Heritage Hotel Quincy

Why pay more for a brand new remodeled room with excellent bedding? Loved free parking directly outside our room. Did I mention quiet? Support a local investor bring back a historic hotel near the River. 78 bucks total via a special rate. The reservation clerk was awesome and gave us a great choice to order pizza to our room.

Very clean, newer rooms. Would stay again for the price(<$100). TV is new, internet reliable. Outside of that, not much amenities(gym, pool etc) - hence if <$100 it's a solid hotel. For >$100, I'll prob stay where there's a gym/pool/much more convenient location(this is in downtown away from all the stores/shops).

Room was cooled by a window air conditioner that kicked on and off all night. Was not quiet at all. Hallways had dirty carpet. Hallways on bottom floor was tile and they looked dirty. Whoever had painted just left splattered paint all over the tile. 1 ice machine that i could find was on the bottom floor. No elevator to first floor so you had to carry all luggage and any thing else you had up a flight of stairs. This was rated a 8.8 hotel. Far from that.

Still being renovated, brand new rooms. Great stay, friendly staff.

This hotel doesn't have a pool, a fountain in the lobby or a restauarant but if you want a clean, quiet comfortable stay at a great price this is the place.

Just a overnight stay. This hotel is in a very convenient location with excellent parking. This hotel is a refurb of what used to be one of the finest hotels in Quincy. They are still in the process but if they continue the process it will regain status of one of the best. Thank you for your excellent service and attention to the little things that add to comfort and security.

This is a lovely renovated hotel. The only issue was that you had to go up 9 stairs to reach any of the rooms. This is not ideal.

Clean! Easy parking. A bare bones kinda place. Which was just what we needed on a stop to a funeral.

I was looking for a great priced little spot for a stay while I was in town on business and gave this place a shot. It was perfect for my stay across from the Oakley Lindsey center with LOTS of parking. You need a key to go in and out but when you arrive obviously you don’t have one yet, so found myself waiting outside for a call back from the “missing” front desk folks. Two calls and I was able to get in .. then the owner/manager called from out of state to be sure I had gotten in alright. INTERESTING! Important to note is that you need to be able to go up 7 stairs with your luggage to reach the first floor of rooms. The building Is situated on a bluff so floors are “different”. And while there is a service elevator, it doesn’t stop at the first floor. So you have to be able to carry your luggage up stairs and tel to the room. It’s newly remolded so the rooms are new .. very roomy very comfortable. And my favorite is that it had LOTS of light in the room .. I hate dim rooms so this was excellent!!! Rooms are not tidied daily .. and personally I like that a lot. Water pressure was good in the shower. Breakfast was normal hotel fair but they had a real working toaster .. yay!! The staff was friendly and helpful. All in all while off to a rocky start standing in the entranceway, I’d say this is a solid 4.5 stars with a great price.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Lots of parking. Right downtown.

The room was VERY clean and comfortable. It had all of the amenities needed. I would recommend this hotel to friends.

Air conditioning worked excellent, room was clean, however the toilet was sub-par in the cleaning.

Heritage Hotel is a very nice place recently opened near the Quincy riverfront. Despite its reasonable price it was full of upscale comfort and amenities. My room was quiet, spotless & even luxurious. The bed & pillows were very comfortable, towels were plush. Fridge and microwave. Everything worked, everything was clean. Free breakfast too although I missed it. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Every was good but our room smelled a bit smoky.

Yes. Only one thing.....My bathroom sink was Nasty. It looked like old food was dried in it or someone regurgitated and the sink was Never cleaned. That was kinda disgusting. Other than that, the room was Nice!

We were very pleased with our stay at Heritage Hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby area, dining room, and our room were very clean and fresh! The price was perfect! Thanks so much for the hospitality!

Yes. Everything in the room was updated and Nice. Nice size TV with microwave and Refrigerator. Very clean. Just make sure housekeeping is cleaning the rooms correctly. My sink was very dirty. It had old food all in it! Gross!

The rooms are extremely clean. That is wonderful. The pricing is great! Breakfast wasn’t warm and had to be reheated. Coffee was good. The staff is friendly for sure and just lovely. Convenient location too. Neighbors could be easily heard through the walls and their TV as well .. at 1 am. There’s also an unpleasant smell in the lobby that needs to be addressed. Smells like sewer gas backing up due to a dry line. Just needs water, maybe a lot, run through it.

Staff was very nice, hotel was clean and pretty quiet!

I booked this hotel for my mother. She ended up having to get steroids because of how bad the BEDBUGS were. I haven’t heard back from them nor have they refunded the stay. It’s disgusting. Smelled horribly and she is getting extermination just to ensure she didn’t bring anything home with her. Completely appalled.

Room was great, comfortable and clean. I only downside was thin walls and thin floors. Could hear all comings and goings. (Our room was on the first floor) 2nd floor may be better.

Didn’t arrive until 1:30am and was told no check-ins after 11:30pm. Luckily there was a very nice OPEN Quality Inn two blocks away.

When my family and I arrived at 7pm, the Hotel doors were all locked and there was no one at the front desk. We knocked on the doors and called the hotel to get assistance, and no one answered. Unbelievable, especially after our long day on the road. We were scrambling to find another room in Quincy when someone finally let us in 20 minutes later. Then, for some reason, it took another 15 minutes or more to check in. The hotel definity needs to address these issues.

The rooms are newly renovated and very clean and comfortable. HOWEVER, the front desk is rarely staffed, breakfast is to be from 6-9 every day and that doesn’t happen. It’s hit or miss. I prepared the coffee two times during my stay and at 8-8:30 there had not been any breakfast preparation or set up. On top of that there was no front desk staff present to even contact. Management has really dropped the ball

I have never left a negative review for a hotel. I travel pretty much every weekend and have never ran into service this bad. Whatever you do do not show up after midnight expecting they will check you in. They will answer the phone after midnight but won’t open the door to check you in. The will not refund your money either!!! Terrible terrible terrible service. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The rooms were excellent. The breakfast was adequate but not much variety. The major problem encountered was the Hotel had locked the front door in the afternoon because check in wasn't allowed until 3PM. Consequently, due to the event taking place in town, a long line for registration took place at 3. I stood in line for 90 minutes to get checked in. There was only one employee and one computer at check in.

This hotel was in a good location and the room was large and in very good condition. It was a nice hotel and the price was low for the quality of the hotel.

This hotel was a great value! The staff was nice and helpful. There is nothing unique about this hotel except for the fact that it is near restaurants, has clean rooms, great AC during summer heat, and great shower pressure! What more can you ask for.

Older property has been recently remodeled so everything is new. Not impressed with the two pages of rules you have to read and sign while checking in followed by multiple notes in the room with instructions and threats about what happens if you can't account for a washcloth. Area is super shady with multiple boarded up buildings and disabled cars in the lot. If I hadn't previously booked online and was just driving through the area looking for a room, I would not have stopped in this area.

We decided to stay at the Heritage because it had good reviews but also because it was within walking distance of Riverside BBQ. Neither establishment disappointed. Due to the cheap price of the room, I did not expect much. But the room was clean and spacious with indications that the hotel was recently renovated. Due to the street layout, and with the Mississippi bordering the rear of the hotel, the room was extremely quiet. Great sleeping.

The staff members were very friendly and accommodating. Overall was a great hotel, the only thing I felt was subpar was the breakfast. It was horrendous, but I suppose you can’t win them all.

Nice quite hotel clean, comfortable. Also free bottled watered and continental breakfast.
