Elevator not working to go upstairs

First room assigned was not ready and had to be reassigned to another room. Room was in 3rd floor but elevator was broken and they couldn’t give us a room in the lower floor even though we had bad knees and a dog crate. Bed was broken, window did not close , elevator not working, side entrances were not locked.

This place is very clean and the staff are great but it is pretty run down. The owners are not investing investing in upkeep, as illustrated by the fact that the elevators have been out of service for over a month, and the shower did not work, and we had to be switched to a new room.

Hotel was fine overall. Elevator not working (being replaced?) But staff helped carry my suitcase up and down.

Elevator was out of service due to repairs. Room had a strong odor of curry, stains in the carpet, and found small cockroach in the kitchen. Only stayed for one night and reported these issues to the friendly front desk staff, who assisted in refunding my stay.

The appearance and condition of the facility look nice, then you enter. The exterior door card access does not function properly. The access to the room also does not function properly. The door frame was not aligned blocking the door from closing fully. You had to use the card several times to open the door. The TV cable in the room malfunctioned every day. Unplugging the TV was the only way to fix the issue. The front desk was irritated that they needed to assist with fixing the issue. The customer service attitude was short and not friendly. The morning travel breakfast area was always a mess. The only positives to the stay, the bed was very comfortable, and the space was plenty.

Hotel was clean, staff not super friendly. Elevator was “being renovated” (although we saw no signs of renovations), so we had to use the stairs. Wifi wasn’t working and then the power went out for about 20 minutes. Beds were ok but sheets felt like paper. Served it’s purpose for a one night stay but I don’t think I’d stay longer than necessary.

Elevator not working and has been down for a while, didn't know when it will be fixed. Ice machine not working either.

No pots and pans for the stove, took over an hour to check in, mixed my reservation, they rebooked me and blamed it on hotels.com (i never had this issue with you guys)down graded my queen to 2 twins, with no offer of any funds returned, my phone was bigger than the television, my key was denied access to the vending machine room, got let in and the vending machine was out of order!

Checked in and found out that the elevator was out of service until December! The room was not very clean and had a weird smell. Had a studio suite but the refrigerator could not be opened. Will never stay there again.

The room was not clean good trash was left in the room, tv was not working, my toilet was clogged for 6 hours no came to fix it, no manager onsite neither over the phone that could help me with the situation. I contacted them online via the online contact us.

Bathroom was dirty fire alarm woke us up at 2am and we had to stay outside for almost an hour then we also found a roach

worst place ever. extremely rude staff, dirty hotel. the person above me would be banging on pipes at 2AM and when i told the front desk i might as well have been talking to the dead. the staff including the management was extremely rude and unresponsive. i even caught one of them sleeping on the sofa in the lobby. they have one guest who apparently runs a auto body shop out of his room. the place is filthy, as are the staff (both appearance and smell) bathroom was disgusting when i checked in and their no shower liner so the floor gets flooded. one guest said there wasn't even a shower curtain in his bathroom at all, the toilet had black rings under the rim and had an odor and the room hadn't even been swept in a while. the bed in the room was a queen but they used a king fitted sheet because they ran out of queen??????? the worst place i have ever stay was red roof inn but this place makes it look like heaven. they make it sound like home away but unless your home is a garbage dump it is so far from it. i know most people exagerate things when they write a review but i don't. i write exactly what i think. so if you take away anything from this review it should be RUN RUN RUN RUN away as fast and as far away from this chain as you can. if you decide to stay anyway then make sure all your shots are up to date. TRAVELER BEWARE!!!!!!

Never again, barely clean, old everything, dirty and broken But even beyond that was a horrible smell that staff said is in all of.the rooms because when someone is cooking that and the old.fumes and comes thru the vents. WTH! One night the bldg alarm.went off from.someones cooking and the fire department had ro be called. Never, ever again.. However, I will say, one.of the employees, Nate, was very gracious and personified hospitality.

Room doesn’t like clean and sanitized we saw dirt on the floors and Hairs on the bed.

The building needs upgrading. There was mold on my mirrors in my room but the tub and bathroom and kitchen were incredibly clean. The carpet needed to be replaced.

Dirty and old. Room smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. The floor wasn’t even swept. It gave vibes like roaches were about to come out. Def stay somewhere else.

Staff was stand off-ish. The room was clean but the tub was nasty. The appliances are dated and the tv was small.

Pros: quiet, comfortable beds, friendly staff Cons: elevator is still broken, 3rd floor neighbors smoking in the smoke-free building

Spacious

The halls smelled awful and the refrigerator in our room was not working and it smelled disgusting. We reserved a king bed and was given a queen that looks like a full. The air was not working and when we called the front desk to advise them of all the issues and ask for a new room, he stated there was no rooms available and he would come check the air. He never came up. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I checked the site and it had rooms available. The man at front desk was not very responsive and seemed new and not helpful.

Size of room was good. The room seemed to have a smokey smell, but not too bad.

