it was a nice hotel. A few things, outlets on patio don't work. The elevator doesn't start on the first floor so people were carrying the luggage carts down 3-5 stairs. It was weird.

We got a room that had a window "facing" the pool. I put facing in quotes because our room window had privacy film on it. The room was comfortable. But with us being right beside the pool it came with a heavy chlorine smell. Id recommend asking for a room not facing the pool. Id still recommend the hotel, just not that room

The pool was grossly misrepresented in photos and freezing cold. The hot tub was disgusting with yellow foam bubbles and stains on the walls and surrounding concrete floor.

The room smelled like mildew. The whole wing did actually. It was dark. I couldn’t open a window. The bed was hard as hell. Something was making the room hot. I had the heat off and the room still got over 80. The parking can’t be charged to the room. Spent $300 on a cramped dark room and had to pay even more for a mediocre “continental” breakfast. The staff were nice. The location was convenient. But i will never ever stay there again. I feel like i deserve some money back. Not up to the standard im used to at that price point.

The room wasn’t clean; it still had the previous guest belongings in there,there was ice still in the ice bucket and the drinking glasses weren’t clean. Reached out to the front desk person that day and they stated maybe the cleaning staff missed it? Lastly they only offer Valet at $35 bucks a day. Wouldn’t recommend!!

Our room smelled very musty. The refrigerator was kept in a closed cabinet. When we opened the cabinet door to get to the fridge, the amount of heat that poured out was significant. Thinking this was the source of the musty odor and also a safety issue. Also, when booking online, they claim parking is available. The only parking available offered by the hotel was vallet at $35 for overnight parking. I was told I could go find a parking garage in town somewhere. Walls are very thin. Could hear neighbor opening the drapes, and the stairwell doors slamming shut echoed down the hallways throughout the night.

A bit dingy in common areas — rooms were fine but also a bit shabby. Comfy beds, small bathroom. The service was fabulous all over the hotel. Very friendly and helpful. Rate was overpriced for the property condition and location.

The room was very big and the beds were comfortable. The AC worked great! They even gave you the options on the TV to log into Netflix Amazon prime and YouTube. We were there for a comedy show at the Nationwide arena and we walked there because it was so close. The staff was friendly and the valet was simple and easy to use.

Everything was great. Very accessible to many places. My one critique involves the WiFi. I made an account just to have WiFi, and when I went to use it, it didn’t recognize my room number and last name. So I’ve had to use my data since yesterday.

The hotel itself is very nice and I especially appreciate a clean room, which ours was. However, avoid room 111 at all costs unless you really like NOISE! It’s tucked away in a little corner and the room is very spacious- the largest hotel room I’ve stayed in. BUT, it’s street level on a corner, so there was a tremendous amount of traffic noise, pedestrians yelling, and construction noise all hours. Add to that the AC/heater is very loud, the marble lobby echoed all the voices, and the handicap/luggage lift was right next to our room’s door. Additionally, though the room was large and nicely decorated, the mattresses were truly terrible and I’m pretty sure my sock drawer is bigger than the bathroom. The door missed the edge of the toilet by a half inch. I understand the hotel has no control over traffic and pedestrian noise, so perhaps a different room would have been better, but we only stayed a weekend. I also was a bit surprised by the valet only parking. I wasn’t expecting that additional cost. The staff was very helpful and kind however , especially our waitress/cook at The Bistro downstairs. All in all, I’d give the hotel an 8 out of 10, but our particular room a five.

If I'd known only valet parking was offered I would have found another hotel, was $37 to park overnight also the ac/heating unit in the wall was directly adjacent to my pillow which kicked on and off continually from a drafty window beside it...Room was street side where a sheet of metal was covering a hole from some type of road construction and very noisy when a vehicle would pass over it

The WiFi was horrible. Not just poor service to our digital devices, at times even the television didn't have a signal. Beyond that little annoyance, our stay was perfect in every way. Kind curtious staff. Clean. Valet parking was efficient and professional. Would stay again.

The building itself is old but pretty and well kept however the beds and the pillows are extremely uncomfortable and with a four night stay it was not ideal. Otherwise room was clean but had a lot of old things such as tvs and alarm clocks. For sure needs an update.

This ranks on the bottom of my hotel stay. Starters, the very nice woman at the counter was having issues with the check in process. Was asking for card on reservation that was already paid for. Paid extra 10.00 for breakfast, and was told I need a cupon, was not sent a cupon, nor was it mentioned. The A/C unit in this room, was louder than the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Overall the bed and the pillow were comfortable. Lets move on the the valet service. Wasnt sure i was going to get my car back. Info was written down on a post ot note, and a 3x5 note card. Texted for car in the morning, and they asked me what i was driving. I did get my car.

