Nice rooms. Friendly desk service. You get to order items for your free breakfast! Very satisfied. We were attending the Wisconsin High School Boys State Tennis Tournament and the location of the Best Western worked out very well for us. Plenty of free parking available.

We always stay here on our way home from Florida every year. We appreciate the comfortable bed and spacious room. We travel with our small hairless dog and the room never feels like a “pet room.” The made to order breakfast is really great, too.

I changed my reservation to use their EV charger- then discovered it was a slow, trickle charger in a poor location and was out of service. I was forced to drive across town in sub-zero temps at 11pm to be able to make it to the funeral I was attending the next morning.

This is our go to hotel Madison. They have a made to order at breakfast in the morning. Rooms are nice and clean and comfortable conveniently located restaurants we stay here at least three or four times a year. My husband likes to fish in Madison so we’re here pretty often. They have fair prices. The hotel pet fee is rather high. I believe they charged us $35 a night to bring our small poodle the last stay. I don’t recall it ever being that high before. Overall, we will definitely stay again, but rethink bringing our dog next time.

Nice facility. Comfortable room. They have a nice little gym- universal weight machine, eliptical, treadmill. The cooked to order breakfast- nice to get something hot that hadn't been sitting in a warming tray for 20 minutes. Downside- I asked 3 different staff where the gym was and they didn't speak much English and had no idea what I was talking about. A visitor told where it was (off to the left at the top of the stairs). Great place to stay on our way to Minnesota.

This place smelled bAD!!!!! It’s an old hotel and amount of dehumidifier helped. The bath tub was old, tv barely worked and the floor felt so gross to step on we didn't take shoe off. The walls are so thin as we could hear our neighbors upstairs walk and squeak at 6 am. Dont be tricked by photos!

I had a great experience at the Best Western West Towne Suites in Madison. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff stood out with their warm, friendly, and consistently helpful service. It really set the tone for the whole stay. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable—exactly what you want after a long day of travel. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere and the little touches that made the space feel inviting. One of the best surprises was the made-to-order breakfast. I’ve stayed here a lot over the last year. I feel like it has gone down hill. From the showers barely spraying water that actual hits you, to finding dog food pellets from previous person who stayed in the room, along with dog hair. The table looked as if you leaned on it, it would fall over. When I first starting staying here you were given actual plates and silverware with your breakfast to now getting nothing but paper and plastic. Being bothered for cigarettes when I went out for a smoke by other people living out of the hotel. Also, the doors not latching until you push on them. Staying else where from now on.

The breakfast was nice to have and the staff was courteous. Sadly the room was not cleaned appropriately. The bedsheets had stains and a tear as well as visible dirt and hair in it. People in rooms were smoking and hallways downstairs and upstairs were smokey. We had a king suite and were moved to a standard double queen because of the bedding and the heater was dreadfully loud and clunking all night. Overall not very satisfied with experience.

I got bit by bed bugs... AVOID this property please, the shower had dirt and hair in it, there was trash scattered around on check-in, and the towels were stained brown and yellow. The surrounding area also seemed a bit unsafe, we checked in at 3AM and there were people loitering around the entrance and hallways.

The breakfast options were nice. The area shopping was convenient. The staff all seemed friendly and nice. The biggest concern was the smell in the room. I am not certain what the smell was from. I believe it is an old building with old appliances and the smell is embedded in the flooring, walls, and or appliances but it was very strong and offensive.

I really like staying at this location. But lately every time we stay there we don't get a good nights sleep. From the refrigerator running in the bedroom to (our recent stay) the heater constantly starting up in the middle of the night waking us up. You really need to update these units so they aren't so noisy when sleeping.

My only complaint is the walls are hallow–merely studs and drywall, so any neighboring guest can be easily heard speaking, coughing, walking, unpacking, etc. I like staying in old hotels (the Pfister in Milwaukee, or the Allerton in Chicago, for example) where the floors and walls are well-made, solid and soundproof. It really makes a difference in the quality of my stay.

The breakfast, with a chef preparing eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage or bacon, to order, is superb. Never been to a hotel at this price point that offers this sort of breakfast. Staff are all competent, communicative, helpful. Steve at the front desk handled a package delivery, with an unknown arrival time, efficiently and with no problems. Will definitely stay here again. I was able to check in a little early when I explained that I hadn’t factored in the time change (one hour earlier) when I planned my drive. The room was excellent and when I had a problem with figuring out the shower the gentleman from the desk came and was able to figure it out. He did not hesitate to call his boss to ask for help, either.

In spite of requesting a top floor room at booking, we were given a first floor room at checkin. Because it seemed like a slow night based on the number of vehicles on the parking lot, we decided not to make an issue about it. However, shortly after arriving in our room, the herd of elephants in the room above us started making a racket. When we complained to the front desk clerk, we were given several excuses why we couldn't be moved to a new room, no availability which I challenged, then the next excuse was there were no rooms available with 2 queen beds and then when we said we were ok with a king sized bed, it was back to no availability. Otherwise, the stay was fine. Good breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds.

We had a terrible experience with staff. When we arrived in our room on an evening my kids were jumping and running around. Then we received a call from the lady at the front desk that the people downstairs complain about my kids jumping upstairs (I have no issue telling my kids to stop), but the worse part was when the front desk lady threatened that this is a warning and if it happens 2 more times then they will "take action," that is, they will kick us out. We wish we were just told to not let our kids jump or run, that should have been enough, but we were also given a threat, which I do not tolerate. Kids are excited for once, so it is natural for them to jump and ru, and we understand that the people downstairs may be frustrated too, but threatening customers to kick them out of a hotel is NOT OKAY. I asked the same lady if there is a way we could switch room because I took the threat seriously. She said the hotel is all booked so there is no room. When I talked with her on the phone around 9pm (about 2 hours after our arrival) she added, "your kids could be in bed by now anyway." We thought it was very rude. We will report this incident to higher management because this kind of customer service is unacceptable. We did not feel welcome there, and I thought it was a kid-friendly place, but apparently not. The positive side was the breakfast was good. Parking was great and there were good restaurants and shops around. The beds we not very comfortable though.

The location is very close to shopping, restaurants, research park, though still quiet enough. Room was clean & stocked but smelled a bit musty. Breakfast room was nice and the breakfast was one of the best I've had at motels. Staff was friendly and competent, but the front desk clerk was wearing a cap that said, "I voted for a convicted felon," which seemed inappropriate for a business dealing face-to-face with the public.

Great location for visiting our son in Madison. The best part is the free breakfast, cooked to order, eggs, pancakes or french toast, includes saugsage or bacon and potatoes. Also have the regular stuff, yogurt, fruit, cereal, etc... We had great night sleep because the mattresses were high quality. The room was clean and perfect size with regular size frig and microwave. We will be back here when we visit again. A++++++

it is nice they have a cook to order breakfast, but on the card they give you for it, they only give you ONE choice of eggs (w/spicy potatoes), french toast, or pancakes. All served with choice of bacon or chicken sausage. they have other items like toast, bagels, muffins and a few cereals. Coffee and juice. It was an average stay for one night. I didn't like that they charged my card $50 as a damage deposit. I haven't been to a hotel in a long time that did that.

2 day stay was overall awesome. Only gripes are the coffee table is a certified ankle breaker. Hitting that in a dark unfamiliar room may ruin a trip with its shin height and sharp, almost menacing corners. Also, the lady making eggs and pancakes seemed overworked. Get her some help and make it like a normal continental breakfast.
