First of all they are remodeling so everything from the lobby to the pool is under construction… the hallway to get to the pool, gym and bar is unsightly and maybe this should be mentioned somewhere. Our door couldn’t be unlocked and we waited over 4 hours for the door to be opened because no one knew what to do - they ended up breaking it down basically, pulling out the floor and everything so they had to give us a new room. Just a heads up

I like what they are doing with the renovation. Our room was very nice. Parking and access is easy - once you realize it's right behind the Mercedes dealership. Easy access to highway. The service was outstanding. Bar and lunch/dinner service was great. Please advertise the status of amenities during the reno. Example, we were not able to access the pool either day we were there and the fitness center was permanently closed for renovations. We ordered breakfast and had to send it back twice. However, the pizza we ordered for dinner was superb! Note there is no microwave or frig in the room. There is ice/water and a shared small microwave in the hallway. Check in/out was a breeze. I think this place is going to be awesome when the reno is complete!

The property was in midst of full remodel that was not disclosed. "KITCHEN" Was apparently set up temporarily outside under a tent. Again not disclosed. Two large events were booked and this plus construction led to basically no parking, facilities (fitness area), closed. Also the amount of trash left in common areas was quite ridiculous. Was xharged incorrectly on card for stay and had tk deal with that. Will not return.

A little bit of a long wait to check in, but not terrible. One of the elevators were down so that also took awhile to wait for your turn. I liked the ease of finding the hotel, decent prices, and it was clean.

I can’t believe you have to pay to rent the cabanas at the pool. I chose this hotel in part because it has a lovely pool, but the cabanas are chained off. The whole time I was there, I didn’t see a single person using them, which seems like a shame. And false advertisement on the hotel website.

Put in a room that smelt aweful, had a dehumidifier plug through the bathroom door into entry way to get smell out. Booked roo s for 5 days 5 months ago and putin worst room in hotel for a convention that they gave all the newly remodeled rooms to. Yraveled all my live for my career and by far the worst e xperience with a gotel ever

I chose this property based on the photos and reviews. But was shocked the first noghts stay. We stayed on the 4th floor. This floor/ our room was so filthy and very outdated! The motel 6 is probably cleaner. The carpets are not vacuumed. The shower had a little mold and the bathroom was so outdated. The furniture was dirty. It just felt like we were in the ghetto. The photos are deceiving. The only pleasant experience was the bar ambience and the lobby..The property needs to revamp its management and pride for the display of its hotel to include cleanliness and to assess its expectations in their housekeeping staff.

My experience was ok hotel was nice but they are renovating most of it so I’m sure in a few months it will be very nice what I didn’t like was it was a few roaches in the shower it was very rusty looking in the shower ceiling I stayed up most of the couldn’t sleep didn’t have to anything to do with hotel I think it was the bugs I saw

Staff was friendly and fast to check in. Room was clean. However the complex is under active renovations. You can tell it’s an older property recently bought. I assume it will be fully updated soon but the noise beginning at 8AM was less than ideal. It was good and convenient for a short stay. Would stay again if needed in hopes it’s fully updated. No hair dryer and not microwave in room. That was frustrating

I arrived at 10:30 pm. When I went to my room, the a/c was off and the room was pretty hot. I turned on the a/c and went to bed expecting the room to cool down. At 1am, I woke hope to a room that was like a sauna, but who wants to get out of bed, pack and move rooms at that point for a 1 night stay? Getting ready for my work conference in that level of heat was awful. When I checked out in the morning and let them know, all I received was “oh, that’s a bummer, sorry” without so much as any eye contact or level of sincerity. So disappointing!

The room smelled musty. Tub is small but shower pressure was amazing. Panels in the bathroom ceiling were a little off. Air conditioner did not work the best and was loud.

Hotel was undergoing remodeling, so there was some construction going on but really was NOT an issue. Few minor inconveniences but staff took care of right away and went above and beyond to correct and compensate.

After waiting in line to check in. They told us no rooms available. The hotel computer system was down and even tho we had a reservation. We had no room. (They said we had no rooms available) There were a lot of unhappy customers. The process was slow and no urgency.

