All of the staff were attentive and professional. There was so much to do at the hotel that we had to remind ourselves to visit Fremont, Amsterdam, etc. We ate a variety of food at the hotel, played bingo, bowled, watched a movie and gambled.

Beautiful large pool, but no jacuzzi or spa. No microwave or refrigerator in the room. Restaurants are more limited but adequate. Entire staff friendly and room was large and clean. Also pool hours are limited (10-4:45)

Another great stay, great options for food, shopping, and entertainment. Friendly staff, clean, nice little gym, quiet pool area with plenty of room to lay out. Security always patrolling and checking all areas of the hotel. Its been a great stay the last three trips to Vegas.

We always enjoy coming to stay here every summer. Rooms are spacious and staff are friendly. They have a variety of fast food and restaurants. However, the swim times end too early for the summer. Also, there was a concert there and since it was outside, they closed the pool a couple of hours early on top of that. For the summer, Sunset should have their pool hours open later.

Stay here quite often , only thing parking garage is so far from main desk and then the rooms are far also . Put your hiking shoes on

Friendly staff, cleanliness, don't have to go far to shop or eat, pool was clean and relaxing, exercise room was small but never busy, plenty of parking with security patrolling. Enjoyed our stay, highly recommend!

This hotel had it all - multiple restaurants, a 24-hour restaurant, an affordable food court, a movie theater, a bowling alley, an arcade and a beautiful sports book. Staff at every turn were professional and friendly. Additionally, although it was February so the pool was closed, it did look beautiful!

The room could have been more cleaner. The room is extremely dated but the cleanliness could have made up for it. The carpet in my room was wet, unsure of the substance. And the toilet bowl wasn’t cleaned from the previous guests…

There were crumbs from someone else's stay still on the carpet. We were victims of a crime and we were forced to rent rooms at the Sunset Hotel and Casino. The Hotel Manager was very rude to us when part of our group wanted to return home early due to the issue. Hotel refused to refund unused portion of trip. We paid for rooms where no one stayed.

We needed to be in Henderson, for our son this was the closest hotel to stay in. I read the reviews on Expedia and they seemed good. We checked in late. The front desk girl Jaimie I asked about the late checkout and said NO it’s a 39 dollar charge till 1. Normal checkout is 11. The room was dark the hotel was not that busy and she put us in the furthest location from the elevator. The shower had no pressure and the drain was clogged and full of hair. One bath towel was in the room, for 2 people. Pillows were very hard as well. I can go on and on but as a Platinum member zero benefits. As a matter of fact when we checked in she said we should have gone directly through the hotel for more benefits???

I would like to say this is my favorite hotel. The shops and eateries are convenient, clean. the casino was rather smoky this trip? the room was not clean! It had dust everywhere and there was remnants of soap on side of tub, the tub surface was very slippery.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the casino and our guest room. It was easy to get to the downtown strip area. My husband enjoyed the beautiful sports book area and reasonably priced drinks; I enjoyed the well-equipped gym. We were in the area to visit family and are not gamblers but we enjoyed the lively atmosphere and dining options in the facility, as well as the convenient location to dining, shopping and attractions.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Sunset Station. Rooms are comfortable and staff is great. Very accommodating. If you stay pick a room on a higher floor the casino is Smokey.

Our view was a WALL! 6 Days, staring at a wall, (Room 424). We tried to change rooms, and the hotel originally confirmed we could change, but then they realized since we booked thru hotels.com they could not make any changes. I reached out immediately to hotels.com , they contacted the hotel and within that 20 minutes the hotel said they were out of rooms.. hmm.. As for the pool. You cannot bring water unless it is a sealed plastic bottle. 1) When it's 107°, your water is only going to stay cold for 10 minutes. 2) Women specifically should NOT drink water that has been in plastic in the sun, it increases your risk of cancer. Also, one of the days they closed the pool before noon and sent all their employees home because they saw lighting, so we couldn't swim, and lastly.. you can't even go sit out at the pool when they are closed.

The Sunset Station Hotel and Casino was extremely reasonably priced and provided excellent service from staff. However, I do not recommend that you stay in an adjoining room as the doors between the rooms must be very thin and not soundproof, we could hear loud television in late night hours and did not get good sleep.

Internet service in the room was abysmal. Functional service in the lobby/restaurant areas, etc; but non-functional in the room on the 21st floor…and Staff did not seem to care. Bathroom supplies of body wash is minimalistic… Breakfast restaurant under staffed.

Huuuge hotel! Very pretty! Old, but nice. Rooms are spacious and a walk to the casino. No microwave, coffee maker or refrigerator in the room. That was disappointing! A little dated, for sure. Not enough outlets or any usb plugs in the room. Sheets had pilling on them, never seen that before in a hotel.

Arrives 4pm, room was ready until 7:30pm and all i received was 20% of food. Girl at front desk was empathetic and apologetic but was also overwhelmed as she was the only person there with a long line.

Check-in was excellent. I appreciated the professional and friendly staff. This was a great mini getaway to visit my daughter in Henderson. Nice restaurants on site, the Oyster Bar and Italian restaurants were lovely. Also, several restaurants within walking distance. Will be back again soon with family for a longer stay. Everything just right at your fingertips. Movie theater, bowling, arcades. Kudos!!!

Upon check-in in I was treated like a high roller. It made me feel so nice, as it had been a long day on the road. The hotel, casino, restaurants, and rooms were all clean and well taken care of. We worked so hard to get there before the pool closed at 7 pm, but unfortunately, it was closed early because of the windstorm that had come through. We checked it out before we left the next morning, and it was beautiful. Wished we had the time to swim before we had to leave.

Restaurant service at Brass Fork was horrible, waited over 45 minutes for our food only for our server to come and tell us she didn’t put our order in, to compensate served us cold stale donuts. Manager was no help and told us we got free donuts for the wait. Beds were rock hard, asked for an upgrade and was told all beds are the same make and model. There was also a homeless person sitting in the lobby area for 2 days very uncomfortable feeling at casino. Needed some medicine and the gift shop was already closed, thinking since it’s a casino it would be open late.

I’ve been to Sunset before but this was the first time I’ve ever stayed at this hotel. This has to be my favorite hotel while in Vegas. It’s local, has great restaurants and it’s located in a good shopping area.

Great location and safe. A lot of nice places to eat and things to do. Bowling, billiards, movie theater, kid's area, and casino. Easy to get to from the airport. A lot of great shopping, restaurants, across the street. Not far from Las Vegas strip.

This hotel/casino is fine. Nothing special and nothing awful. There a ton bof restaurant options but they all close at 10pm. I know it was March so maybe that's why the pool hours were sporadic as well? Express check in & out were very nice and all members of staff that I interacted with were wonderful. The one major issue I had-as a woman traveling solo,I do wish they had asked if I would have been ok with the room having an adjoining door to the room next door.
