We actually stayed here one night, went out of town for the next, and checked back in the third night. The first night was not good. Our room was damp. Everything felt moist and smelled musty, except for the loud air freshener they had attached to the wall that sprayed about every 15 minutes. This was room 206. Two nights later, third floor, other side of the hotel. No issues. No dampness. No musty smell. No air freshener making loud noises. Beds are comfy. Curtains help black out light. One vending machine only takes cash, the other one didn’t work. Pool needs some MAJOR TLC. Mini fridge was barely cold. Nice TV and channel options. Great water pressure. Good location as far as proximity to everything (airport, Opry, downtown), otherwise in a run down section off the exit.

We liked the hot breakfast, although they could mix it up a little. Maybe bacon instead of sausage on some days. Also really liked having a shuttle service to downtown (for $10). Close to Grand ole Opry.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The continental breakfast was exactly what you hope for. Fresh fruit, juices, cereal, waffles, toaster for bagels or bread, eggs, sausage, muffins, yogurt.. it was great. Staff always super nice and helpful, room was clean. Best perk in this area of Nashville, is a shuttlle to and from downtown for only $10 per person, round trip. Would recommend this motel and will definitely stay there again.

The staff is amazing. We had a tornado siren go off at 2:30 am, and they had everyone get in the 1st floor hallway and made sure we were kept informed and made us as comfortable as possible. Aside from the emergency, the room was clean and comfortable. Some hotel showers have low water pressure, but this one was great. Love that they can arrange shuttle to downtown - round trip $15.

This place is way overpriced for what you get! Very old and outdated. Stayed in room 103, The windows are so old and fogged over you can't see anything! There was still trash in the room when we checked in that had not been cleaned up from the previous guest. This is a very old hotel. For $272 for one night, I had a lot more expectations than what we got. When you're in the bathroom I could hear everything the guest in the other room was talking about. I would look elsewhere when you need a room. Not worth the price!

That room had its air unit in a "closet". The unit fan was constantly on, yet the room always felt stuffy and had a musty smell. It was clear that management was aware of the smell, since there was an automatic room freshener installed in the bathroom. At the end of our 3 night stay, we discovered what may be the cause. There was some kind of dampness in the carpet between the bed and the interior wall of the bathroom. The sink was on the opposite side of that wall. My husband suspects a leak, so we left a message/suggestion the next morning to have it looked at. Hopefully, they can fix that issue for future guests.

I'll start with what I liked about the hotel. Beyond lovely front reception. Calls were coming in, clients were trying to apply points, line up at the desk and the lovey woman kept her composure, manners and sense of humour. The rooms looked like they had recently been updated with new bedding and carpet; smaller sized rooms but given the age of the building it was anticipated. Very VERY close to Grand Ole Opry, food, shopping etc. Everything you would want.... However, I think this hotel was very crowded, someone (guest) was blaring inappropriate music in the reception area waiting for his party (bachelor?). With the rooms being updated the smell of plastic (?) or the damp A/C units were overwhelming for the first while. My daughter in the room across the way ate her pizza out in the hallway as she felt the damp/plastic smell was overwhelming. Here is the kicker though; there is a wall mounted timed air freshener. This goes off off regularly and throughout the night which woke me up even over the sound of the A/C unit. Small detail but it was an irritation. I honestly think that we were just not a good fit for this hotel; perfect for young adults or those wanting to be closer to the Nashville experience.

You walk in and it is cute, looks like a "country inn." However the room was so musty it was just very strong the smelled the whole time. Didn’t clear with air conditioner running, it was so bad. Only one ice machine in the place. But breakfast was good actually had hot food.

Mrs. Brenda is a very sweet lady who checked me in and she checked on my stay as I would come in for the evening from a production I was attending over at the Grand Ole Opry. Very quiet and nice place. The sliding doors to enter need some TLC and the door to the pool also. No other issues. The rooms are nice and clean and the ac worked great and the bathroom was in a great condition. I will use this hotel for future stops when in the area. Thank you.

Geri Lynn at the reception desk was wonderful. She went above and beyond to ensure we hd a comfortable stay, and alway with a smile. Housekeepers were very thorough and kept the facility clean. Breakfast was very good.

We have used this property on many occasions for our employees and also for the for the week prior to this reservation. When checking in our driver was told that he could not stay there because he was driving a motorcoach. The person he spoke was very rude and told him he had to leave ever though the room was paid for in advance. The parking lot had plenty of room for our vehicle but that wasn't good enough for her so we left and used a property a block away. We will not be using this property again or referring it out tour customers.

Customer Service is 10 X above 5 stars. The front desk service went above and beyond the call of duty. Ms. Brenda and Gerilyn are amazing employees. Every Country Inn & Suites would be fortunate to have these 2 on staff. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional. We have spent the next 3 nights of our trip at CI&S because of the wonderful service we received in Nashville.

The front desk clerk was amazing! She was kind, informative, a problem solver and an overall excellent employee! In all my years of travel, I have never met one like her! Your maintenance man was the same! He came up at 11:00 at night to fix the television. He fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. Thank you! We will be a repeat customer!!

It was a pleasant stay, although the images online make the facility look newer than in person. The vent in the bathroom didn’t work, so the room was steamed up during showers. Nevertheless, everything was pleasant and convenient to my destination. The only issue I had was the clerk charging my card even when I expressed wanting to pay in cash. I understand needing the card on file for any incidentals. And I gave it. What I don’t understand was the check-in clerk telling me to tell the clerk at checkout I wanted to pay cash, but charging my card anyway. I received an alert. If there is a no cash policy at the facility that was all that needed to be said. I’m a nice human, I avoid conflict, but I’m straightforward. My mom was taking care of the staying part and I handled everything else on our trip. She pays in cash, always has. We travel all the time and it has never been an issue. Pay upfront and hold a card for any issues. However, I would stay there again, but I just know to charge the stay because there seems to be an issue with cash.

The tv in our room had some problems and the front desk clerk had to come to the room twice to try to resolve the problem. She was very kind and helpful with it and was able to get it resolved. The location was very good for visiting the Gaylord Opryland and the shopping at Opry Mills Mall. Breakfast left a lot to be desired- unidentifiable meat patties, pre-done eggs, very small yogurt cups. They did offer biscuits and gravy, which were at least appetizing. The bed was very comfortable and better than most hotel beds. Nothing was terribly wrong here, just not anything great either.

Pros: Reasonably priced Decent breakfast (included) Comfortable beds Quiet Clean Kind & helpful staff Allowed early check-in Be aware that they do not have a daily maid service for your room. However, you can get anything you need from the front desk. It didn’t bother me or my husband and we stayed for multiple days. Would stay again.

This is our second time staying here. The first was many years ago. They have renovated and updated things since we were last here. (At least I think so -- or my memory isn't great about what it looked like. Lol) We enjoyed the hot breakfast. They had sausage, eggs, biscuits & gravy, waffle maker, a variety of cereals & oatmeal, bread, bagels, muffins, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juices, coffee, etc. The beds were comfy, a/c worked great, bathroom was a good size. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
