The room itself was decent, but there was no microwave in the room. There was in the hallway to share. When I got up one morning, there were a pair of pants next to it! Both ladies at the desk when I checked in were busy on their phones. Afterwards, were helpful. Was a charge for breakfast the first day I stayed, but not the second. That was odd. Free water and coffee were nice amenities, though tasted like tap water and coffee was not particularly good either. Only non-dairy creamer. Hard to find anything good to eat other than fast food, in the neighborhood. I walked about a mile to Kung Food, which was good. Catholic Church within walking distance. I liked that. Walking disrance (though through a not so good part of town) to Great American Ballpark. If going to see another Reds game, would stay there again, but not wander out after dark.

Check-in was easy and effortless. Staff was pleasant. Two downfalls though: the bed was worn and hard in room 436. We could feel every bump in the bed. We went out to the pool once and found no clean towels in the clean towel bin. We asked the front desk to get two towels. She said she only had one but would bring more out. That never happened. We stayed in the pool for an hour and no one brought any towels out.

Had it not been for the outdoor pool we would not have stayed. The room was small, outdated. Toiletries were low or out and had not been restocked. Make-up remover wipes were old and smelled. Only one elevator worked and took forever.

Walking into the hotel i did expect what i foubd i side the room. Lobby and desk area are nice and neat. Room had dust and cob webs in the top corners of the room and dust on the ceiling. The walk in shower had what appeared to be mold. Found zip lock bags under the bed and the mattress was like sleeping on the floor. The hotel is definitely showing its age and cohld absolutely use a full make over.The area was nice for what we needed it for. But $11.49 a person for breakfast is a little crazy for the little they had to offer.

My bedding was not cleaned after the previous tenant. Blood seeped from the pillowcase through to the pillow, indicating that it had not been changed. The sheets were full of hair and dirt. The bathroom floor had hair in all of the corners. Stains ran down walls and doors. I got a new room and the door wouldn’t lock without pressing the door shut with every bit of force I had. Did not feel safe or clean. The lobby/coffee area had overflowing trash. Not worth the cost, not in a great area.

The room was not ready on time. They finally found us a room, but it wasn’t as clean as I would like. Still little stuff on the carpet, hair in the shower, and when we ran water to wash our hands, big blobs of hair came up from the pipes into the sink. How could that not been noticed by the maid? Either she didn’t take time to tell them the sink was stopped up, or they didn’t listen. I asked for another room but none available, so they sent someone up to fix it.(I was hoping for a quick nap before we had to get ready for a wedding, but that blew that.) The maintenance man was very nice, he fixed the problem, but said it needed a stopper put in, so he went and got that, put it in and left. I was busy ironing clothes for wedding and did not check if the sink worked with a stopper. It didn’t. They drain filled up fast and slowly drained. So, the next day I spoke to desk and asked for the room to be tidied up and the sink fixed. After being out all day, we came back to the same dirty room. I wanted to ask for a refund, but my husband said to live with it. And so I just thought about how people have way more problems than me, and thanked God. On the good side, the beds and pillows are wonderful, so I slept well and that was the whole point of the room.

the checkin process was not smooth, I called ahead of time asking if I could pay for the deposit with a different payment than what I was using to pay for the hotel, when I called they said yes when I got there the young lady didn't know how to do it nor did she try. The hotel is dated, not at all like the pics. The bathroom was nice, our fridge didn't work well and was not very cold, the keurig didn't work, the tv had 5 channels that worked out of a lot. It was just not what was expected for all the reviews and pictures online.

Have stayed at this hotel several times now. Checkin and out was smooth and easy, room was clean and we had no issues. Kristina at the front desk was a star as always. The only downside is the breakfast, its not complimentary and not close to be worth $10.95 they charge for it. Limited options and we went at 7 am when it says open at 6:30 and it wasnt completly set up and was luke warm at best for what was there.

Room was not clean and you could see where someone had wiped their fingers on the dust on the tv and desk in the room. Also when we checked in they didn't mention needing to add on for breakfast. When we went down for breakfast they asked us for a card which we didn't know was needed. The lady then went and talked to the front desk and said sorry you didn't purchase breakfast with your stay you can't eat it. Didn't even give us the option to purchase it just said we can't eat it.

We had a business trip delay by about 12 hours. My employee called the hotel to inform them of this and asked them to hold the room which we had booked for two nights. The person he had spoke to said that they would make a note and hold the room so when my employee got there 12 hours later, they had canceled our room and we’re full for the night even though we had called them 12 hours previously, they hold the room due to travel delays.

Not a great experience at all. We were only passing through for one night (thank God). First, check in time was 3:00, however, we didn’t get a room until 4:40. Then, my son went to use the restroom in the lobby where, apparently, someone had thrown up in the middle of the floor. Bathroom was small and had no ventilation.

I'm disappointed in the holiday inn. The key system was down and needed the front desk to manually open doors. And the hotel was sold out, so checking in was a nightmare. There was a wait to get escorted to the room. It was an inconvenience

Close to highways & restaurants, plenty of parking, quick check in & out. Bathroom shower could’ve been cleaner & the shower head dripped otherwise it was a good stay. Was a little iffy about neighborhood but didn’t have any issues.

We stayed here for the Bengals game. This hotel is conveniently next to, 2 trolley stops which will take you into Cincinnati for $1, children are free, and the ride is very short, about 5-10 minutes. The hotel staff is kind, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious. Their outside pool was well kept and clean! I don't know about the breakfast because we never woke up early enough. But no worries, there's a Waffle House across the street. Along with McDonald's, Burger King, Skyline Chili, and a pizzeria. If the fast food is not your thing, we ate at restaurants in Cincinnati, since it was a short $1 ride. We will definitely stay here again.

We were told by the attendant that we needed a “coupon” before we could eat at the breakfast bar? OK, this was our 3rd morning, and we were not asked this the first two days ? We got a “coupon” from the front desk and while we were eating we observed several new people coming to eat and NONE of them were asked for a “coupon” ???

Hotel and staff were good. We thought that breakfast was included, only to find out it was $8 at registration counter or $11 at breakfast counter. The food they served was less than what you get for a free Continental breakfast at other hotels.

Room phone did not work moldy shower, You have to pay for a continental breakfast which consists of over cooked breakfast potatoes watery powdered eggs and rubber sausage patties not to mention the cold biscuits and gravy a definite DO NOT STAY!!

The only disappointment was there was not breakfast accommodation. But there was a breakfast place across the street-WAFFLE HOUSE. @10.95 a person at the hotel, our best choice was WH. VA visiting Family in Cincinnati!

Room very clean, staff was nice. Close to The Red's Ballpark and super cheep trolley a block away from hotel. Vending machine was broken and coffee maker in the room did not work. Also, very surprised the continental breakfast was not free, fee of $10.95/person!
