Sehr netter Empfang. Hilfsbereit. Direkt am Geschehen aber trotzdem ruhig. Zimmer sauber und modern. Alles fußläufig erreichbar. Parkplatz der angemietet werden kann, sind gut und sicher. Werden es wieder buchen, sollten wir nochmal nach Hamburg fahren. Nur zu empfehlen 👍👍👍

Wir waren für eine Nacht , zwecks Veranstaltung in diesem Hotel. Wir wurden nett empfangen und haben unkompliziert eingecheckt. Wir hatten ein „ruhiges“ Zimmer gebucht und haben eines mit Blick auf den Hof bekommen . Es war ruhig, sauber und nett eingerichtet . An der Bar haben wir abends noch gesessen und ein Aperol getrunken . Der geschmacklich und preislich absolut top ist . Das Frühstück war gut , ich fand den Hinweis mit der Ampel sehr genial, wann es am stärksten oder schwächsten besucht ist . Der Parkplatz ist zu befahren bis 19:00 Uhr weil dann die poller zur Sperrung der großen Freiheit hochgefahren werden . Ab 6:00 Uhr morgens kann man mit dem Auto wieder raus fahren sagte man uns . Wir waren absolut zufrieden und empfehlen das Hotel , allein auch wegen der absolut coolen Lage , sehr gern weiter ;)

Ett lite gömt hotell, goggle Maps visar lite fel. Ligger mitt i festarkvarteret. Känslan var sådär när vi ankom, men hotellet hade bra standard trots 3 stjärnor. Boka gärna parkering annars kan det bli problem att hitta en i närhet till hotellet.

Ingen siddepladser til den sparsomme morgenmad. Fik værelse til baggården hvor der slæbes affald og glas hele natten og hvor der ryges så værelset uden aircon ikke kunne have vinduet åbent. Der var skohorn - desværre istykker. Betalte 16euro per nat for parkering. Vi afrejste en dag før tid på trods af at vi havde forudbetalt for 2 nætter. Kommer ikke igen.

Das St Joseph Hotel liegt idyllisch in einem Hinterhof der grossen Freiheit; noch mehr Reeperbahn pur geht nicht. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, tut gut daran, sich vorher telefonisch einen Parkplatz zu reservieren. Ausserdem sollte man bedenken, das die grosse Freiheit von abends bis morgens für den Durchgangsverkehr gesperrt wird. Wer also abends mit dem eigenen Auto zum Theater will, sollte langfristig planen. Alternativ dazu kostet ein Ticket mit den öffentlichen z.b. zum Theater Neue Flora etwa 3,10 € pro Person, ein Taxi für zwei liegt für den gleichen Weg bei etwa 10 € und ist deutlich entspannter. Das Frühstücksbuffet im St Joseph ist vom Angebot her eher übersichtlich (2-3 Sorten Käseaufschnitt, 3-4 Wurstsorten, Kaffee u.ä. aus der Maschine) aber immer frisch, appetitlich und qualitativ gut sowie jederzeit ausreichend vorhanden. Ein Obstkorb mit rund-um-die-Uhr frischen Früchten rundet das Ganze noch kulinarisch ab (Daumen hoch dafür). Das Personal ist sehr professionell und serviceorientiert und der Empfang 7x24 besetzt. Alles in Allem ein empfehlenswertes Hotel, beide Daumen hoch.

Es war alles sauber und insgesamt sehr angenehm. Nettes Personal und gutes Frühstück. Trotz der Lage war es bei ubs immer Zimmer 406 recht ruhig. Bei geschlossenem Fenster hat man gar nichts gehört. Positiv überrascht hat mich auch die Auswahl an Gefügelaufschnitt beim Frühstück.

I booked two rooms with 3 beds in each. When we arrived, we were told that we were given two rooms with one bed each and that a cot would be fit into the very small space, and that if we didn’t like it we could go elsewhere. The check in person also told us we had to separate into rooms based on gender, and snapped at me to get me to come to the front later on. The rooms were filthy, there was pee in the toilet in one room when we arrived and visible excretions on the wall above the bed. It’s also to be noted that the surrounding area is extremely loud overnight and loud club music shakes the rooms until 8am. The other staff members during our stay were more helpful, but I felt really disrespected at check in. The rooms were also not cheap, so I would’ve expected to at least get what was reserved.

