There’s no better place for families! My son bounced from the indoor pool, to the hot tub, to the large outdoor pool, the lazy river, and the infinity pool! A great restaurant on site makes it possible to never leave.

Hotel was very nice. Clean, convenient, comfortable. Service at the bars was very slow and the bartenders didn’t seem to know what they were doing. I asked housekeeping to service our room and they did but didn’t clean the sink. Pool area could have been cleaner and pool towels were not kept stocked. I would expect better service for a Margaritaville hotel.

Room was very spacious and enjoyed sitting on balcony overlooking huge pool area. Bed comfortable and towels very nice. New hotel so everything in great condition. Pool and lazy river and got tub were really nice. Free pinball and games in lobby. Only complaint was the closing of fire pits and pool with the slightest forcast of poor weather way too far in advance of weather getting there or it never even came. Strongly recommend this hotel for families with kids or just adults. I would definitely stay here again. Convenient location to everything in pigeon forge.

Hubby and I always stay at Gatlinburg Margaritaville. We were disappointed with the pool service at Compass PF. There were no towels at the main pool either day, and the pool was dirty on Sun 7/20 and Mon 7/21. There was only one pool waiter for bar food/drinks so they were overwhelmed, which caused service not to be too good. We loved all the amenities, there just needs to be some tweaks in service. Thanks

Compass was absolutely a perfect stay! The hotel and location were fabulous. The room, pool and service can't be beat. Meirei (from Spain) was our friendly pool server who went above and beyond to make sure we're were well taken care of. The breakfast buffet had a very wide variety, including cheese omelet, frittata, home fries, bacon, sausage, french toast, pancakes, Danish, muffins, bagels, cereal, fruit, boiled eggs. Plain scrambled eggs/omelet and self made waffles should be offered. Everything was refilled often, but warm items were not always warm or tasty. ....but still a nice buffet overall. Rooms were beautiful and spacious. The pool, slide, hot tub, plunge pool and lazy river were beyond amazing! Compass is our new Pigeon forge favorite! Highly recommend for couples, families or a girls trip!

The lazy river was a blast. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had a balcony that overlooked the Pigeon Forge parkway with a beautiful view of the sunsets. The hotel was very clean with free water and coffee available in the lobby. I used the gym, and it had everything I needed for a great vacation workout. Great location with several restaurants within walking distance. They provided a breakfast with a good selection. I'd 100% recommend. We plan to come back and bring our grandkids to their waterpark (which essentially is what they have, a small waterpark).

The water- features area was great ; my nephews and niece loved it! As a matter of fact , it was the reason we booked here and they pretty much stayed on-site for most of the trip! The breakfast offered a great variety and was kept quite clean and organized. The only "didn't likes" I would have would be the very slippery surfaces around the outdoor water areas and the "incidentals" charge at check-in. I saw several children (including my own nephews) fall and quite a few adults slip/skid while walking. I felt the need to "creep" around when I walked outside ! lol That could honestly be quite a danger if a child or senior fell and hit their head. Regarding the check-in process : Yes, I did read that there would be an additional fifty-something dollar charge at check-in but I read it as a one-time fee. When I checked in I was a bit shocked to be charged appx. 200.00....after having paid in full ,prior to arrival! I did not see that the charge was PER DAY , not an overall fee. The entire concept seemed odd to me because, if not mistaken, those type fees became illegal to charge, as of 7/1/25 but I do live in another state so perhaps it doesn't include all states. That being said, the kids had a great time and I believe we will likely return for a future stay.

Great property with amazing pool recreation area. Kids and adults loved the pools, slides, lazy river, hot tub. We sat at the pool bar every evening and had food and drinks. Our large family was easily accommodated. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff was friendly. Quick drive to many attractions.

We loved our trip at the Compass. The facilities were very clean and smelled so nice. Every space you walk into smelled so fresh. The infinity pool was our favorite spot to hang out. The restaurant onsite was so convenient and the food was even better than we hoped! Also having a complimentary breakfast was a pleasant addition. We will definitely stay there again. I can’t say enough great things about this facility. The location is convenient to everything that we needed.

