Internet was not reliable. Made working difficult unless you paid for the upgrade. Sauna and hot tub out of order entire stay. Laundry service not available even if sent before the drop off time. A lot of back and forth to the front desk verses them coming to you for things. Laundry is cash quarters only. You will pay 4.00 ATM fees to get your 5.00 for your laundry load. Would be nice to have upgraded laundry systems available to be used with a card. Staff was polite.

The parking garage needs to be updated. Very tight for getting in and out. The shuttle for downtown was a plus. The breakfast was super. The front desk staff was very helpful. Definitely coming back.

Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Pillows are too flat. Air at 65 degrees felt more like 73 degrees. Self Parking is $30 per night and parking garage is extremely small, tight spaces; i would not take a big suv or truck in parking garage.

The only thing is the guest self-parking area should be free. Valet parking the guest should pay for, definitely. However, for the Guest self-parking in the garage has very close and too, tight spaces. The lighting in the garage definitely needs improvement to assist the guest for self-parking see the small and tight spaces better, for both day and definitely at night. Otherwise, great experience and exceptional breakfast 👌.

Very nice hotel, the staff were very friendly, the hotel shuttle is a bonus which takes you within a 2-mile radius which includes downtown Broadway. The breakfast was amazing and the happy hour + snacks is always nice. The hotel was in a quiet area of Nashville. I would definitely stay here again. If you use the shuttle, please tip the drivers :)

The overall cleaning appearance of the room was not good. There were stains on the bathroom door, in the shower, and on the bathroom floor. We used the glasses on the first day and they were never washed. The smell of the room was quite disturbing. Also, we hope the hotel considers adding more sound insolation, with all the bars around, the noise in the early morning disrupts the sleep.

Room smelled like mold. Iron didn’t work, called down to get a replacement - found one in back but said I needed to come get it or wait until after 7 am and someone could bring it up. I thought I may have to extend my trip, went to the front desk around 8 pm, waited for 10 minutes - finally 2 employees came from back….sorry they don’t take reservations. I would need to make an on-line reservation, then call the front desk and they could apply it to my room. Needless to stay, I decided to stay elsewhere……seemed very understaff the 2 days I was there. Valet parking didn’t open until 7:00 am, had to wait 10 minutes

Not too far from Downtown Broadway area and they have a shuttle which is great! Check in guy was not happy or friendly didn't seem to like his job, but everyone else we encountered were super friendly from the food service, shuttle drivers and the valet were all very helpful. Only negative, I am picky about bathrooms being spotless, I do not like to see mold in showers and there were spots of mold or in need of caulking, plus the toilets are super low to the ground!

My husband and I booked room 840 but when we entered, the musty smell and heaviness of the air was overwhelming. We requested a room change and were moved to 828 and the smell was the same. I have to assume that most the rooms smell like that…? I noticed the bathrooms don’t have fans. Maybe that’s the issue. I was also disappointed in the amount of disposable items used in the hotel. :(

Checked in late, went to bed, mattress was SOAKED on 1/2. It was gross. We were able to switch rooms the next morning. Shuttle driver, Tony was awesome. Shuttle was very convenient.

We had a 2 room suite. It was very nice & the bed was comfortable. We used valet, nice employees & fast service. We also used the shuttle service to go to Broadway. The driver, Matt, he is a local & very helpful on places to go. The shuttle service was also fast service. Would definitely stay again!

The 2 bed 2 bath suite was a bit dated but clean. The staff were very nice and friendly with the exception of a couple of valet attendants. Location was excellent. The shuttle to Broadway is a major plus and the driver was very nice. Breakfast was good also. I would definitely stay again.

Check in was supposed to be at 4pm but when we showed up at 5:30pm we were told we would be on a waiting list for a room. We reserved a week prior. We had dinner reservations at 7pm. We did not get an available room until 8:45pm. We were not the only guests this happened too. There were TONS of guests in lobby (stranded) waiting to get in to rooms.

