The room was clean, smelled good, and beds were very comfortable. The A/C worked well and the shower was hot with lots of pressure. Breakfast was lacking variety and the fake scrambled eggs were horrible but we made it work. Part of this hotel is rented out to an oilfield company for workers to stay so there's a lot of workers hanging around everywhere all the time. Even the pool area is closed off for a recreation area just for the workers. It was me and a buddy in town for a tournament and we wasn't interested in the pool area so that wasn't a big deal but I wouldn't want my wife and kids walking around with the oilfield workers I saw.

Check in was fine, front desk lady was helpful, it sis take 10 minutes (technical issues). Room given was suppose to be a non- smoking room but it smelled so bad my allergies acted up all night. Asked for a different room but was told hotel was booked fully. Room Is outdated and cannot get over the smell of smoke

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. We were only there for about an hour and definitely did not stay, even though the owner charged us for a night. The hallway felt grungy and had a strong chemical smell, such as cleaning products. Our room and bathroom was crawling with insects, we think they were roaches. We advised the lady at the front desk we couldn’t stay in a hotel that was infested. She was nice and said the hotel would refund our payment. The owner refunded all but the charges for one night. I will be contacting the health department to report the deplorable conditions.

The room i stayed in was poorly maintained, most thing were broken like the shower door, the toilet holders were hanging off the wall, the towel holders were hanging off the wall also. Most things were damaged very unclean amd black mould. My room was never made up when i had my stay. I am very dissapoined as the amout of money that i payed i could have stayed in a much nicer well kept hotel. It was a very unpleasant stay.

Not the best room experience the bed spread was stained . There were very small blood stains on it when we arrived. We just pushed it off and didn’t use it. The other sheets were fresh and bed was comfortable If you are triggered by mildew smell this is not the place for you. I woke up with a terrible sinus headache. There’s a damp mildew smell in the room. I had to get anti nausea meds for the drive home since it trigger my allergies so badly. They need a dehumidifier. We also felt the room was warm and stuffy, we asked for a fan but they didn’t have one, so we went to the nearby store and got one to help circulate the air. The jet tub was very scuffed up on the bottom from use so we didn’t use it. Positives The room was a nice size and I felt safe in the area. The desk staff were very nice and hospitable to me at check in and out.

No one at the desk at check in. Had to wait 10 minutes. Called out and no one. Finally another customer came in and found someone. Smelled of marijuana inside and outside. All down our hall nothing but weed odor! Walking out the side door to parking lot nothing but weed odor. Horrible! Our room wouldn’t get cool enough and it stunk. People were hanging around outside. I would not recommend

You can definitely tell this is a pretty old building but it is still not bad. Couldn’t get in our room until after 3, went and had a late lunch and it was ready when we got back. Had a few breakfast choices but it wasn’t kept up with very well. The few hot options were cold. Except for the make your own pancakes. They were good.

The rooms ac didn’t work properly, it couldn’t keep up with the size of the room so it was hot in room. When I brought it up to front desk. He told me to check back in 20 mins. Waited. Went back to front desk, guy told me there was nothing he could do that they were completely booked. And service couldn’t go out till the following morning. Then he said if I just unplugged the unit it would be just normal temperature of the building. It was then I realized, the person I was speaking to, either thought I was an idiot or he was a complete idiot to think that unplugging the ac unit would fix the rooms cooling issue and went back to my room to explain to my very understanding girlfriend that we were going to have to be uncomfortable for the rest of the night. Do not recommend staying here unless you enjoy sweating in you sleep.

The hotel was VERY clean. You could smell the cleanliness when we walked inside to check in, so that was very assuring. The room was spacious & nice; however, we did not ask for a "Handicap" room and although it was nice, we found that the bathroom would flood every time that we showered which made it very hazardous for us when walking on wet tile. I reserved a KING SIZE bedroom, not handicapped room which was very displeasing to me & my wife. We made it work though. Also, the refrigerator worked but did not keep drinks cold to our liking. Staff at the front counter was extremely polite & friendly, but most of the cleaning staff did not speak english when we tried to explain to them that we did not want our rooms cleaned.

