You can see that efforts have been made to update the facility which is good. However, it’s still somewhat run down and the elevators smell like mold/mildew. There is only one ice maker for the entire hotel and it was empty. The ladies at the hotel were very nice.

The janitorial staff starts about 7AM and are louder than can be. No care for guests who could have gotten in late. Was woken up by janitorial staff both mornings we stayed. Other than that, front desk was amazing and very friendly. Parking lot is small so if you're in a large vehicle be aware of your surroundings. Also definitely some of the hottest water at a hotel I've encountered so be careful not to burn yourself.

Full size shampoo/conditioner, body wash was nice. Coffee was good, rest of breakfast ok. Missed oatmeal. Disappointed that pool was out of order & sundeck closed. Ice machine on our floor also out of order. Great bbq place walking distance. Be good place to stay, just have to check amenities not out of order during your stay.

Looked and sounded like truckers using the breakfast area as a lounge area Loud and untasteful language, especially if you want famlies using this hotel. The pool wasn't available for the time we were there. Was told the filter needed changing. The pool was very cloudy. Hotel needs updating. Very old and well used furniture. Couch was stained and air conditioner was not putring out cold air even when adjusted to 60!

Went for a 2 night stay with my husband and two kids for a volleyball tournament. Room was infested with cockroaches who made their way inside all our toiletry bags. We had to make sure before leaving to empty everything to not take the bugs back home. It was disgusting. Want my money back.

A good stay in general but the upholstered chair & hassock in the room were visibly dirty and stained. I did not care to sit on them. The desk staff people were friendly and helpful. Breakfast average.

Ok for a quick overnight stay if sleeping isn’t a priority. We were on main floor by entry and could hear anyone in hallway. Older hotel. Won’t stay here again. Other than that everything else was ok. Good location.

Regular hotel. A little dated, advertised as 4 star, probably closer to 2 or 3 stars. Nothing bad, just needs a little touchup. Worn furniture, facilities, etc. Example: door had to be lifted a little to close where it could be locked. But the complimentary breakfast was nice and staff was friendly.

Property was clean and well kept. Dining area was pleasant and breakfast choices were good. Though the room was clean it was extremely small. The sink and mirror were so close to the door that one could not enter the room if another person was standing at the sink. Also the lighting was so dim that using the mirror was quite difficult.

Hotel was nice enough, parking lot was kind of a mess with large vehicles taking up multiple spaces. Beer bottles and cans in the lot. Lastly, the property sits right in front of a trucking company and behind a truck stop, so it can be noisy. However, having said that, we liked our room quite a lot. We’re a large family and travel with our dog. Room was clean, very spacious, and had everything we needed. We would stay here again.

The room was perfect - the only issue we had is that you put us in a room that was ajoined with another room that had dogs it it and the other dog barked and made our dogs bark back. Having a buffer room between dog rooms would provide a much more enjoyable stay for both rooms.

I have stayed in this hotel quite often. I was less than impressed with this stay. Two weeks before my stay I requested a first floor room at the END of the hallway. It didn’t matter which side as long as it was at the end. No accommodation for that request was made in fact I was forced to take a second floor room in the middle of the hall. Exactly what I did not want. I could understand if the hotel was full, it most certainly was not. The tv in my room was a 27 inch tv. For years, it has always been at least a 55 inch. I expected that but did not receive. The service was not helpful in anyway. Ever since Wyndham took over, the service and accommodation by the staff is sub par and needs to be reviewed. I paid twenty additional dollars for my dog to stay. It’s 50 at Holiday Express. I’ll choose them over la Quinta in the future, I know their service a rooms are worth the money for me and my dog. Shame on you Wyndham, you need to work on your service and rooms. A very unhappy recent guest

When we first arrived, there was a homeless man outside circling the doors. Check in went smoothly, and we made our way to our room. The room smelled musty, paint was chipping from the walls, the floor tiles were unevenly placed, one wall you could visibly see had paint thrown on it. Our adjoining door was blocked with a dresser, and the locks were loose. We settled in, and at 4am, our neighbor that shared the adjoining door, was moaning so loud, it woke up our room (3 kids and 2 adults). My husband went to the front desk and asked them to make them be quiet. For over an hour, we listened to this cow moan, yell and be spanked by someone else. It is so inconsiderate, especially at 4 AM!!!!! The next day, we left for awhile to buy a car, came back and our hotel room smelled like marijuana, and we decided we could no longer stay at the hotel. So we left early, even after paying for two nights. The front desk was no help, and we were miserable the entire stay.

Visiting our son at UT. This proved to be about 17 minutes from campus and they didn’t rip us off on the rate like the other hotels in Knoxville. Would stay here again. Nothing fancy just a good clean room.

Overall for the price it was good. The staff was excellent. Right off of I40 and not far from Pigeon Forge Tn. There are a few food places and gas stations there. I will be staying here again in September.

As soon as we entered the room we had to kill 2 decent size bugs and an additional bug when we returned from eating. Waffle iron did not work, VERY limited options at breakfast, no butter, we were on the second floor but had to push the up button to call for the elevator, could hear barking from other guests dogs, the office chair in the room titled back to the point you would fall backwards, no bottled water for the coffee maker.

The dining room was kind of dirty and the food was cold and not replenished on Wednesday and Thursday. The lady that worked in these days fed a dog with her bare hands and sat in a chair in the actual kitchen most of the time. Tables were dirty. Now the other lady with glasses did an awesome job.