Hotellet passer meget godt med billeder mv - ældre, men i OK stand. Værelset vi havde var lidt lille det samme med bad. Vi var der en sommerdag og værelserne har ikke aircondition - og støj fra gaden, hvis man have åbne vinduer. Så det var meget varmt! Enkelt morgenmad med lidt brød, pålæg, ost, kaffe og juice - samt scrambled og kogte æg. Fint, men ikke prangende.

Hotellet ligger midt på Reeperbahn, så centralt hvis man er til fods. S og U-bahn afgår indenfor få hundrede meter. Hvis man ikke er til lidt larm i gaden, så skal man vælge et andet hotel. Hotellet er pænt og rent, tydeligvis nyrenoveret. Morgenmaden er inkluderet, og fremstår med en overdådig morgenbuffet, Der hele tiden bliver suppleret.

We understood the area of Hamburg in which we were staying, so the comments and score for the area around the property will never be 5-star. However, we do expect levels of customer service, cleanliness, and that what has been described is being delivered. These weren’t and the rating scores reflect this. The hotel mentions this for some rooms, so we chose and paid a premium for a quiet room that did not give this warning. Well, after settling into bed we were awoken by nightclubs and street noise that continued through the night. I contacted Hotels.com to report and they suggested that I dressed and complain to reception. I was in bed. I’d been missold. I expected them to make my complaint. I didn’t expect either a room change or a hotel change, or the nightlife to be stopped at 01.00. Hotels.com offered a refund. This has yet to be processed. The room was basic. Customer service at reception was poor - we waited 15 minutes to be checked in. Buyer beware - both in respect of the hotel and the supposed Gold service through Hotels.com. The recent Expedia, Bookings, Hotels etc changes have not left me impressed so far in my regular travels. The photo shows the road view of the hotel to the left.

The hotel mentions this for some rooms, so we chose and paid a premium for a quiet room that did not give this warning. Well, after settling into bed we were awoken by nightclubs and street noise that continued through the night. I contacted Hotels.com to report and they suggested that I dressed and complain to reception. I was in bed. I’d been missold. I expected them to make my complaint. I didn’t expect either a room change or a hotel change, or the nightlife to be stopped at 01.00. Hotels.com offered a refund. This has yet to be processed. The room was basic. Customer service at reception was poor - we waited 15 minutes to be checked in. Buyer beware - both in respect of the hotel and the supposed Gold service through Hotels.com. The recent Expedia, Bookings, Hotels etc changes have not left me impressed so far in my regular travels. The photo shows the road view of the hotel to the left.

The room was really nice, with everything you need for a short stay. The gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. We arrived around 1 pm and were able to check in right away, which was a great start. Me and a friend booked this hotel for our birthday weekend and were definitely not disappointed! WOW! The staff (guys) are amazing in service and helped out with whatever we needed help with! So happy and friendly all the time. On our birthday one of the guys gave us a bottle of sparkling wine, balloons, birthday song and a cake! Thank you so much again! It’s a really good location, in the middle of everything. The room was very clean and the bathroom very fresh! We got a room with windows facing the party street and it didn’t disturb at all when we had the windows closed. We didn’t try the breakfast because we’re hangover every morning haha. I don’t know if it’s a thing in Germany or just the hotel’s policy but we had a friend visiting us in the room and we had to pay €20 for him and he had to register at the reception. Strange and I think it’s too much. It’s also our first time visiting Hamburg but for sure not the last! 1/6-5/6-2023

Hotellet passer meget godt med billeder mv - ældre, men i OK stand. Værelset vi havde var lidt lille det samme med bad. Vi var der en sommerdag og værelserne har ikke aircondition - og støj fra gaden, hvis man have åbne vinduer. Så det var meget varmt! Enkelt morgenmad med lidt brød, pålæg, ost, kaffe og juice - samt scrambled og kogte æg. Fint, men ikke prangende.

Es war alles sauber und insgesamt sehr angenehm. Nettes Personal und gutes Frühstück. Trotz der Lage war es bei ubs immer Zimmer 406 recht ruhig. Bei geschlossenem Fenster hat man gar nichts gehört. Positiv überrascht hat mich auch die Auswahl an Gefügelaufschnitt beim Frühstück.