When we arrived at hotel at 440 pm check in is 3. Line was out door with people waiting for rooms. The phones were ringing off the hook and the one staff member at the desk did her very best to accomodate the line. After an hour in line we got to the desk and she took $99 for incidentals. What incidentals there was no ice in the hotel, the floors on the hall we were on 11th were not finished. I asked about a refund and was told i could not get one. We were going to book somewhere else but the desk clerk managed to get ys a room finally. We watched so many people wait more.than 2.hours. the elevators took 8 to 13 mins to get to floor. I feel like the owners shpuld be held responsible and not the poor understaffed staff The renovated rolms were very nice but we were unable to make our dinner reservations and were almost late to our concert. The owners should be ashamed to leave the staff to be held liable for their lack of management.

When we got to the hotel to check in after a concert we were told they overbooked and sent us away. They gave us a refund but we had called ahead to let them know it would be late by the time that we checked in and they had our phone number and our email and could have given us a warning. We have stayed at Hotel Preston several times and really enjoyed it, but I don’t think we’re back after this.

We experienced a few setbacks at this hotel, but the staff’s response was commendable. Upon arriving early in the morning, we were disappointed to learn that our reserved double queen room was unavailable, and instead, we were offered a king room with a rollaway bed. Despite our explicit instructions for our room not to be cancelled, it had been given away. However, Marie at the front desk was exceptionally helpful; she managed to secure a room that was ready but hadn’t been marked as such by housekeeping. She personally checked the room to ensure everything was in order before we moved in. When we discovered that the electrical outlets were not functioning, preventing us from charging our devices, I reached out to Melvin, the manager, who addressed the issue swiftly and offered his sincere apologies for the oversight and the initial room mix-up. Instances like this truly test the quality of service, and I’m pleased to say the staff here turned a potentially frustrating experience into a very pleasant stay. Many thanks for making our visit so enjoyable.

The hotel staff were very nice.. bartender was great food was good and the entertainment at the bar was very good… room was horrible… door had to to be lifted to even begin to close .. toilet would not flush… room was very run down and not maintained… was worst hotel I have stayed in for many years

Check in took 45 minutes. She spent 45 minutes taking care of two people from midnight until 12:45 a.m. while a bunch of people waited. There were probably 20 people waiting. Eight people in our group with four small children. Worst check in experience ever!!! Beds were nice though.

To clean property, spacious rooms, by staff and good looking bar. Only $10-$15 to Uber downtown. Has an airport shuttle for free. Couple fast food places and a gas station walking distance. Homeless in the area but they don't bother anyone.

Hotel was nice and close to the office we had to visit. Was disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner or breakfast. Besides that everything was great for the price. Employees were AWESOME!!!! Can’t wait to see what this hotel looks like when the remodel is done.

The hotel was under renovations. We stayed on the 5th floor above the major renovations. We arrive on Wednesday and Thursday morning we heard some tapping and drilling. It wasn’t anything massive. They did tell us at the front desk what time to expect the noise. By Friday at 8:30am/9am up until check out time, they were fully Into the work. But I would stay there again hands down. They had a full bar in the lounge and the food was good. We had lunch there.

I have stayed there for numerous years and have always loved The Preston. I understand it is under new ownership but it does advertise at least continental breakfast. Nope only coffee. I was told the restaurant only opens when full enough. I ordered a drink at the bar in the evening and never received that either. I will stay again with the hope it is just growing pains but very disappointed

Great service from all crews! Front desk, housekeeping, even the renovation crew was super nice and accommodating. The bar/restaurant was good. Food was tasty and drinks reasonably priced. Super close to the airport but also quiet. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

The staff was so friendly. It was really dated, but we seen signs saying they will be renovating. There was a restaurant on site which I don’t think the hotel owns. The service there was really slow and the food was not to good.

The property was clean, but my TV didn’t work and the lady working at the desk was clueless about the situation and the only fix was to change rooms! I didn’t want to move 6 suitcases and pack up. Hotel restaurant was good and the bartender was very personable.

Pros - quick and convenient to most Nashville activities. Bartender was awesome. Live music in lobby was great. Cons - walls are paper thin, and there was all night sex marathons all around us, made it impossible to sleep. Elevator tends to get stuck for exuberant amounts of time. Was about to order breakfast when the table next to me found roaches in their food.
