Mostly everything was okay. It seems the bathroom may have been a rushed cleaning job, there was still hair in the sink and shower. One of the queen mattresses were so worn out, it felt like my husband and I were sinking into the middle of the mattress. Also, for a hotel to have any type of satellite cable tv, is probably not a good idea. Of course we were there while strong winds and rains, interrupted the tv. The staff was friendly, no trouble checking in/out.

The hotel was fine; however, we were unaware that there was construction going on at the time of our stay. Our room was dusty, the construction began at 8am and was incredibly loud right outside our room. There was super loud construction in the room below us as well. One of our guests has asthma so this caused an asthma attack. The hotel itself was fine, and the breakfast was one of the best complementary hotel breakfasts that I've had. But the construction did ruin part of the visit.

Good location and lobby is nice along with the room layout, but the cleanliness lacked for us. There was dog hair in the room and got on our luggage and clothes. That’s just gross and totally needs cleaned better.

The is the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. The basement level smelled. The furniture is very dated and old. And we have to move rooms because of ants. The second room we also saw ants. Very disappointed and was not worth the money spent. Glad it was for only one night

Paid for a king study and got a double bed room. Not really happy about that. Definitely an older part of the hotel-hubby killed a giant house centipede in the bathroom. Room was clean. Towels thin. Pillows kind of flat. Staff was nice. Location isn’t far from campus.

Hotel was great location for me. Staff very friendly. Hotel very clean. Food was average Hampton Inn food. Bed and pillows were great! What killed the stay for me was the paper thin walls. You can hear everything. First night in room next to mine was a yippy yappy kid who also had a very annoying cough. Very frustrating. Second night same room different people the TV was too loud. Total bummer.

Large, very clean room. Very comfortable stay. Only downside was lighting. A little dim in the room even with all of the lights on. Front desk explained to my husband when he mentioned issue at check out that they are in the process of replacing floor lamps and all rooms have yet to be equipped. Nice breakfast in the morning and friendly staff!

I came to Knoxville to attend a funeral at noon. I arrived around 10am. I asked Chris, at the front desk, if it was possible to check in early. Keep in mind check in is 3pm. Chris found a room for me and allowed me to check in. His kindness made me a Hampton Inn customer for life. Thank you!

Adriana who handles breakfast was on it! One of the better continental breakfasts I've had in awhile. The other staff are very polite and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I needed to switch rooms because I really needed a tub and they were waiting for me near the elevator with fresh keys so I wouldn't have to wait on them. They also helped me any time I needed to extend and made it super easy. As someone who travels all the time for work, this was one of the best hotels I had been in. Very quiet, clean, hardly any traffic (even during the holidays), and a wonderful location close to the interstate but without being right on top of it. Also in a prime location for restaurants and entertainment.

I’m kinda mixed on this rating. The service was fantastic. Check-in with Clive was a breeze. He was very polite and knowledgeable. Sam and Jo were every bit as professional and helpful. They responded very quickly to our needs. Travis with maintenance was great. We had a problem that I brought up during our check-in survey. Without even requesting help he was up at our room at 10 pm and fixed the problem. Apparently people from management do read the surveys. The breakfast meals were all very good. The service provided from Kim, Adrianna and Daniel was top notch. Location to what we need was great. You could tell this was an older hotel and needed some work. We had two rooms one of which was very humid compared to the other room. Overall , our stay was very pleasant and would stay there again

The gal who checked us in was unfriendly and borderline unpleasant. We did not get her name but she looked to be in her 20’s or possibly early 30’s and was African American. Last night there was very loud music being played from somewhere that kept us from sleeping. We had had a long, stressful day and went to bed about 8:30 pm. The music sounded like a band or live concert, although it probably wasn’t. We visit Knoxville often and this was our 1st time to stay at this property. We were less than impressed!

The hotel could not find my reservation even after giving the my name, phone number and email address. I had to book elsewhere. I keep getting the run around from hotels.com and the hotel, who keep saying that they need to communicate but never do. This is outrageous and I will never book through hotels.com or the hotel again unless this is resolved.

Friendly staff at counter and throughout facility. Room was very clean. Breakfast was good, egg with cheese and waffles. Kitchen staff kept the buffet full all the way until 10am. The only thing I wish they had was air conditioning in the hallways.

Bad weather we decided to stop . Nice and clean no problems was waiting on waffles because of the commercial . One bad note found hair in my eggs . Lady came out and added more sausage to breakfast bar . No hairnet . Went to management and reported . But will stay again .
