The room was spacious and the bathroom was up to date. The bar area and restaurant was very nice. It took longer than expected to get our food and our check from the waitress in the bar area. There was enough staff but I feel like there was no one helping her.

No pool. Restaurants and amenities close by 10 PM limiting late night eating. Room service does not deliver between 11 and 3 PM making it inconvenient for anyone who would like to dine in their room for lunch. The valet service was very pushy and did not explain the parking situation. Valet was very expensive and took over 30 minutes to retrieve my car when I needed to leave! The parking structure, not being adjacent to the hotel is another problem. Although there are a series of bridges to take you to the parking structure, as a woman, I do not feel safe, walking the structures by myself.

The lobby is nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was really soft and comfortable. The elevators had long lines at times and took long to arrive but it could have been because the hotel was filled with cheerleaders for a cheerleader competition that was in town. The front desk staff was nice and friendly.

Bar on 2 had horrible service. 1 waitress for 15 tables and manger there looking on and doing nothing to help. Waitress was more interested in talking to co-workers than actually serving guests

The front desk is phenomenal. They represent a gold standard in customer service. The folks who work in the Market Cafe are also terrific, very professional and the buffet was great, along with the service. It's very hard to get a taxi here, however and that's problematic.

$40 for Valet Parking implies at least reasonable service and this was not the case. Cars were lined up down the driveway and about 8 deep onto the road on the way in. This was about a 25 minute wait. The claim check has QR code instructions that test your ticket number to the valet desk...but the message back says "we are too busy, come present the ticket in person". When I did so agent said "10-15 minutes"- it was actually 25 minutes. Everything else was fine, but the first and last impressions were awful.

There was no shower curtain and no trash bags in the garbage cans, Although an associate did bring us what we needed. The room was dusty and the position of the shower head was weird. It was shoved in the corner and not centered. That wasn’t a big deal just weird. The restaurant was closed when it should have been open per the hrs of operation so we had to go across the street to the other hotel. There was absolutely nothing around to buy food without having to drive. The parking was crazy . It was around 2 corners in a garage that all the hotels use and I didn’t anticipate walking as far as we had to and pay 22 bucks and valet was 40.

The front entry had a lot of trash laying around and one of the many people working cold have kept it much cleaner. We used valet for the car and no one asked to help with our bags. Front desk took about 15 seconds to check us in with no eye contact or friendly greeting. I've stayed at many Hyatts over the world and this one was not up to par.

Mattress was way too firm and the pillows were like pancakes. The sheets and pillow cases felt like they had starch on them. Beautiful room and view but the bed was awful and that's the primary concern. Rooms not very sound proof either and you could hear neighboring room doors opening and closing at all hours. You could hear toilets flushing as well. Certainly don't feel as I got my money's worth.

We likes the ease of checking in. Our shower is the biggest complaint. We are 6’ and found the shower completely unusable with terrible water pressure. Also I did not have a vanity but a small sink which made applying makeup difficult

We have stayed here several times. It's a great location downtown. HOWEVER, this time we could hear every word spoken in the room next to us. Eitjer the walls were too thin or the vents between the rooms was open.

I stayed here for a couple of days to attend a conference. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at every opportunity. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Everything you could possibly need is conveniently located on the lobby level, including a Starbucks, grocery shops, and even a card store for enthusiasts.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the Nationwide Arena and it was less expensive than the two surrounding hotels. However, parking a block over and walking through the tunnels was very inconvenient and time consuming. Also, we called down to the front desk 30 minutes before check out for a luggage rack to be brought up. No one came. Called again 10 minutes before check out. And still no one. So my daughter and I dragged all out luggage down from the 20th floor ourselves. When we got down to the lobby, the luggage carriers were all there waiting for work to do and no one knew we called down. It was very frustrating and caused us to not only be late for check out but also forced us to leave the hotel 45 minutes later than we wanted to.

I always stay here when I go to see TSO in Columbus. It is very convenient to the arena and the nicest place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, which is a bonus when I travel alone. I recommend this hotel as the best place I have had the pleasure to stay in.

Hotel very busy. Room not ready for more than 40 minutes after check in time. Front desk advised hotel over booked and they had to cancel some people’s reservations. 😱 So, I guess we were lucky to just have a delay!

Stayed at this hotel for a concert last weekend and it was a 4-5 min walk to arena, super convenient. Room was also clean and spacious. Staff brought us toothpaste as I forgot mine at home with no problem. Would stay here again!

The Hyatt Regency is a nice hotel in what appears to be a safe neighborhood. We did not worry about walking around the hotel and to the arena. The walk to the parking lot is long and could be cumbersome for someone with lung problems or walking issues.
