We rented this room thinking that this hotel had an active pool, but they didn’t would recommend checking for an actual hotel that has a pool. This one has one, but they don’t use it.

It was just OK, the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The pool was smaller than it appeared. The hotel is in need of a facelift. It’s in a busy part of town and seemed a little “sketchy”. The breakfast is quite pitiful. Go across the road to McDonalds or the Waffle House if you want more than a muffin and some coffee.

the pool was out of service, they tried to bill my debit card for my stay even though i had paid with a hotel.com gift card. they did give me a refund but it put a hold on my card for two days. bed was lumpy. there was a police incident the first night i was there. it wasn't very clean. good location. not going back.

The room it’s self was GREAT. However when we arrived on Friday the pool was closed for chemical testing. We asked if it would be open and she said yes Saturday (we were going to find a new hotel so we could swim). So Saturday we got up so our activities. I called the hotel to see if the pool was open they said yes. We went back to swim only to find out out it was closed. Their reason was “they are painting” however no one was in there doing anything. The breakfast was horrible you had choice of a bagel or cereal and coffee. The choice didn’t work and not even water. I guess my biggest problem was they lied about the pool.

The hotel's website was inaccurate, and we were disappointed by the actual experience. The room was incredibly dirty, with dust and grime everywhere. The bedsheets had stains, the bed had blood stains and what looked to be vomit or poop. I immediately walked out and returned to the front desk to cancel my reservation and demand a refund. I took pictures of everything and was told I could get a refund because I booked through Expedia they would be responsible for issuing me a refund. I reached out to Expedia and was told the property would not issue me a refund. Beware of this place!!!!! Do not stay here place is disgusting!!!!

The pictures I saw online are NOT what this place is. I don't know how it had a 7+ rating. The staff was very nice and pleasant, but the place overall could have been WAAAAAAAY cleaner. As soon as we got into the room, my boys killed a bug on the floor- I was not sure if it was a bed bug or roach or what. I ended up finding another bug in the bathroom the next day. The trash cans still had stuff in it from the previous stay. There was hair and dirt, and the floorboards looked wet or sticky where a bunch of stuff was stuck to it. We made sure to always wear socks instead of bare feet. The elevator had this musty dank smell. The carpets all over the place had a musty/funky/dank smell. The fridge and freezer were not cold at all and the fridge had some kind of mildew or mold in it. We did not use it at all. The vent in the bathroom did not work, at least not well. The room had a musty smell. I think ALL of the ventilation filters need to be replaced. The TV has barely any channels and the volume barely worked and was muffled. The pillows and bed overall was comfortable. The breakfast was basic- fruit, yogurt, bagels and cereal. We went elsewhere. We did not even bother trying out the pool. This was a last minute trip that I booked that morning and my kids and I did not even get in until almost 11pm, so it was not like I could cancel and find another place.

My only complaint was the blood stained bedding (like numerous areas all over the mattress cover) which should NEVER EVER EVER happen. So gross I had to go to Walmart and buy my own bedding because at that point I wouldn’t trust anything else you brought me. That should’ve been thrown away. I’ll never stay at a Red Roof again.

The first thing I did upon opening the door to our room was kill a roach. Killed another one later in the bathroom. There was a cigarette burn on the bed cover of our non-smoking room, as well as two different stains. Don't know if they were stains or it was just dirty. Big wad of hair in the middle of bathroom floor. Pretty gross overall... First, and LAST time I'll ever stay at a Red Roof Inn. Needless to say, we didn't eat the free breakfast.

Overall fair. Room phone YUK !! Washed clothes ... Dryer very HOT ... but clothes Not Dry... Hung clothes around room... Front desk asked if i wanted them to put in dryer up front... It was okay, mediocre at best. Breakfast was sad and not restocked regularly. Could hear other hotel goers slam their doors at night. Several plugs and lights didnt work. But staff was polite and courteous. Bed was hard but the sheets were nice and clean. No clock in the room but it got very dark with the black put curtains which is excellent. AC worked super well. 3 out of 5 stars.

Oh dear. I’d say the 7.2 this hotel has at the moment is agreeable, or maybe a little lower would fit better It’s definitely an older joint for sure, but it’s in a pretty decent location. The front desk people were fantastic as well! Super nice. Upon first inspection, bedding has holes and old stains that look like they’ve been washed out several times but with no bleach. No big deal, really. I’m only here for a day. The towels also had holes in them. Inconvenient but… okay. The remote didn’t work, so I had to get the batteries replaced. Oh well.. then on return to my room, the door won’t unlock even when it’s green lighting my card. I go downstairs, starting to panic because I thought I somehow deadbolted my door when I shut it. No… the door doesn’t unlock when the handle is pushed down. Oh boy. At least I know, and I get back in. Pretty good spot with easy access to different fast food joints. That was really neat. Canes is across the street, and McDonald’s another 100 feet away, if even that. Plus other joints I didn’t look at. On return, I turn off the AC because the unit is just caked with dirt and dead bugs and who knows what else. I’m not super crunchy, but I don’t have any interest in that blowing through the air. Now that the fan is off, there’s a pretty distinct smell.. of dog urine. Of all things. RIGHT between the two beds, in front of the table. Oh. And the fridge didn’t work. I brought a cooler for my trip so it was whatever..

Non smoking room that reeked of cigarettes, sheets were damp and toilet paper was left half used from the last people. Had to leave a $100 deposit for buying through third party and then front desk had no form showing to return the deposit until we asked.

Upon arrival the front desk was out front having a smoke, asked if I had a reservation and to just hold on. I stood at the desk for awhile so she could continue to finish her smoke:/ The cable was out so no TV. We were up very early yet the “breakfast” options were two yogurts, a few packaged mini muffins, 3 bagels. No fruit or any other offering. I stopped at the front desk, could hear someone just around the wall. I tapped on the counter a hello but no one ever came.

We were words the end of a 3500 mile rod trip and had car trouble making us late tired and stressed. The hotel clerk was very friendly and made all the difference in our attitude Amazing how one person can changed a bad day to a wonderful day.

Hotel is fine for a quick nights stay. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. Surrounding area has tons of restaurants and easy on/off highway. Price was cheap. Some not-so-safe looking teenage guests were hanging in lobby.

This hotel was in a good location for the visits I did on the Columbus west side. I wouldn't describe it as exceptional but it was adequate. The free breakfast was entirely forgettable and the last day I ate breakfast at a nearby restaurant. There were restaurants within walking distance of the hotel which was a benefit. I enjoyed dinner at a Roosters that was walking distance from the hotel.

They didn’t tell us what time breakfast was so we missed it. And there was no coffee. It was an OK stay we were just tired and we just needed a place to sleep, but couldn’t the pool was closed. Somewhat disappointing. We didn’t get a good nights sleep. It wasn’t worth the price.

Great staff. Lady at the front was very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was slim pickings. Muffin, Apple or banana, yogurt, or bagel. The biggest thing for me was the smell. It made me think that the room I was in used to be a smoking room even though there are signs that say no smoking. It was not a great smell and made me not want to be in my room. The lobby smells fine but as soon as you get in the elevator it hits you. On a positive note, there's a Canes in walking distance that is very good.

Our room was fine, and clean enough. Pool water was murky, so we decided not to use it. Breakfast was very limited with nothing hot. Many unsupervised kids running around throughout our stay.