The staff at Embassy Suites Vanderbilt is exceptional starting with front desk, housekeeping, wait staff (both at breakfast and restaurant), manager that came around at reception each evening clearing away plates, and especially the shuttle drivers. This was our second visit to this hotel and I’m glad to see that they remain committed to providing an enjoyable experience.

Neither tv was working properly. We reported immediately. There was no urgency to come and check it out from staff. Finally, after walking downstairs, someone came up and looked. We were able(on our own) to figure out how to semi work the tv in living area. However, the tv in bedroom never came on. He shrugged and said maybe it was the batteries. He never brought new batteries. After I was dismayed, we were offered free parking. We stayed for two nights. No one ever came and fixed the tv the following day either. It seemed as if no one cared at all.

Beautiful hotel in a great location! It is an easy walk to the busiest part of Broadway where all of the action is. The staff is friendly. The food is great. My only complaint is the parking deck. It is very tight and the parking spaces are small. It would be very difficult to park a truck or full sized SUV. My truck was to tall for the deck. I will definately stay there again.

A great place in the heart of midtown Nashville. Lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance, and a short ride to downturn Broadway. And the free breakfast is perfect for treating hangovers.

This was a lovely hotel and the staff were outstanding, kind, helpful and welcoming. My 8 year old daughter and I stayed here for a concert downtown. I booked here because it had breakfast and was cheaper than the downtown spots, even though we could still see downtown! The staff were super helpful in helping us find an uncrowded bbq spot nearby, and the breakfast was terrific. Also, the trolly stop is just outside the door, and Hattie B’s is across the street! We had to pay for parking nightly, but it was $35 per night and I had access to my car anytime I wanted. SUPER easy to unpack and come and go from the 6th floor and I didn’t have to wait. Rooms were great too. On Friday night, the music from the bar next door was pretty loud, and when I had to rely on the shuttle, it was late. But, it did pick us up in the rain, downtown, so I was so thankful! (It’s a little too far to walk downtown.) Would happily stay here again.

It’s a bit of a walk from the main strip on broadway but we enjoy walking. It’s one of the reasons we chose this location. When it was hot/humid in the middle of the day we used the hotel’s shuttle a couple times. It’s a nice perk. The staff were always responsive and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel to my friends coming to Nashville.

We stayed for 9 nights at the Embassy Suites at Vanderbilt. The location was great, right in the heart of mid-town with plenty of bars nearby, we liked Oodies and the Stillery. With some good food options like Velvet Taco for a quick bite, or there was a great Ramen place across the road. The shuttle bus was great - remember to tip your driver! Although the walk to downtown is fine during the day (aprox 20 mins), it wouldn't feel very safe at night. Although you can walk via the Gulch too. The breakfast didn't provide many good vegetarian options (bacon + sausage mostly), so we didn't eat there every day. The rooms were a great size, having the living area space for a longer stay meant some days we could still in the room more comfortably. We went to the cocktail hour a few times, that was okay, but often we had plans which meant we missed the time. Would recommend anyone to this hotel, great value for money for the location and facilities.

Great location but…..mattress and pillows should have been replaced long ago. Shower leaked onto floor. At breakfast they ran out of scrambled eggs (did not want to wait for omelet) and no milk for cereal.

Overall our experience went well. However, I decided to try the omlette station for breakfast one morning, and asked for a simple ham and cheese omlette I sqaw the cook grab a scoop of what was supposed to be ham and throw it on the griddle. It was Grey, and looked like it was very old. I took the completed dish to my table and folded it open. The smell of old meat was overpowering and made me gag. I began to notice other food items that were potential red flags after this, the "fresh" fruit looked frozen and old, scrambled eggs were not completely cooked.. etc. I think if they updated their food strage and handling they would definately be a choice location.

The breakfast buffet was great. More than the breakfast was dinner at the restaurant/bar in the hotel. It was amazing! Don’t sleep on the food you will be shocked it was sooo good.
