A nice a basic room with all the amenities you need for a short stay. The parking garage across the street is a huge plus!

Location is not the best, pay parking is across the street, and a little pricey

No parking facilities. The nearest car park available can be accessed by walking almost half a km. I had to carry and walk all the way to the hotel and backforth especially under the scorching sun.

This is a nice hotel. Very clean and the staff are friendly. There’s a complimentary breakfast of bagels, yogurt, coffee. The location is quiet but still close to downtown for shopping and food. The only downside is the parking. It’s in a pay garage across the street, and it’s a bit difficult to get back into to get your car. Overall a very good experience and I would stay here again.

We stayed here while attending Osheaga Music Fest. It's an easy walk from Berri-uQAM station. You take the metro from there- direct to the festival. There is an underground parking lot directly across the street from the hotel. $20/ 24 hours. The entire city area is under construction - so the street is down to one way. This isn't the hotels fault and we had no problem getting in or out. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room and bathroom were clean and the beds were super comfortable. That's all we needed! We were exhausted from the day. The rooms are on the smaller size. The whole hotel is- it's an older place. The room and bathroom had been updated. The carpets in the hallways need to be replaced. So if you aren't looking for fancy but a clean, convenient place to stay- this fits.

Property was Ina good location. Issue was the construction taking place right in front of the hotel. Also, the air conditioning could be much better and the breakfast room much bigger. Overall a good location with renovated clean rooms but improvements can be made.

Location of hotel was ideal in gay friendly neighborhood, poor A/C with no in room control of temperature, no ice available, rude staff, public parking garage across the street for about $15/day.

Room and bathroom clean and bed and bedding comfortable. Quiet. Coffee machine excellent, breakfast minimal. Central location close to metro, parks, interesting areas. Parking at going rate across the street.

For what is worth, this place has everything you need and is conveniently located. Breakfast was pretty good as there was a bit of variety. Cleaniness can be improved as the hallway and room smelt funky (probably from the carpet). We had to crack open the window and leave the fan on for air to circulate the room, alleviating the smell. The location is a bit questionable but we still relatively felt safe and it was accessible to restaurants, the metro and bus lines nearby. Overall, it's a good place to stay for a few days.

Carpets smell. Needs new toilets and washroom floors need a lift.

Stayed one night on a quick pit stop. Bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was meh. Shower curtain was too long, so the bottom was covered in mold. Cracked tiles all over the bathroom floor. Shower sounded like a squealing pig - I felt bad for the neighbours. Felt like a converted apartment building with wood framing - you could hear everything in the hall. Good sleep, but I would never stay here for the experience!

Room was uncomfortably hot with no way of lowering the temperature.

Everything was good. The only problem was that there was no thermostat in the room to control the temp and it was super hot in the room. Almost 25 C. The vent was in the ceiling and I was suggested to get on the chair to close it.

It was very noisy. I could hear the people next room chatting. I also heard the clerk's chit chatting at the front desk. It was hard to fall asleppe. Very very noisy

Lady at the desk very friendly great service. Did not sleep the first night party in the next room until 5:30 am. Has to call the front desk twice but noise continued. Got sleep the next two nights. Will not stay hear again will spend the extra to have a more comfortable stay. Walls at this hotel were paper thin.

The young team of the staff runs the Hotel very nice and in the professional manner.

After Lelux across the street left me high and dry, the staff at Econo Lodge were a breath of fresh air. They allowed me to store my bags over night, despite my booking being for the following night. They allowed me to collect items from my stored bags part way through the night without question or hassle. The following morning, after hearing about my ordeal across the street the day before, the kind lady at the desk allowed me to check in extra early. All around quality and professional service from everyone I dealt with at this location.

The room was clean and though we were leaving early in the morning, the staff provided us with some breakfast even though it wasn’t time for it yet.

The stay at Econo Logde was very good. The room was small and clean, had all the necessary amenities. The check-in and check out procedures were quick and smooth. Staff was super friendly.The hotel is nearby to a metro station, was easy to access the public transportation. The only issue was the road was under construction on which the hotel is located. Other than that, my overall stay was excellent for 2 nights.