The staff at the front desk was rude. Didn’t have a room cleaned when we made there, we had to wait an hour for our room. Check in was at 3 but we couldn’t get a room until 4. Then the beds in the room are so worn out m, if you lay down you roll into a sink hole. Both beds!! Will not be staying at that hotel anymore

I booked this hotel for my family and me. We were traveling to Lafayette for my son's birthday and Mardi Gras. When I booked, I chose to pay upon arrival. The morning of my travel the hotel tried to debit my account for payment at 7 a.m. They then called 2 hours later and demanded that I make a payment over the phone, or I would lose my reservation. I explained that I chose to pay upon arrival. The front desk clerk stated their policy was to pay for the room in advance. I then asked to speak to the manager. Allan got on the phone and stated the same thing as the front desk clerk. He said I would lose my reservation. After I refused to pay over the phone, he stated that my reservation was canceled and that I would not be staying at his hotel. He then hung up the phone. I had to book another hotel last minute. This booking was done a week before travel. Why didn't they contact me ahead of time for payment? Very rude and unprofessional.

Hotel was absolutely disgusting, loud, and unsafe for women. I don’t even know where to start! First off, there were a group of thugs playing basketball near the back of the building near our room all hours of the night. My wife went outside to get something out of the car and they asked what room she was staying in. Second, hotel stinks and looks like a prison, several doors looked as if they had been kicked in before. Lastly, the same thugs that were playing basketball all night were waking up and down the hallways all night being extremely loud. Only positive was the front desk associate was nice. Do not stay here as a woman.

Not the best room experience the bed spread was stained . There were very small blood stains on it when we arrived. We just pushed it off and didn’t use it. The other sheets were fresh and bed was comfortable If you are triggered by mildew smell this is not the place for you. I woke up with a terrible sinus headache. There’s a damp mildew smell in the room. I had to get anti nausea meds for the drive home since it trigger my allergies so badly. They need a dehumidifier. We also felt the room was warm and stuffy, we asked for a fan but they didn’t have one, so we went to the nearby store and got one to help circulate the air. The jet tub was very scuffed up on the bottom from use so we didn’t use it. Positives The room was a nice size and I felt safe in the area. The desk staff were very nice and hospitable to me at check in and out.

The room was clean, smelled good, and beds were very comfortable. The A/C worked well and the shower was hot with lots of pressure. Breakfast was lacking variety and the fake scrambled eggs were horrible but we made it work. Part of this hotel is rented out to an oilfield company for workers to stay so there's a lot of workers hanging around everywhere all the time. Even the pool area is closed off for a recreation area just for the workers. It was me and a buddy in town for a tournament and we wasn't interested in the pool area so that wasn't a big deal but I wouldn't want my wife and kids walking around with the oilfield workers I saw.

No one at the desk at check in. Had to wait 10 minutes. Called out and no one. Finally another customer came in and found someone. Smelled of marijuana inside and outside. All down our hall nothing but weed odor! Walking out the side door to parking lot nothing but weed odor. Horrible! Our room wouldn’t get cool enough and it stunk. People were hanging around outside. Front desk staff were extremely pleasant. Room service left definitely dropped the ball. Garbage wasn’t taken out (in fact they left a huge black garbage bag in the middle of the room half full of garbage. The trash vans in my room never made it to the bag left in the room. The room smelled like someone just smoked a cigarette (or a pack), gave the worse headache. There were bugs on the floor where breakfast is served. I have photos of all of the items mentioned.

You can definitely tell this is a pretty old building but it is still not bad. Couldn’t get in our room until after 3, went and had a late lunch and it was ready when we got back. Had a few breakfast choices but it wasn’t kept up with very well. The few hot options were cold. Except for the make your own pancakes. They were good.
