Have had an excellent stay. Some debris near room outdoors, bedspread had a tear in it and was not replacement upon check-in. Sauna permanently closed. Other ammenities in good repair and enjoyed my stay.

We got a really dirty bathroom but they did change rooms for us, one of blankets were dirty in new room. Pool, and saunas were closed and all equipment in gym were not working and the amenities is why we got hotel.

The room had a lot of holes where things used to be and they were not putted up or painted, The saunas do not work, The pools were very dirty at the bottom. The hot tub was very rusty and very many of the tile in the pools were broken.

Staff was super helpful and friendly! Room was comfy, beds/bedding were soft and nice! Same with pillows. The pool was cool for smaller kids with a kid area and a fountain ⛲️ 😀 the hot tub was very nice and the bigger pool also was nice and warm. The kid pool area water could be a little warmer though, as the big pool was a great temperature. We enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

I when is very disappointed that the indoor swimming pool hot tub and saunas were closed. The sun is were closed last time I was there. I go to this location for those amenities, so I was pretty disappointed.

The property was outdated - it needed to be cleaned up and there were several broke down rigs in the parking lot. the hot tub was not hot, just warm, no towels in the pool area and the out side dog area garbage can was overflowing the entire time we were there.

Our room was in poor condition- stains on the carpet, torn wallpaper on almost every wall, loose outlets, holes in bed sheets, very thin walls & could hear neighbors and outside noise all night… the hot tub was not hot, only luke warm… there was a homeless camp on the outside fence of property… not at all what we expected from a Wyndham owned property

The hot tub was mildly warm not hot but it worked fine. The pool was fine but too deep for no lifeguard. The room was hot even with the A/C set to 60. The only way to cool it was to open the windows fully, which limited our privacy. The food options are by far the best part of this location. We left a night early because the bed felt like sleeping on rocks. It was far too painful.

Room was dark and dinghy. Lots of noise from highway. Windows not sound proof. Carpets filthy and floor very squeaky. Bathroom old - rails rusted, towel holder above toilet missing a bar so bath towel fell into toilet and no towels available to replace so had to use hand towels after shower. Ironing board behind door was covered in thick dust - probably never cleaned. Dirt in corners Definitely not worth the price we paid. Sheet was on bed inside out and top sheet was paper thin so felt like nothing between blanket and body. Only positive was bed was comfortable and fridge has a separate freezer compartment to refreeze ice packs for our cooler. Overall not a pleasant stay. Don’t recommend

The air conditioning unit was so loud you couldn't hear anything else. Had to kill bugs daily. No breakfast available, just coffee, juice, and granola bars. The room was very plain. The dark carpets made it easy to see that the edges weren't vacuumed and left the bottom of your feet black. Only basic tv channels. The only good thing to say was the staff was pleasant.

I knew it didn’t have a bunch of stars and I selected it for price. It was run down a bit. It was not a place where I would want to use the pool. For sure. My room was run down and there was plenty that was falling apart but it was pretty clean except for the tub, which had a bunch of hair in it. The carousel on the microwave didn’t work but it did heat food. There was a piece of loose trim on the fridge cabinet. But the bed was clean and comfy and I slept well.

Our room was dirty. After swimming we came back to shower and there were short black hairs on the shower surround like someone shaved and smacked their razor on the surround. We were definitely clean when we got into bed and there was dirt or crumbs under the sheets, and one of the pillow had visible dirt and thin black hair like eyelashes. I also stepped in something sticky on the carpet that wasnt from us. It was disappointing.

the rooms had filthy linens and even worse restrooms. my bathtub had actual blood in the bottom that had dried and turned black and was flaking off into powder. after I canceled that same day at check-in they charged my anyway and it took 2 weeks to get a refund.

We just needed a cheap place to stay for a night on a motorcycle trip, and this fit the bill. The hotel is nothing to look at from the outside, and is absolutely no-frills. I wouldn’t normally rate a place like this, except for one thing — the bed. I’ve had lower back pain for ages, and it has been getting worse. After sleeping on this bed, I woke up with no back pain for the first time in so long that I had forgotten what it felt like! Amazing! So if you need a decent place to stay in the Salem area and have back pain, I highly recommend staying here.

The key card would not work. I would have to get a new key to enter the room every day. The internet is essentially dial-up. If someone was using the same IP, another person could not use it. Staying overnight is feasible to save money, but no more than that.

At first the area looked a little sketchy. But the room was in better shape than I thought. Other than the ugly motel carpet, it was in pretty good shape. The bed was very comfortable for the stay. I’d stay here again on an overnight.

You can hear the highway traffic from in the room. The walls are thin so you can hear the people next to you talking throughout the night, and we had kids screaming and running past the room both nights we were there. The tub was peeling, the floor and top comforter on both beds had some spots on them.

This is a clear example of poor management driven by greed. The owner neglected to maintain the property and failed to hire enough staff. Despite the place being fairly booked with many cars in the lot, only one staff member was there to handle both repairs and front desk duties. She had to lock the check-in office to go and change light bulbs, leaving at least three families waiting to be checked in upon her return. Despite being efficient, she was clearly overburdened. The room itself was dirty and in disrepair—the sink was clogged, there was a hole in the wall, the bedding felt unclean, the carpet was filthy, and the room had a cheap artificial scent likely masking unpleasant odors. Having stayed at Days Inn before, this location is well below standard.

Didn't know until after we made reservations that there was a shooting there recently. Area is very secluded and I was honestly glad I wasn't staying there alone. Otherwise ok, quiet enough for next to a freeway and the employees seemed helpful. Just in a sketchy area.

I liked the location because you're next to Denny's (it is literally across the parking lot) and Fred Myers...and a FEW others. What i did not like about the area is the amount of people that sermed to be tweaked out and trying to talk to you as soon as your car stops asking for cash. We had to call and ask for an officer to help at one point. With that being said, all in all i liked the hotel. The beds are FIRM and they have 4 "small" pillows on each bed. My daughter was out within seconds lol. The staff are really kind and friendly. The ones we met tried to be as helpful as possible. If i need to stay in Salem again, I will book with them, only because the pluses out numbered the neg.

Just off the 5 at Market, Dennys on the corner, Fred Myers just past Denny's with inexpensive gas. The east of 5 parallel road has lots of dining, shopping, and entertainment businesses.

Check in was quick and room was clean. The location is a bit sketch, we ended up getting a room in the very last building and the parking lot was interesting and almost felt a bit unsafe. There was a lot of noise as previously mentioned and at one point did get a bit worried. Over all it was ok.

Came and stayed the night for the State Fair. For a simple hotel room, it met expectations and price. Check-in was super easy as well as check out. Indoor pool was available for use. The one thing that could have made it better, would be complimentary breakfast.

Good budget hotel! Definitely hasn’t been updated in a while, but it is clean, spacious, and convenient. Only bummer was that the breakfast menu advertised in the room is not currently happening. They have complimentary granola bars and juice which is totally fine… but they got me all excited about the waffle bar only to realize it didn’t exist.
