Decided on this hotel cause of the price and the reviews and ratings. Checked in and quickly learned that those were fake reviews. The room smelled moldy wasn’t clean the card doesn’t work the side doors. After 2 days staying there but paid for a week the hallway was flooded. We work nights so we sleep during the day. But even having the door hanger on the maids still open the door. Went to talk to the front desk she acted liked she didn’t care no apologies nothing. Employees are just there to get a check. The pool is drained the grounds looks like a 8 yr old cuts the grass not kept up. The waffle maker didn’t work the juice machine didn’t work. This place reminded me of a Myrtle beach hotel I paid 30 bucks for back when I was 20.

The panel in the elevator was falling off. The bottom of the doors were painted over instead of repaired. We followed directions to get clean towels in the morning and by 5pm we had no towels and the trash was still in our room. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was limited and not restocked quickly. Another guest told us not to worry as the property had just been sold and maybe the new owners would be better. I guess we'll see.

The entire floor smelled of smoke walking to our non-smoking room. Our room (especially bathroom!) smelled like nasty sour musty mildew the entire time, and we stayed several days. The pool was empty except for dirty rain water and overturned furniture in it. Also, some guy who worked at the Fairfield got our attention only to literally look me up and down from head to toe and said "hmmm, yes sir!" (While my husband was standing right beside me!!). Would not return.

Good location near interstate & shopping. Breakfast was not great. The delivery truck didn't show up, so no more eggs. Juice dispenser didn't work. An employee had taken the key to the milk case home, so no milk was available. Ran out of coffee cups. Back door handle was missing, so couldn't use the rear door. Room smelled bad. Baseboards in bathroom were dirty.

False advertisement! The pool was a joke. The rooms smells and the manager had to take me to three different rooms, I accepted because I was tired. The mattress feels worn out The young lady with the long dreads on her head was the only person that was not nice bad attitude for the front desk.

Have been staying at this facility twice a year for years (15) some up stays some down stays. The outside of facility continues to decline in maintenance and cleanliness trash cigarette butts and other items in shrubbery etc. Lived in vehicles (2) have been in rear parking area for at least (3) years .Outside smoking area 10 feet from entrance door always a mess. Employees friendly and helpful if you can ever find one. Seems to be only a front desk Employee on duty most weekend's. Dining area is kept clean and is a miss on items provided. Any package items are old and dried out , facility had a great dining area employee for about 18 months but was replaced with different employees who were there for the (job) $ only with no idea what customer service meant. Think a disguised regional General Manager should spend at least a Thursday through Sunday stay and observe facility operations.

I like the Continental breakfast and the area is very convenient to nice restaurants, shopping, etc. The actual hotel looks like it needs some renovations. Some of the rooms had broken doors meaning some of the rooms weren't secured, the hallways had a not so pleasant scent. The staff was cool.

had a generally good stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Charlotte. The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth. However, the room could have been cleaner. There was a noticeable stain and a tear on the curtain, and each time I entered the room, there was a strange lingering odor. These issues didn’t ruin my stay, but they definitely stood out. My biggest issue is cleanliness. Not only did the hotel failed to clean the room from the person that was previously there i.e. washcloths still in the bathroom and on the floor… I stayed for two nights in my room wasn’t touched the entire time. The amenities and everything else was fine… But in hotels cleanliness is next to godliness.

The room was very dirty. It was late when we arrived and the lighting was poor so we didn’t notice much of it until the next morning. The sheets, toilet, and towels were clean. When I opened the drapes in the morning I realized how dirty the room was. The sheer drapes were completely shredded and filthy at the bottom. The floors needed to be swept. There was hair in the shower. This location is also near the highway on one side and a somewhat busy street on the other so there is constant traffic noise. I did expect that part of the stay. One end of the hallway smelled strongly of marijuana.

I was surprised in the condition this hotel was in . Seems to be an older Marriott . It's noise , due to it being off the high close to an intersection . The bed was comfortable , room clean . I'm not sure if the was a leak of some kind but looks like water messed the paint up on the wall . The fire alarm went off at 9:59 am the morning of my check out .

The exterior appearance of the hotel and the area around the hotel were nice but the room was very dumpy and in serious need of a remodel. The carpeting was torn up, the tub was stained as were the walls. All in all it was probably the worst Fairfield Inn I have stayed in. I expected much better from this chain.

Stayed here for a panthers game. I didn’t read the reviews since it was a Marriott hotel but should have. I always stay in Marriotts and travel several times a year this was by far the worst. Customer service was the only good thing about this hotel. The elevators had lots of stains. Opened the door to the room and got hit with an awful smell. Guess they tried to spray something to make the room smell good, but it didn’t work. The heat/AC did not work. The shower leaked. The amount of weed smell was atrocious. I know next time to stay at the courtyard around the corner.

Checkin crew was awesome. Overnight guy not so much. After our first night the light in the bathroom went out. When we returned that night the light was still out. Came to find out the overnight guy never wrote it down to be repaired. The ladies of the day crew took care of it for us thought. The hotel is dated with a couple of the outlets at the lamps inop. No USB hookups whatsoever.....so a bummer there. The lady handling the breakfast every morning was great. However today (Sunday) it was less than desirable and of course someone else was supposed to be filling the basics like the eggs.....but that never happened. Thankfully we checked out this morning and had breakfast at our location.

It could've been stains that couldn't come out, but it looked terrible and we didn't want to sit on the couch. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast wasn't great. They had microwaved breakfast sandwiches that were not very good, especially if you don’t eat biscuits or cheese. Waffles were great. It was conveniently located. Overall, it was fine. The price was a little high.

The hotel and its staff was fine , friendly and helpful. Unfortunately my room window faced 4 lane boulevard and near by interstate 77 so every fully loaded eighteen wheeler and powerful sport car with 5 liter engine and dummy behind the wheel woke me up numerous time through out the night. If anyone decide to stay in this hotel then I highly recommend to ask receptionist for room which window is facing more quiet hotel side with swimming pool.

Front desk staff incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is on the older side but the beds were comfortable and room was clean. One downside is you are right off a very busy road. Car traffic is very loud if your room is in the front.

Everything thing was good. The staff was very friendly, we had an issue with our water being turned off for about 30 min or so bc they were working on the room above us. But it was back on in time for us to get ready for an event we were going to. But the location was close to everything. About a 10 min drive to downtown Charlotte. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel was dirty. The breakfast was horrible. The staff didn't have the key to open the fridge where milk and yogurt for the breakfast are kept. So there was no milk available for cereal. The coffee tasted more like water than coffee. I wouldn't stay there again.
