Not a bad hotel, the area around it is iffy, but that’s to be expected since it’s Hillcrest. The hotel doesn’t have anywhere to park your car out front to check in real quick so be prepared to park a little ways away to check in then park your car in its garage. Also if you have a truck or big car in general don’t even think about parking your car in the garage because good luck if you choose to. All in all though it ain’t a bad hotel for the price.

Affordable rooms and great location. Quite small and dirty, though. The kitchen was awful.

Location is GREAT, specially if your trip includes a few nights out around Hillcrest. The place could be a little cleaner. They also won't do your room during your stay, so no clean towels or fresh linen during the stay...

So where do I begin? First of let's discuss the good parts about this place. Communication was effective and actually allowed switching parking spots (original parking spot was tight/small). Checking in also went smoothly, had no problems there. Now the bad parts. I didn't know you had to pay extra for parking, it wasn't listed on the site when booking, and it was difficult finding the entrance to the place. I had to call front desk for assistance. Additionally, while resting in the hotel room I had an unexpected vistor. A hotel staff member came into my room while I was asleep because they got the rooms confused. There was a "misunderstanding" that another room had called in for room service. Regardless, I had the extra door lock locked, so it was concerning that they were able to just barg in even with the second lock with no warning. There's no microwave but a shared kitchen, in the shared kitchen the water filter didn't work and the ice maker machine was moldy and seemingly had been uncleaned for a while. Another issue I encountered was when I was showering I had a little critter friend pay me a visit. Thankfully, on the bright side, I was able to get a refund for my parking and the extra two nights I was suppose to stay.
