The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, the rooms with kitchette were spacious and the kitchenette had all the utensils, pans, etc. you would need to cook. The breakfast was not bad, a little bit of everything offered. AWESOME that pool/hot tub are accessible 24hours!!! HOWEVER THE POOL WAS DISGUSTING DIRTY, SNOT & OTHER SLIMY DEBRI EVERYWHERE!

But I really appreciate it about this hotel in addition to how helpful and friendly all of the staff were, is that everything was in working condition. I had a light bulb going out in one of the lamps and it was fixed by the time I came back for dinner. There was a lot of thought put into this place. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that had laundry facilities and they were really nice.

It was a good place to stay. The only downfall is there was way too much chlorine in the jacuzzi that it was unusable. Literally burning your eyes and throat- we couldn’t swim and have fun because the room was filled with it. That was disappointing considering I have a baby that really loves to swim, and we went to the specific hotel for the pool/jaccuzi.

We stayed 3 nights for a business trip. The women at the front desk were very sweet and kind. They helped when needed, and answered any questions we had. The only down fall was that the hot tub was out of order. I would have loved to soak in it. The ice machine was broken, but the front desk was helpful with that as well!

Hair in tub, on toilet seat, and on pillow in bed. Grime around the tub and baseboards. Pool was filthy (dirt all over pool floor, used bandaids floating in water, dirty towels everywhere) we stayed two days, nobody ever cleaned the pool room. No clean towels either day. Police and medics were called both nights. My daughter was nervous at all the police activity in the hotel. She kept wondering if we were safe. Kleenex in room was shredded, staff at night wasn’t friendly. A sign in the room said to ask for towels for pool at front desk. When I asked, they told me to use the ones in pool area. They were all used and soaking wet so I went back up to the counter to ask. They couldn’t locate any clean ones. Waited half an hour for her to locate one. (There were 2 of us). Then had to walk past all the cops and medics to get to our room. We stay in Portland often. Never again here.

Really strong smoke smells in the room. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, we just needed a quick place to stay while in town for less than 24 hours but was surprised at how much the room smelled like smoke. The staff was great- very helpful and friendly at check in and brought a cot for us. The area is industrial so didn’t feel very safe.

The accommodations were great! Staff was friendly. The room was clean. Easy access with plenty of parking. We were able to have our dog stay with us and there were areas to walk her and a park nearby.

The staff was courteous and the breakfast had some variety. The hot food was appreciated. The cleanliness of the hotel was terrible. Our room was extremely dirty upon arrival. The carpet and hard flooring in the room had obvious debris and dead bugs on the ground. There was hair everywhere and the bedding was covered in stains.

My wife, daughter, and I stayed for two days. The two most disappointing things were the wifi was not working for the two days and I had to use my phone as a hotspot for work and my daughter, and they "forgot" to clean our room. We try to spoil ourselves when we take these mini vacations, and these two issue spoiled some of the fun. The breakfasts and the pool and hot tub were at least good. The TV was the smallest we have had in years during a hotel stay like this, so my wife and I had to wear our glasses to watch, which we are used to not needing when watching a hotel room TV.

The room was cleaned. But the noise level was high. The walls are thin you can hear people showering, the trains go by, and trucks in the adjacent lot. It’s located in an industrial area so there is not much around.

Stayed 4 days, Good location for us and our needs, hotel was clean and staff friendly enough....BUT... Of the 4 days we were there, the room was never refreshed. On the second day to maid knocked but we asked if she would come back as we were getting ready to leave for the day. They never did. Had to go to front desk 3 times to at least get some fresh towels.....we didn't care about beds being made, but fresh towels would of been nice....

The negatives are very small but worth noting. My room key lost its signal twice in 5 days, the soaps and shampoos are in VERY SMALL containers that need a magnifying glass to read and there was no light over the bathroom sink which is separate from the shower and toilet. Poor design. But I would stay again and Daisy behind the counter is a gem!

We checked in at 3 am. Front desk offered late check out to use for noon. We placed a do not disturb sign on door. Maid knocked on door and opened door to have us leave to. Lean room at 9 am. I had the safety lock on thank goodness or she would have come in the room while we were asleep. And we we not the only ones we went ahead and packed up because staff was so loud yelling across the hall to the other maids laughing and cutting up. As we walked the maids were doing it to all the rooms and walking folks up. Check out wasn’t until 11. I worked cleaning and you hit all the rooms with no signs then go back as folks check out that had the do not disturb sign. Very upset new spen 150 for one night and didn’t even get to have it for sleeping! We are driving cross country and need a good sleep!

Aside from the fact that it is older and in an industrial side of town with nothing nearby, except a literal homeless camp, the customer service was the absolute worst. I am not at all demanding or picky, I knew what I was getting when I booked a La Quinta Inn for a last-minute and short stay. But, I was not expecting, nor did I appreciate the absolute blatant rudeness of the front desk staff. The dark haired short skinny male, wearing glasses, and earrings, at checkout 0245-0300 morning of Monday 28 July is the sole reason for the two star review. He is not at all a credit to your establishment nor does he reflect a desire to even work there. I saw cameras in the lobby, so I’m assuming our interaction was recorded if anyone would like to see him not even bother looking up as I stood at the counter directly in front of him for check out. You will see he only speaks when I say hi and even then he has an immediate attitude and sarcasm as if I disturbed his phone or computer time. Not a good way to start a day not a good reflection of a brand not at all ideal for front desk service he’s likely better suited for janitorial or food prep in the back away from the public. I would not stay there again nor would I recommend it to anyone else at least the other things can be overlooked, but there’s no excuse for poor front desk staff in the hospitality industry.

The accommodations were great! Staff was friendly. The room was clean. Easy access with plenty of parking. We were able to have our dog stay with us and there were areas to walk her and a park nearby.

For my third time staying at Laquita was just alright. My other two times were fantastic. My only gripe is the gentlemen running the desk around 8ish didnt seem pleased to be at work. There was no greeting or smiles. And when I needed extra towels it was an awkward exchange. I only day this to say the women who run the definition check in during the day are so sweet and welcoming. There is also now a homeless encampment on the sidewalk near the hotel.

Hotel was good, area around it was interesting. Homeless camps along the main road to get to the hotel and just feet from the entrance. Only 2 places to eat in the area. Staff was great, room was clean.

This was a nice hotel. Wish I had taken my swimsuit - the pool looked good & lots of guests were using it. The room was good with a good bed & TV. Safe parking. Out on the road near the hotel were a couple of homeless camps, but they did not interfere with the smooth operation of the hotel.

Property is in industrial but much better than Portland downtown. Do not recommend downtown Portland is completely a mess with homelessnesses.there’s no restaurant around this hotel . Good thing hotel offers free parking and free breakfast. Only thing I don’t like they need to either replace carpet in entire hotel or at least get carpet deep cleaned. Overall very safe and quiet night time..

We stayed there because it was somewhat close to OSHU. That area of town is not the best, but we did feel safe inside. Our car wasn't broke into, thank goodness!! The room was nice, fine for the night. The desk agent that checked us in was not very friendly or professional. Pool is open 24 hrs. Breakfast was not great, they were out of several items and did not restock (including and eggs, biscuits). Get breakfast else where!

I loved the 24 hour pool and the staff was amazing. And so helpful. But our room was dirt and there was hair and streaks on toliet and the fan didn’t work there was candy and wrappers at the head of the bed in floor and got a jacuzzi tub unit that the water was green and I cleaned it and refilled it and still came green. No water presssure in shower. And the breakfast was empty 30 min after opening as if they didn’t fill anything when they set up shop
