Beautiful property and rooms. Make sure your key gets you in the garage, had to pay for parking on the way out when I was already charged for it. Otherwise definitely would stay again!

I stayed at this hotel for a track meet,. I was having trouble sleeping because I was itching. Got up to go get some thing to snack on in the lobby. When I came back upstairs to my room, there were bedbugs. I took some downstairs to show the front desk the young man that was there was very attentive, however, after that, the assistant manager was not pleasant at all, and tried to make it like I had done something wrong. She felt as though refunding my money paying for parking and one meal, which was an omelette that I got for breakfast to Refund should be. She was nasty when I was talking to her in the lobby and she was nasty in the email that she sent me letting me know that they , removed all the charges from my credit card. That is not enough that whole hotel. All 10 floors need to be exterminated professionally doing just one room which they did not do is not going to do anything they’re just gonna jump from room to room. Seeing the airlines stewardess and the pilot in the lobby, I wanted to say something so bad but I did not. But I feel as though everyone should know that this hotel has bedbugs and they’re not doing anything to rectify it. They fail as though comping a room for one night is OK and it’s not beware

I went to check in at the hotel that was prebooked so we thought. When getting to the room it was a single instead of a double. Also there was a mildew smell heavily in the room. Also the air conditioner did not work so we burned up all night long. This experience was the wirst.

I will say, the staff at this hotel is AMAZING!!! Several of the people that I talked to were very nice. It must be that southern hospice that I’m just not used to up north. 😂 I ended up having to switch rooms due to the air-conditioning and a need for a walk-in shower due to an injury. The staff immediately was able to get me assigned to a new room. In fact, I didn’t even need to come to the front desk to make this request. Now, I can be a stickler when it comes to hotels and I do pay attention to the minor details. The rooms need to be renovated. There’s a lot of chipped paint, severe cracks, discoloration throughout the room and mild bubbling/water damage in the ceiling in the bathrooms. To me, paying attention to this level of detail as a hotel can really just contribute to the comfortability of your guests. And id think most of that kind of stuff would be an easy fix. Just my recommendation.

I stayed here for 6 nights. My elderly mother was with me. We had a handicap accessible room which had a sizable bath easy for using mobility helps. Higher toilet but a regular bath tub w/ hand held and overhead shower. She was not able to step over into the tub. No seat. The lighting was dimmer than normal. Beds were great. Room was quiet. I liked the entry recessed light as a night light for her.

We didn’t have breakfast there. The room was clean enough but the decor was strange. The coffee rack was strange and the picture over the bed looked like a piece of carpet. It was really strange!

I love the property but the two bar staff that worked at the bistro. My husband sat and waited for them to finish a conversation with another person (which they were aware he was standing there) when there conversation was over the continued to pay him no mind, carry on side conversations and walked to the back as he was attempted to say something. Luckily there was another staff on board who immediately came out greeted my husband and took our order without any hesitation. I get we all can get caught in the midst of side convos but excellent customer service should always be a priority hopefully these young ladies will not exhibit such behavior in the future.

The hotel itself was fine as far as a stay for a soccer tournament goes. Good food in the restaurant. However, I wasn’t impressed by the less than helpful staff. They charged me for parking when I didn’t have a car, and refused to refund me for a night that I wasn’t there even though I told them I wouldn’t make it as soon as I knew my flight got cancelled and I wouldn’t be there until the next day.

Great staff, from front desk to the bistro and lounge. Check in was easy and delightful, the desk clerk waa fabulous. If seeing a show at The Tanger Center, this is the place to stay....maybe a 3 minute walk, perfect!

The hotel was average overall. We came to Greensboro for a three day music festival outside the hotel’s front door. The first three people at the front desk knew little to nothing about Greensboro Folk Fest 2023. The food and beverage was ridiculously overpriced for what it was. Housekeeping was non existent during our three night stay; but they knocked on our door at 9:30 the morning of check out! The hotel was clean and central to our activities- in that regard it was fine. Really nothing about this Marriott was a stand out. It did not meet or exceed our expectations in any way.

The downtown location is very convenient to get all around the city. The staff were helpful and pleasant. Nice bar room and fun cocktails. Our room even had a great shower!
