It was June and they had not received their inspection so the pool was not open despite it being within season.

Advertise a pool, which is why I chosen the hotel, pool was closed for not paying taxes on it, not for maintenence issues. Children were upset because I told them there was a pool to go swimming.

I didn't like the sign that said park at your own risk!! You need some type of security that patrols parking lot periodically. Lots of drug addicts hanging out and I smelt pot while people standing out near vehicles

Front of hotel needs repairs outside. The inside could be cleaned up better. 1 elevator was out of order so we found ourselves waiting several minutes for the one that was working. Room was clean and smelled fine.

Half of the lights in the room did not work, no sheets or comforter for pull out bed and it was covered in crumbs, bed comforter was stained, bathtub faucet would not fully turn off and leaked the whole time, husband and two year old son got stuck in the elevator going to get breakfast and had to wait to get rescued out of the elevator. needless to say my son is scared of elevators now….

Smelled like smoke right outside the front doors , ice machine didn’t work, tvs were laggy and took a long time to work. Staff was very friendly and handled everything we needed!

At first I was worried that I had made a big mistake. The signs in the parking lot said "park at your own risk". Not a good first impression. The building itself is getting old and it's in a bad location. It is clean inside, but again, it needs updates and improvements. The pool out back was full of trash, furniture, and leaves. Once we got to the room I felt better. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and there were plenty of friendly guests staying as well. I can't say I'd never stay there again, but the location makes me think I'd probably look elsewhere next time.

A lot of activity in the parking lot…people coming and going. Some looked homeless and some shady. Gym elliptical needs to be fixed or replaced. Made a lot of noise when I tried to use it. Breakfast had waffle makers but no batter was put out to make any. Lastly only one of the elevators were operational and I was on the 7th floor.

It was close to shopping centers and restaurants, Wal-Mart across the street! However...there was only one ice machine working out of 3. We were on the 2nd floor and had to go up to the 7th floor to get ice. Breakfast was nice. Wish they could rotate the sausage for bacon though. We don't eat sausage everyday. Overall it was a nice experience. I would recommend this hotel

Room itself was just ok. I was charged a $100 deposit upon check-in even tho I paid fully online…not sure what it was for and didn’t get it back at checkout. Nowhere on the website did it say the pool was closed because it hasn’t been inspected for the season yet…it’s June. The mattress on the pullout couch was horribly worn and thin. It served our purpose but wasn’t anything to brag about

Nothing The room was full of ants and went to front desk. They new and gave me a can of ant spray

We stayed at this hotel from 10/10/25 to 10/12/25, and it was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. Our first night there, room 718 was completely infested with roaches. They were all over the bathroom crawling on the toilet, in the tub, up the walls, and all over the floor. It was absolutely disgusting and unsanitary. We left the very next morning and told the front desk why we couldn’t stay another night. We were told refunds have to be approved by the “owner,” but none of the staff even seem to know who he is personally. I’ve called every day since, and as of 10/14/25, no one has contacted me or refunded us for the nights we didn’t stay. This place is filthy, poorly managed, and completely unprofessional. Do yourself a favor don’t waste your money here. There are plenty of other hotels that actually value cleanliness and customer service.

In two words "roach infestation".

Semen and blood stains on bedding and curtains. We slept with our clothes on, on top of bedding. Never again will we even think about staying there!

Horrible. Room wreaked of cigarettes. Hair in the shower. Carpet disgusting. Double charged for my $100 deposit.

Staff were exceptional. Overall comfort was decent, but cleanliness was ok. The last night there, I found adult and baby roaches crawling in the bathroom upon our return to the room. Not the thing I wanted to flip the light on to find!

Room was not very clean, stains all over the floor. Mold on the curtains, rips and stains on the comforters.

Outdated; dirty carpets; hair in the shower/tub upon arrival; bed and pillows not very comfortable. I will not stay here ever again.

The A/C did not work in my room and the bathroom was very rusty and old.

Got the king bed room with the jetted tub very nice and spacious soft and comfortable bed kinda wished it had a tv with built in streaming apps however very nice and clean room 10/10

The location of the hotel was great for our needs. Free parking. A free, nice breakfast. The space is great--very spacious and clean. The hotel is better than many in the areas, though in some places it had a musty smell. Rooms were fine.

Environment it’s in, makes this place terrible. But inside your room, it’s super solid.

Conveniently located near Interstate. Check-in was pleasant. Breakfast was very good. Bed super comfortable. Hotel room was getting tired. Showing signs of use. Chipped paint on doors and mirror. Carpet had some stains.

I can’t complain about the comfort of the room or the quiet. I did get a good nights sleep. However it’s clear that routine maintenance is lacking here. Small things like the shower drain did not stay open, curtain rods were sagging, the heater cover was broken. These are small things but show signs that conditions can quickly deteriorate

Front desk clerk during the day is superb, in the evening the young lady is very rude, unhelpful, and contrite. She needs to be retrained in Customer engagement.

I had 2 rooms and I called and asked to be conjoined rooms or at least on same floor and they told me no problem and I get there and they give me 3rd floor and other room on 7th floor and said sorry we full!!! Also the next morning the gentleman behind desk was sleeping and we had to yell to get him up!

