The hotel is situated on a beautiful beach and an overall nice looking property. We got a room that had several issues and didn’t match the pictures, so if you get assigned room 707, considering asking for a different room. The hotel did provide some comps for the condition but overall our experience didn’t match the price tag of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a great location right on the beach. As with almost all hotels in CR, the pool is not heated and too cold even in hot weather but the proximity to the beach and ocean makes up for it. The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. Definitely request an upstairs room otherwise you need to keep the curtains drawn the entire time. Restaurant is high on price and moderate in quality but fine for post-beach snacks. We also did the hotel-provided boat and snorkel sunset trip which was well worth it.
