Great Staff. But the facilities are dated and smell like BO. Pool out of order. Treadmill out of order. Ice machine out of order. Was instructed to walk to a neighboring hotel to get ice. Parking fee was unnecessary.

$250 dollar room authorization. Rip off. Two weeks before you get that back on your credit card. They do cevrecuced it though to $150 after my complaint. Plus, they just started charging 3 dollars for parking. What a way to drive customers away. Don’t stay at this hotel.

The room was very nice but the grounds of the hotel were just okay. The pool was not open and the breakfast area was relatively small.

We always enjoy staying here to bring in the New Year away from all the people shooting in the city. The only thing I wasn't fond of was paying $3 to park at a room I paid over $200 to rent for the night. When checking in I was asked if I had a vehicle that would be staying and was informed about a $3 parking fee for me to park. I don't know when that started but it very weird to have to pay to park when you're paying to rent a hotel room and there isn't any security patrolling the parking lot. So we found that very weird.

This hotel was a mixed bag. The bad news first: The physical condition was in desperate need of an update. The pool and ice machine were both out of order with no sign that repairs were scheduled. A bunch of broken dishwashers and air conditioners were strewn around the back parking lot in a makeshift "appliance graveyard." The doors in the rooms were warped and didn't close properly without being forced very hard, and the carpet was dingy and stained. They have also recently started charging a small, per-night parking fee for a suburban hotel where the parking lot was only half full. This seems like a petty money grab since there was no valet parking and no limited space. Felt like we were being nickeled and dimed. The good news: The beds were comfortable; the appliances in the room were in working order and the room was stocked with basics we needed for a pleasant two-night stay. The hot/cold breakfast array and service exceeded our expectations. In fact, what really made this stay good was the AMAZING STAFF that keeps this place going despite what seems like the facility falling down around them. I especially want to give a shout out to Keera, Kim, and Kizmet, the unsung hero of the breakfast service -- who were all absolutely outstanding and made up for the other issues. Overall, I grade the facilities a C+ and the staff an A+.

My main purpose of trip was to swim and relax. My weekend was ruined because there was no pool.one of the only reasons i booked was a pool never again will i book with expedia you don’t update your hotels. Very UNHAPPY!!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable, but the strike plate onntje door was loose and should be repaired. It was nice to have a fitness room, but it is far too small and only had one treadmill, which was already in use when I needed it. Overall, it was a good stay.

This hotel held $150 on our credit card. Never paid THAT much! We are retired, and just spending one night to visit our son. We don't fit the profile of thieves or partiers! They informed us it may take 7 - 14 days for our bank to remove this charge. As retirees on a fixed income, this provided a hardship. When we disputed this charge, they informed us that their system would not allow us to check in unless we consented. Then, as a "courtesy", they waved the $3 Parking fee. This hotel had ample ground level (no garage) parking. Why would they charge a parking fee!!! Ridiculous!! We definitely will NOT stay in this hotel again.

My first time in Michigan and let me tell you this property is one reason I’ll return. Staff was so kind, thoughtful, respectful—just a 10. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and cozy.

I was surprised to discover that fresh towels had to be requested daily, as I wasn’t informed that there was no room cleaning service. The carpets in both the hallways and rooms hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned in quite some time, and there was visible mold in the kitchen area. The property felt very neglected overall, with an unkempt appearance. It had more of a motel vibe, despite the photos online making it look like a hotel.

Ants in our room heard from others I our group they also had ants. Room was not clean to any standards really disappointed.

When we checked in, the room was filthy. Wet towels on the floor, bed unmade and slept in

The service was fine but the people that were staying there next to us were creepy. Following us around and staring at us everywhere we went. Also, the room was full of ants, stink bugs and spiders.

Dirty, noisy, room wouldn't stay warm

I stayed for work. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff was very nice. It's a bit of an older property, but they seem to keep up with it.

I usually clean/disinfect my room prior to getting comfortable but most of the time the rooms have been thoroughly cleaned. There were food crumbs in the refrigerator handle and unpleasant stains on the ottoman. The beds appeared to be made with fresh sheets. After settling in for a few hours and stepping out, we received a call that a pipe had burst in one of the rooms and that we were going to be moved due to a lack of hot water availability. While the attendant advised that we would be moved to a different room, in a different building, we found it inconvenient to move all of our things to another room. Ultimately, we declined to move and stayed in the original room as we didn’t get back until after midnight. We likely won’t stay at this location but not writing them off altogether.

The room was stained with the awful smell of cooked food, my room was particularly had compared to the hallway. The bathroom was moldy and dirty with hair on the ceilings, a dirty toilet seat, a toilet that rocked when you sat on it, the water in the toilet ran constantly as well. Very poor conditions. Yes they were nice but that doesn’t make up for such a gross experience.

The staff was fairly good. The complimentary breakfast was good; better than I expected. The atmosphere and condition of the suites was not that appealing and in need of improvement/updating. It met my needs since I was in town for a family funeral for 2 days.

The area felt safe... The room was nice, BUT it could use a refresher... The employee's were so darn nice...Let me repeat, they were genuinely nice and it was so refreshing as I travel a lot... Price point was good as well... Just touch up some of the rooms and they'd be good to go ...

Furniture is old

The only reason I rated it 4 star is they have limited closet space. There’s no drawers to store clothes. Also the TVs were small.

I stayed for work. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff was very nice. It's a bit of an older property, but they seem to keep up with it.

Incidental rate ($250) was the highest Ive ever seen, especially after paying well over ($400). Room definitely needed an update. One of the nightstands in the bedroom was the tv stand. Desk definitely did not fit the decor, giving Walmart replacement. Bedroom felt claustrophobic, and queen bed, slept more like a full. I have no complaints with the servics or the cleanliness, room and experience just not up to a standard I would expect with a room I paid so much for.

Check in was quick and the lady was very friendly. She remembered who I was from my phone call many hours before we even arrived. Room is really nice has everything we need just like at home.

I was really surprised when I got to my room. I was not expecting what I had in my room. It was large with a kitchen with it. I was thinking to myself can this be the right room. It was really clean and well kept. The front desk girl Myka, was warm and engaging. She was so nice. Great job.

Staff was extremely helpful, polite, and always cheerful. Room wasn't very clean but also not exactly dirty. Needed better cleaning. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, room got super hot at night even with the heat off and a window cracked. Overall, not an awful experience but was hoping for better.

every hotel person, everyone, whom i came in contact with, was awesome and helpful and pro guest.

Adiya was very professional and nice. Quiet lovely environment. Nice rooms. Although, booking through Expedia . It should be mentioned that a $250 deposit will be taken before getting your key.

The staff was wonderful. Very cordial, very friendly, really enjoyed our stay.

I was having a bad day and the lady at the desk was very nice and helpful to me and that real made my day I appreciate her for that and I enjoyed my pleasant stay

Our initial room had a few problems. They switched to a different room the next day and everything was great.

Staff at this hotel make up for the location and the maintenance that needs to be done. Staff are friendly, kind and accommodating and made our stay so enjoyable. ** there is tiny signs to find this property and we drove past entrances a few times. Suggest better signage

The staff were all very friendly and informative. The property is nice and tucked away from the main road. I booked the room based on past experiences at other locations and was not disappointed. The kitchenette is perfect and the desk was a much-needed work space.

The staff here are phenomenal. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is a bonus.

The building was difficult to find mixed in with all the other buildings. Was given 2 so called card keys to open the door, one worked with difficulty the other would not open the door as it was not swiped or whatever you call it. The room itself was very nice.