I booked a room with two queens. Show up to check in and she says they have none available and only have doubles. I spoke to a customer service person through Hotels and all they could do was give us a coupon for breakfast (we won’t use) and a $25 credit. If I wanted double beds, I would have booked that. Disappointed in this hotel. We also had a room with a very leaky AC unit and there was water all over the floor and got on our bags and things. They did give us a new room to remedy the situation.

The kitchen staff all the way around was understaffed, very nice people just not enough of them. Front desk staff mostly OK except the manager or at least I believe was a manager just a wee bit on the rude side. She told me there was a $35 charge for valet parking. No other option was available from them, when I checked out the next day the girl who is very pleasant at the front desk and told me know the valet parking was included in my hotel room, and she issued me a credit, however the credit made it to my statement. Currently in dispute. Won’t stay there again.

We arrived and there was the expected line for valet service. I appreciated it was an option at this location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved the free coffee for guests in the lobby. Our room was clean. Perhaps it was our room location, we could hear several conversations and activity in our room from other guests and the hallway. It was a bit different, however we were able to ignore and enjoy our stay

Don't usually do a review but felt it was worth it so maybe a few things could be addressed...we stayed in the handicap room which was fine but if I had been handicap it would have been very hard to manage. First off - Customer service was poor except for the gentleman that worked on Thursday during the day and valet was even worse. For $35.00 per day plus a tip I would think a lady might get a little help putting luggage in the car. That was not the case. The room itself was very poorly lit. The bathroom faucet either leaked in the back of the faucet or if you turned it up more you had the potential of getting extremely wet b/c it shot out far enough to completely drench you. This happened to me twice and my daughter once. It was difficult getting the faucet just right.

The facility was clean, quiet, and provided a much-needed sense of comfort. Their kindness and professionalism made a stressful situation far more manageable. Clean and comfortable hotel, great staff, you do have to go through valet parking, but there is so much within walking distance, you probably won’t even need your vehicle. The hotel is only a couple blocks away from Nationwide Arena, so if you’re attending an event there, this is the place to stay!

Close to Nationwide Arena and several restaurants and bars. Old hotel but upkeep has been tastefully done. Gym has nice cardio equipment and enough weights to get the job done. Would stay here again.

This property was super close to the convention center in walking distance in fact. Staff was super freindly and accomadating and very helpful only thing is valet costs $35 per day but was fairly quick retrieving your vehicle. Just had one issue at night with a huge team check in rush it made for a long wait to get parked.

Just be aware there is Valet Parking only. You get as many in and out privileges for the one daily rate. It was extremely quiet in the downtown when we were there, it was two days before Christmas until Christmas Eve. Went for a hockey game at so the Hotel is a great location for that, a 10 minute walk to the arena at most. The only thing that isn't in the room is a safe. Would definitely recommend this spot.

This was a great place to stay! The cafe surprisingly had great breakfast choices. It’s in a great area where you can walk for 5-7 mins for food. Great location if you’ve got something at the convention center

Great location just a short walking distance to the convention center. I saved a few dollars by finding a parking structure two blocks away. They have a bar/serving counter in the basement for breakfast and dinner. The flatbread was excellent and they have some beers down there too.

OK place for one night during the weekend. However, the hotel is in the central business district, and is surrounded by office buildings and parking lots — very few restaurants. It would be fine for a business trip, but for a weekend trip I would stay closer to Short North.

That 'restaurant' was a joke. $6.49 for a small bottle of cranberry juice? I could buy several full sized bottles for that. The other prices were just as ridiculous. There are too many good restaurants within a few blocks to waste money on that place. The hot chocolate in the lobby after a day of walking back and forth to the Arena in the rain was really nice - when it was there. Half the time, it wasn't. Room was nice. Fitness center, too. Pool was a weird shape and hard to swim in and hot tub was full of foam - it needed cleaned. Staff was nice.

The experience didn't meet the description. Parking wasn't a good experience. The hotel was very noisy. And the "full" breakfast description was a joke. A Starbucks item from the most unfriendly workers. Definitely not worth the money to stay here.

Very very clean, and very nice staff. Parking isn’t as bad as reviews made it to be, there are several public places to park in very very short walks. Only downside really was the extremely limited hours of the bistro!