Room was large, found a dirty sock under the curtain at window that was left behind by previous folks. Called front desk and the cleaning manager was there quickly, offered us another room, but we just had her reclean the room. Other than that stay was great. All the staff were nice, friendly, and helpful.

This hotel is wonderful! It’s so clean and beautifully decorated. Room- We stayed in a standard room with 2 queen beds. Our room was beautiful and spacious. We were on the 7th floor in a corner where we had a Mountain View from the balcony but a slight pool view from the window. Perfect spot! Nice and quiet. Beds were comfy but I did listen to reviews and brought my own pillow. Shower was huge! I was a little disappointed there was no tub because my kids are used to baths, but it was fine. The only thing I did not like was how there was nothing to divide the toilet area from the rest of the bathroom. A pocket door would have been perfect. Pool- The pool area was huge, clean, and so much fun! My son loved the slides. I enjoyed the lazy river and my daughter loved the spray features. We went to the pool in the afternoon, usually between 1 and 2 and it wasn’t too crowded. It did look busy at night time, especially the slides. Food- The breakfast was yummy! I liked the island potatoes, eggs, and salsa.

It's nice but I got the room with a pool View and it is extremely noisy on the balcony between the noise from the pool waterfalls and the water slide and the loud havc system on the end of the balcony not very relaxing but overall was good

Our room was on the 5th floor overlooking the pool area. The hotel plays music outside in the pool area. The music is very loud even with the balcony door closed. The music played to after 10 PM. My wife is on cancer medication and has trouble sleeping. It may be quieter on the other side of the hotel.

All of the front desk staff could use an attitude adjustment. Any time you ask them a question, it feels like you’re bothering them. This usually happens at places with high ratings — upper management gets too comfortable and eases up on their employees. Also, be aware they’ll charge you a $50 early check-in fee, even if you arrive just 10 minutes before the 4 p.m. check-in time.

The waiters are confused on what they can serve. We ordered a few drinks by the pool. The waiter took the order and then asked for I.D. It would be great if the hotel had wrist bands to identify adults. We were inside the pool. We don’t bring anything Ike that to the pool! We had to cancel our drinks and so my husband asked for coffee and water. The waiter comes back with only water and says we stopped serving coffee at 10:30am. This was at 4pm when we ordered. Why wouldn’t he know that? Then we over heard another waiter saying they can brew some coffee for someone else! The service at the bar and restaurant was not the best. But the hotel itself was great.

The property was lovely. However, the staff was not very helpful and didn’t explain themselves well. Also, there was fees on top of fees and they keep saying it will take 7-10 business days for it to be credited back. That is unacceptable. I have stayed at other Margaritaville hotels and have never experienced this.

Check in was very nice, front desk was so friendly. The hotel is very nice & clean. However around 9:30p an employee walked into our room and it was uncomfortable and startled our kids. She had left something in the room and thought the room was empty but uncomfortable and I’m sure a one off but uncomfortable

Front desk was not helpful at check-in. Hold fee for possible damages was not explained prior to check-in. There was no effort on the part the front desk to remedy the situation. Breakfast was okay. Eggs were cold and coffee was horrible.

Great location. Steps to museums and mini golf and restaurants. A gas station and a Burger King about 100 yards away as well as a spectacular Mexican restaurant right outside the hotel. Great price for the rooms as well.

Beautiful property and wonderful room. The hotel ground and the lobby area was a great place to just hang around! My husband and I enjoyed the game room and the Mexican restaurant across the parking lot. We will probably stay here again next year when we come back!

Great hotel! Loved the location because it’s accessible via a less busy road. Parking was a breeze. Check-in was fast and efficient. The concierge was also helpful and pleasant. Rooms are amazingly spacious and clean. Didn’t use the pools but they looked fun. Buffet breakfast was very good and lots of seating was available. Will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel. Comfortable bed. Quiet which kinda surprised me as our room overlooked the pool on the second floor. The pool was awesome and had a short lazy river ride. Very clean like no other hotel pool I've ever been in. Great restraurant in the hotel. My only small complaint would be that the breakfast, which was really good and a lot of options, was kinda cold, which I credit to other guests leaving the lids off the dishes after serving themselves.
