Charming place with good service and nice touches such as the check in and check out biscuits! Rooms aren’t that big but have a lovely character and features. Breakfast was great and spa treatment very nice. Pool area is nice although the pool is fresh - good for lengths but not warm enough for a loll about! (February). Nice to have a billiard/pool room although could do with a new cue! Lovely courtyard atmosphere with musicians early evening. We didn’t eat dinner here as lots of good (and more reasonable!) options in the town but am sure it will have been nice! Glad we stayed here.

Beautiful proper hotel with all the bells and whistles. Large rooms, excellent service, beautiful courtyard for breakfast or afternoon tea.