Staff were very helpful, room was clean. Hallway smelled of dog urine and Marijuana even though the rooms were non smoking. Tv never really worked we were able to watch tv once but not the rest of the time we were there as it had no signal.

The room did not look like the image online. It smelled like cigarette smoke and the air conditioning was limited, so not as cool as desired.

WIFI didn't work. Bathroom smelled of smoke, noisy fan. Fixtures and walls looked old and worn. No breakfast as advertised, only coffee. I checked out after one night. Don't stay here!

The room is spacious. The price is reasonable. I slept well. Free parking. Free Wi-Fi. Free breakfast but I did not eat any. No shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were provided. No utensils, plates, cups, and coffee maker were provided unless you asked. No coffee, and no tea. No safe. No microwave. The light and air extractor in the bathroom did not work well. The elevator did not work. Closed at 11 pm.

My tv remote did not work- they kept bringing new ones but same problem. The door handle to get in my room was broken- took at least 5 tries to get in my room- every single time I came back. Had to call maintenance to kill the bugs on my ceiling. The dust bunnies were ridiculous.

This location has definitely improved since Keisha the Manager has taken charge. The difference is extremely noticeable. Also everyone at the front desk is amazing as well as housekeeping. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Got there late night and there was nobody at the front desk hotels.com called them to try to get somebody to come to the front desk to check me in and that did not work. I ended up not staying there because I could not check in And they refused to refund my money

My confirmed room was given to someone else. I reached at hotel at 11:30 pm with family including a child and a senior citizen. Receptionist said I don't have any rooms available, your room is allocated to someone else and I will refund your amount. Go somewhere else and find a room. Rude!!!

Trrible experience for the first time with this hotel stay I had . I have been customer of ESA for long but this one experience with the gurl at the reception was terrible She didnt even showed any attention while talking and the room she gave us twice was not ready with its house keeping i wouldnt wven rate this hotel as the receptionist was very snippy and we were given smoking room though i booked a non smoking teo rooms

The management and staff were very helpful to me and my family. I love it there.

The location was close to where I was having a conference. Plenty around it but you had to drive to get to anything. While I was there the elevator was not working and I was to be on the 2nd floor. I asked then to be on the first floor and was easily changed to the first floor. While checking out I asked for a receipt and one was not provided but staff person indicated they would send me one. So far I have not gotten a receipt emailed to me.

The luxurious renowned Princeton location is what I liked about the property.

Area around property was satisfactory. Traffic and getting on to very busy highway not good

The room was decently cozy and a good vibe for the cost. The coffee in the lobby ended a bit early, and I had knocks on my door before check out which made me feel more rushed to leave. Overall it’s a comfortable stay. However, it’s not the place to stay without a car! It’s by a highway and nothing is within walking distance. I had to Uber everywhere and couldn’t tell when booking it, as I was traveling out of state.

Although the was right off the main highway and our room was on 1st floor, it was fairly quiet and minimal highway sounds.

Convenient for my purpose and inexpensive. Photos from listing imply the rooms are carpeted; instead the floors are fake wood tiles. Not a good thing. Relatively quiet place. I wouldn't call what was available for breakfast satisfying. I would have appreciated juice.

The room was basic and adequately clean; there was only one trash can. There were no bedside plugs for charging electronics. There was no coffee or tea in the room. No cups or plates were provided in the kitchen area. But the most upsetting thing was that they advertise breakfast but only provided a "grab and go" that consisted of a few sugary granola bars, some sugary packaged muffins, and some packaged oatmeal. We counted on having breakfast, we paid for breakfast, we were in a hurry, and this was extremely disappointing and caused delays in our trip because we had to find a place that offered breakfast. They should be ashamed of themselves for advertising themselves as a place that offers breakfast. Most hotels and motels have a small 24 hour coffee bar with granola bars and serve an additional breakfast in the morning, which can be as little as some yogurts, bagels and cream cheese, cold cereal and milk. This is false advertising.

It was a nice, clean comfortable place to stay a few nights while I was at a conference. Vending and grab and go breakfast items were a bit limited but that wasn't really an issue for me as I had meals provided elsewhere and there was of course the kitchen in my room. Staff were pleasant and helpful

The room was clean but i did not like the smell and services. The shampoo was also not available when needed. When we ask for the towel we have to bring the used towel to front desk. Also breakfast as not enough just coffee and cupcakes.

everythink is fine, beds, bathrooms, cleanliness, building, etc., the only problema is the breakfast, because coffee and a cup cake is not a breakfast, need to change it.

Very friendly front office staff. Speedy and efficient check in process. The breakfast needs to be improve tremendously.

Front desk was very helpful I needed to receive a fax, sign it then return and staff helped me without question. Elevator out of service but was being worked on. A little disappointed about the”breakfast” not realizing it was grab and go. Overall it was a good stay

Breakfast was disappointing

It was sufficient for the price I was however not happy with the breakfast options, we booked here because it had breakfast included only to find out that breakfast consists of coffee, packaged muffins, Kellogg's cereal bars and Quaker oatmeal packets.
