkways were DIRTY! So gross. The room was dirty as well. Smears of stuff on the bathroom walls. The toilet tank lid was broken and glued. The rug had holes in it. The box spring had a plastic bag over it, like it was hiding bed bugs. So creepy

I was not impressed with this place even just at arrival they didnt have someone at the front desk and said please be seated someone will be with you shortly. When i finally got in the room they gave me it was dirty musky smell in the room and the bed sheets had some stains. Asked for a different room and they gave me something else but still hardly any difference in the room. Decided to cancel my stay and choose somewhere else the reviews may look promising on here but they are aful about cleaning this place.

We came for a spur of the moment trip to see Columbus. I hadn’t been to the Zoo in a while. The hotel was great. The bed was very comfortable. The room was large for the two of us. The shower had great water pressure. The breakfast was very good. It was very quiet.

The property didn’t look like a Holiday Inn Express from The outside, once you walked inside the lobby was clean, but everything about this property just said OLD and VERY DATED! Staff is very friendly. Hotel has a great location. Not too far from downtown but far enough to avoid a lot of congestion. Room was nice. Only issue, closet door was hard to slide. I had a poolside room, loved being able to open the door to the outside seating.

Zero communication. Had to cancel 2 rooms b/c airplane brokedown. Was told I could get a refund for 2nd night (1st night no b/c they need 24 hours, which I understood). They said their system was down. I get home, not only did they not refund, they have a mystery charge on my credit card (paid thru Expedia) and they don't answer their phones. Now I have to fight and dispute. This deception is unacceptable. Will never stay at Holiday Inn again.

It is probably the worst service I have ever received at a hotel. My tv remote control did not work. My stay was for 4 nights. I requested daily to have the remote fixed. I seriously must have asked a minimum of 7 times to resolve this issue, and it seemed like an ongoing joke. No one ever came to my room to fix it. The receptionist would jot down my room number on a post-it note every time I asked to get this resolved, but alas, nothing happened.

So very concerning that the front desk gave us keys to a room that someone else was in. Wh E arrived late and were told we had to wait until they did a nightly audit at 3:00 am . It was around 12:30am when we arrived. Unacceptable so we left and did not stay.i wrote and requested a refund. The place was in a very bad part of town also

We booked a room a week in advance, received a message a few days before welcoming us and then after we drove 4.5 hours and they called 20 minutes before we arrived and said they overbooked and would have to cancel leaving us without a room. Then not only did we have to scramble to find an available room in the city, they had the audacity to charge my card too after cancelling us.

Terrible customer service. I arrived late at night with my family after a long flight. The person at the front desk would not let me check in, because they had a billing problem with hotels.com. They asked me to sit in the lobby from 1:00 AM until 7 AM, so that they could sort it out. I was there with a two year old. In the end, the problem was with the hotel, who was trying to charge Hotels.com more than the rate they agreed to, which is why their charge was being denied. I had to resolve the problem by calling Hotels.com. While I was holding for customer service, the person at the front desk kept disappearing into the basement to get chips to restock the snacks for sale, which felt unimportant at 2:00 AM, so that every time the Hotels.com agent came back on the line or tried to call the hotel, nobody was available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lady at the desk was so professional and so friendly. We loved being able to walk to German village. We had a lovely dinner. The pool is very nice. It’s right on high Street, which is a busy street, but that’s just fine. We appreciated the very good ground coffee machine in the lobby.

Breakfast items had dwindled and were not refilled by the time we went to the breakfast area (9 am) so some choices were slim or empty. Extremely close/easy walking access to German Village, Book Loft, and Cento. Not a super great area but it borders on one and this property is definitely trying. Would stay again!

Since our stay was for only one night as we passed through Columbus, our stay was OK. There was limited parking since this is a downtown location and the surrounding neighborhood was sketchy. But my car was not tampered with. There were a few minor repairs that needed to be made in our room, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The lobby and the breakfast areas were very clean and overall excellent. The breakfast food was very good.

Stay was average, not great for the price. probably would not book here again. The room itself was located right next to the hotel elevator and it was dinging open and closed all through the night. The door had a large gap also. The shower was dirty with mold and the breakfast was cold and half cooked. The parking on property was limited. They also charge you an extra $100 for “incidentals” which is yet to be refunded to my card and not posted anywhere in the booking information.
