Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Portland International Airport, OR

The hotel is a mile from Portland Airport and runs shuttles every 30 minutes; we walked right onto one. The shuttle drive was friendly and helpful, as was the desk clerk. The room was comfortable and laid out well. The one problem was that someone had clearly used the room since it had been cleaned. The bedspread had been lain on, the pillows were organized for watching TV, and there was trach in the basket. To their credit, the front desk staff was horrified when we told them. I suspect this was looked into that same day.

I took the 5:00 am shuttle to the airport, so didn't get to try the breakfast.

Very Important: we were not told on checking in that we needed to request housekeeping services! Also, there were no basic amenities (shampoo, bath gel) in room on arrival. Would not recommend.

I absolutely love this hotel. The convenient location to PDX and the shuttle to/from is only one of the reasons. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is above standard and always delicious. I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling in/out of PDX.