Hotel is not convenient at all. Property has construction right out front making parking confusing. Had to call the hotel for clarification because it looks like the road is closed to the hotel. No prior warning about the construction was provided. The room was well kept but very small. Only suitable for a one night stay, wouldn’t recommend for longer. They provide you with an ice bucket but there are no ice machines. There is a vending machine that says it takes cards but it doesn’t. There is no option for bills, bring coins, preferably quarters as most loonies are rejected. The room had a great size mini fridge but no microwave. Bathroom looks newly renovated but definitely done as a landlord special. Hallway and stairways make it look like a dive, completed with puke and blood stains. Wifi works really well, shockingly. The one clerk was friendly and professional however her counterpart was useless and couldn’t be bothered to make pleasantries with the guests. She preferred to stay sitting on the counter and look annoyed that you were checking in. If you ask the one worker for help she will blankly stare at you and just point to the one woman who was doing literally everything.

Service at the desk was great. I had a problem with my first room and they moved me immediately, no questions asked. Clean and comfortable. A really good budget option.

Great location. The front desk staff was excellent. Professional and warm. The room was clean. Everything worked well. My stay has dxceeded my expectations for this type of hotel given a competitor I stayed at in another city 5 days earlier. Would stay again.

The staff were amazingly good dealing with both of us who did not French . They helped us all the time . The rooms were well equipped and very clean The experience has made us highly recommend this setting to others It was a very good choice to stay there

We had a good two-night stay at the Econo Lodge. It's a walkable neighbourhood near transit options and other attractions in Montreal. The hotel room was kept clean. Minimal amenities, but expected for a budget hotel option in the city. Staff were always kind and respectful.

The hotel is budget for sure. On the morning after my first night, I asked the desk attendent on the way out to service the room, providing her the number. I returned later in the afternoon to find it had not been serviced. I informed the new desk clerk. When I came back again a "do not disturb" sign was on the door. The room had not been cleaned. I went to the desk. The guy said it wasn't cleaned because of the sign on the door. Since I didn't put the sign there, I can assume it was put there so the room couldn't be serviced. The desk clerk said housekeeping had left for the day and I was out of luck. I asked that he send some fresh towels up. Ready for it...they never arrived. If you want service and cleanliness this is not the hotel for you.

Location is central to metro. Easy to get to and from airport. Very helpful and nice staff. Affordable.

Smooth check in. Location is great

The property is very close to the Subway hub at Berri-UQAM so it was easy to get around without a car. The neighbourhood is a little run down but on the other hand there were lots of good restaurants close by. The room was a little small but was comfortable.

A comfortable stay. Bus station 7 min. walk from the hotel to the 747 bus going to the airport. Also using the same bus Station coming in from Quebec City.

Clean hotel. A also liked that it was close to the metro so I could get to anywhere I wanted. If you prefer walking it’s only a 25 minute walk to old port. Overall ill recommend, it’s affordable, clean and close to everything

Hotel looks like it's undergoing renovation. It's in a great location.

The place in itself is very clean and I would go back anytime. It's well located, near the main bus station and the metro. The staff is pleasat, and I also appreciated the breakfeast. However, as a woman traveling alone, I didn't feel totally safe to walk the neighbourhood at night.

It’s a fine hotel in Montreal, nothing stands out but nothing makes it a poor choice either. For the money, it would be hard to find anything better in the city. The breakfast selection and the room for it (which seats about 6 comfortably) could easily be upgraded to make this place stand out a bit more.

Pros: we got a quiet little room facing the back with windows that open. Clean beds and updated bathroom. Plenty of towels. Receptionists were all very friendly and helpful. Cons: although very well stocked the breakfast area was extremely small and crowded.

Its a good hotel to stay at for a night or two. Complimentary breakfast and coffee was nice, pretty simple but worked for us (toast, cereal, yoghurt, juice). Room and bathroom seemed clean. There is paid parking across the street in a garage. Would stay here again.

Location is excellent. The room was clean. The staff were nice. However, the dining room was a bit small, and the breakfast was very simple. Overall, it is good.

The breakfast was ok, had basic choices. Transportation is convenient for train station and shopping street. I like the hot drink choices, and had enjoyed the cappuccino and hot chocolate.