The check in staff was nice and helpful. I stayed for 6 days and no one cleaned my room. The cleaning lady was cleaning the room next to mine on Sunday (after being there since Thursday) and she told me I wasnt on her cleaning list. Never had that before where they wouldnt even accommodate me for an exchange of towels, trash, etc. She said she'd call the front desk and get back to me. I waited for over an hour and even left the stopper in my door. She never informed me, so I went down to check and ended up having to get my own towels, which I was given swimming pool towels. Then the staff couldnt find trash bags and said he'd call me... he didn't. I went down late at night and the night staff gave me a big black trash bag, which I used for all my trash. By Monday, there was no reason nor expectation for them to clean my room as I was checking out the next day. If not for all of that, I would have had a very pleasant stay. The area is nice, the view from the top floor was nice, just didn't like staying in an unkempt room as I don't in my own place.

This hotel is terrible. DO NOT stay here. When we arrived there were unsavory-looking characters standing outside smoking and drinking. People were playing loud music all night in the parking lot. The woman at reception was rude and acted like I was intruding on her mobile phone time. The staff was MIA, and strange people roamed the halls. I prepaid for 3 nights but left after the first. I'm going to try to get my money back because this was rated as very good on Hotels.com. No way it should be listed on the site.

The team that works there was very friendly.

The Location is great it’s close too everything, The third shift front desk lady was RUDE, mold in the bathroom, fridge made noise, said they would replace never did. the wall separating the living room and bedroom moved. The morning shift lady Alicia I believe was her name was a Gem. Thank you Alicia.

Out of 14days only 2staff members was great to the guest the Gm oh house keeping very very rude and talk horrible to guest paying money to be there will never recommend

Check in process was quick done. I accidentally left my cellphone at the desk and about 1-2 minutes after entering the room, I received a call from the front desk asking if I had my phone. I was extremely grateful for the return of it.

This hotel was very good. Comfortable beds. Nice size room. Convenient to PNC Pavilion. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Only stayed one night but nice roomy space. Room was quiet and comfortable. Check in/out was easy. Breakfast was good. Fairly close to the venue where we were attending a concert (NODA area). Would stay again should we come back for another concert.

There were red flags the minute I arrived. First, the area was sketchy. The parking lot seemed iffy at best safety wise. Check reviews about broken windows and theft. I did later and was shocked. Got there for check in well after room was supposed to be ready @ 3pm that was problematic. Next, elevator stopped working on the 2nd floor and I had to drag my luggage up 4 flights of stairs to the 6th floor. Got to room decided to just look on the bright side. I had a jetted tub I could use after the concert I drove to Charlotte for. I needed to shower and get ready now. AND, no hot water whatsoever. I let water run, waited. I tried every part of the dial with ample time for water to get adjusted. Nope! I HAD to take a cold shower. I even checked the faucet for tube to see if any warm water would come out...nothing but cold. Major Bummer! After my cold shower I tried to call the front desk. Phone didn't work. I tried multiple times. Again, nothing. I quickly dressed and looked out the window. Saw a couple transient folks cruising and yelling around the back parking close to University blvd entry. I had a sinking feeling. If I got back to this hotel late and had to park out there my car might get messed with. AND no hot jet tub. Everything added up to major disappointment. I didn't feel comfortable or safe. I packed back up, figured I'd cut my losses and checked out! Ended up driving home after my concert. Decided not to take anymore chances at this hotel. Sad! 👎Time & $$ 👎

In a great location for shopping and dining

The area around the property, in general, felt a bit unsafe. I would be fine staying there again as part of a group, but not on my own.

Affordable, near many interesting places, clean, easy parking.

Breakfast wasn’t very good

The woman in the desk working in the morning of April 12,2024 was absolutely rude. She had a straight face while bearing talking and making eye contact and pointed to things instead of talking. The breakfast was not edible. Old stuff heated and furniture was torn. People around us was shady. Likely prostitution and drug sales was going on. Felt very unsafe. I will not recommend this place.

The staff was very nice, no complaints there. When we checked in - 3 had 3 rooms booked - my husband and I took the one they said was "renovated" yet and let our guests take the updated rooms. Our room when we checked in, on a day that was 100 degrees, had the A/C turned off - so the room was a sauna and took forever to cool off. It had water damage on the ceiling, a torn couch, everything in the bathroom that was metal was rusted, and the shower curtain was torn. The bed was nice, but considering the temp of the room and all the other factors, I worried about bedbugs - thankfully none. The breakfast was sparce and the same thing both days, I expected a little variety maybe alternate sausage and bacon at a minimum. 90% of the furniture in the dining area was old and torn. But the most unsavory part was the toleration for people sitting around the hotel entrance at night drinking and smoking pot etc. I was a little unnerved and scared for our teenagers walking around or coming in after us alone. I was a little scared to have 2 19 yr old women go to the pool unaccompanied. Everyone is entitled to do their own thing, and that is their right, but I would think the staff at the hotel since we did see them walk out there, would not let that go on in plain site right at the entrance.

The only perk for this property is the location. Outside of that, the place felt dirty and looked dirty. There were stains on the walls, floor, and bedding. The breakfast tasted awful. I wouldn't stay there again and I wouldn't recommend this place either. The staff was kind and helpful.

The room was fine, but other parts of the hotel were not good. The parking lot seemed sketchy, as there were two parked cars that had their windows busted out and lots of beer bottles and trash. The front desk people were not helpful and a little rude, and the breakfast wasn’t good and was missing a lot of items. I picked this hotel because of the pool, but the pool was empty and closed- in the middle of summer. My kids were disappointed. Also, they only cleaned my room once the three nights I was there, and it was hard to get fresh towels.
