All parking is Valet only. We were charged $20 every time we parked and an additional $35 for overnight parking. Over $100 just for parking! There are no parking lots nearby to park in. In the past we stayed and paid $20 for parking for our whole stay of 4 nights.

Liked the propeety was walking distance to Knoxville convention center, Did not like only parking is valet for $35 per day. Street parking is available if you want to walk up the street to park. There is a parking garage across street, definitely ask about it when checking in may save you some money.

The hotel itself is very clean and nice. The beds were very comfortable as well. The only downside is the construction taking place right beside the hotel. It made it a little difficult to get out of the already tight driveway. That being said, I would stay again. Just watch out for the valet parking fee. There is no other parking except the valet and during busy times, they raise the rate drastically! It’s already set at $35 a night and can be $50 on busy days.

The property isn’t nearly as nice as it was a couple years ago and the staff needs some additional training. The hallway wasn’t vacuumed in the 3 days we were there despite obvious piles of crumbs. The bath needed to be re-caulked and deep cleaned. The room itself and the bed were fine, and the exercise room was nicely equipped. The front desk staff was condescending and wouldn’t answer questions about parking and the facilities directly. The valet would sit reading his phone when you drove up (there’s no real alternative to the valet and it’s outrageously $35 per night). We were really disappointed and will look for a different place next time we visit Knoxville.

The property is great and the staff and very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and it was a short walk to the convention center. The only thing I did not like and didn’t realize before hand is the parking at the property is valet only, which was an extra $35 a day.

The stay was great the front desk was wonderful very helpful and get us set very quickly. However there was a big stain on the floor and a ball of hair. Looked like the floors of the room had not been vacuumed. Very thing else looked great. Valet parking was excellent he was very polite and helpful. Excellent service.

Cumberland House Knoxville was a nice spot for our overnight. Lobby appeared very clean and welcoming. Rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable, room could have been cleaned better (food wrappers in garbage can, tags from clothing on floor, stains on rug). Carpet needs a good cleaning as it has a few very visible stains. Bathroom was pretty clean, shower pressure was excellent, broken tile in shower should be fixed, bathroom door had loud squeak (in need of wd40!). Food/drinks in restaurant was good. Bar area very nice! Overall, very nice hotel! Would stay again!

The breakfast was NOT free and was limited in options. The bar did not have a liquor license. The staff was very limited and the cost of valet was very expensive. The rooms were small and there were dogs allowed on all floors of the hotel. There was construction on the side of the hotel with work beginning at 6 am so it was not a pleasant stay. The construction should have been disclosed before I made a reservaction.

Nice staff, clean and beautiful hotel. We stayed in a balcony room and liked the layout and view. Pillows and bedding were soft and clean. Mattress was a little too firm for my taste but not horrible. The only downfall was the noise. There is construction being done outside and I think too close to the elevator? I would stay again further from the elevator and when the construction is completed.

Cumberland House is a gem right in the heart of downtown Knoxville. The hotel has a stylish, modern vibe and the room layout was both functional and inviting. I especially loved the balcony with beautiful views of the Sunsphere and World’s Fair Park—perfect for a morning coffee or evening unwind. I will start with that the hotel is in a great location to the UT campus, the room was clean, and the lobby is cute. Other than this, the stay is not worth the price. We were here one night from moving my child into dorm and got in late. We found out the TV kept cutting in and out so you can't even watch it. It was 11pm so we thought, just one night. We then noticed the next morning, the coffee maker doesn't work and the phone to call the lobby doesn't work. Called from my cell phone to let the desk know and was told I should have known last night and called when an engineer was there. What?? We didn't know the coffee maker or phone wasn't working until now. Save your $$, parking is not included ( additional $35 a night), breakfast not included, and in our case the TV, coffee maker, and phone didn't work. The worst part is there was no offer to send someone up to fix it and they would just take care of it when we leave. Our check out time is still 5 hrs away.

Everyone was super helpful and nice. The valets took extra care of my vehicle. They were helpful in giving info about the area. The front desk people were genuinely friendly. The only downside was one of the lamps on the right side of the bed didn’t work. I normally sleep on that side. Bed was large. It was comfortable. I had a great view of Neyland Stadium and the campus. I’d stay here again. Wish they had soda and snack machines. The gift shop had coke products only.

This is a great hotel! Conveniently located. The hotel decor is very nice. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a suite with a balcony. The water pressure in the shower is amazing! The walls are a bit thin if you are a light sleeper.

However they are doing construction on hotel or building next-door and they started at 6 AM Saturday morning. Our room was on the back corner of the building so we heard everything And very difficult to sleep.

I became ill during my stay at the Cumberland House. I was up most of the night/morning . I requested a late check out, which I was granted. They went as far as to extend it longer until I was able to get myself together. Ana and Paula was pleasant and considerate to my plights. The management showed compassion during my misfortune. The front desk was fast and efficient changing out a malfunctioning mini fridge. Maintenance went above and beyond for me. Which FYI I was a Basic Hilton Honors .

I've stayed at this location previously and due to its proximity to the convention center and general vibe, was excited to stay again. However, upon arrival we were told that they've changed to a valet only parking arrangement, and that they charge an additional $100 for the required service. Additionally, the hotel is generally nice, but the staff could use some re-education on dealing with guests. Not being from the area, we asked about recommendations to eat nearby and got a shrug and don't know from the front desk. Again, nice place and convenient to the convention center, but as there are other options w/in the area, might investigate them next time.

Room was spotless, staff was great, location is perfect, and my requests were accomadated without question. This hotel is fantastic, very cool inside and out, and right across the street from the Worlds Fair Park & Downtown Knoxville. Our room with the Balcony was Perfect, couldn't ask for a better nighjt view or Sunrise over the river anywhere! Walked anywhere we needed to go and access to Campus, South & West Knoxville were very easy & within a few minutes drive. We'll definitely stay again next trip.

Very nice hotel. The front desk asked us daily about our stay. Rooms are clean. The restaurant is nice - they have great expresso drinks. Great location and I love that it’s dog friendly. Only bummer is the $45 a day parking.

This hotel has a textile theme and it's carried out in every detail. The bartenders were so helpful in telling us what to try. We ended up having dinner at the hotel and it was amazing! Will definitely stay here again if in the area.
