When we arrived we were told the pool was not able to be used due to a needed repair. One of the elevators was out of service and the main floor ice machine was also out of order. Maybe we just picked a bad night to stay…

The hotel was under renovation which was not known until we pulled into the parking lot. Construction materials, workers, guests and smokers all shared the same side entrance and parking was limited by the construction laydown area. Should have discounted the rate for putting up with this mess. Did have a recently renovated room which was nice

This hotel was a remodeling mess in mid June ‘23. Lobby and breakfast areas closed and unpleasant makeshift spaces substituted. Some glass at end of parking area where temporary entrance relocated. Unrelated- shower was luke warm (water was hot the following morning). Guess what- no mention of any if this on Orbitz and no reduction in price.

Disappointed with the fact prooerty was booked because it had indoor pool and upon arrival advised it was closed. Not offered any discount upon not being able to use it and nothing sent advising in advance it wouldnt be avail. Adter driving 9 hrs we were looking forward to using it. In addition room was very noisy. We were woke up several times by slamming doors which seemed to have bern from office/ kitchrn possibly. A good nights sleep was necessary as we had another 10 hrs to drive! Coffee tasted like it had sat for hours, terrible. Would not stay here again.

Il nous offert de changer d'hotel mais la procédure était de vous contacter pour se faire rembourser. Un peu compliqué après 13 heures de voiture. On a donc décidé de rester à cette hotel finalement.

This property is old and in need of updates. The bathroom had no exhaust fan and it was taking a toll on the walls and door from the steam when using the shower. The lock on the door was loose and not very secure. The bathroom needs repair; ie caulking around the tub and surrounding area. The cubbies where they put the towels was so high I couldn’t reach it (I’m 5’ 5”) I had my pet with me and their site nor Expedia showed they charge a $75 pet fee. Also there is no place to purchase snacks or drinks other than the vending machines which only take cash. Disappointing for a Hilton property for sure.

The front desk person looked age 12 and acted as such. She was the most unprofessional hotel desk clerk I have ever encountered. Slumped over her computer while we were checking in. Stopped checking us in to communicate with the loud facilities worker who walked up and abruptly interrupted to fuss about something. No name tags on anyone there!!! The hallways were filthy dirty. The outside entrance to the hotel was so dirty I had to turn around and make sure the sign said Hampton Inn! The landscaping was in bad shape and cigarette butts all over the breezeway entry. Cigarette post was filthy. Breakfast was okay but counters were filthy. People spilling waffle batter and it was smeared everywhere and no one there to clean it up. The other front desk people were unkept and dressed in graphic tees. No name tags. The room was satisfactory. Clean. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone.

Not only was this my first stay at a pet friendly hotel, but being right off 81, I was a little skeptical. It turned out to be great! It was very clean, the room was big & comfy, there was an abundance of towels and there was a nice selection for the free breakfast. The woman who checked me in was kind and the entire place itself seemed safe. I pass through VA a couple times a year on road trips and I will certainly be staying here again.

I purposely got a room with a tub however the listing didn’t mention the built in ADA seat that would have made it difficult to soak comfortably. On top of that, the tub faucet dripped all night, the fridge needed to be defrosted and didn’t work, and unfortunately I didn’t realize until the middle of the night that the heater was blowing cold air and my room got down to 64°. I politely informed the front desk out checkout and was simply told that they would let management know and to have a nice day.

We stayed for one night on a road trip from Asheville, NC on our way back to Maryland. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The free breakfast was good and had a variety of hot and cold foods. The staff was friendly and helpful. At the front desk was a list of recommended restaurants and we went to The Harbor Inn Seafood restaurant nearby and had outstanding seafood meals.
