Rooms were outdated. Still has step in tubs. Air conditioning and heat was not working correctly, but was corrected power source built into Desk. None of them worked at all. No gym on site had to use YMCA connected to hotel or planet fitness down the street and only had a limited time to use it instead of 24 hour access.

Nice property, but not ideal for family or children. The property has a pool(lap pool) but it's connected to a YMCA facility. You have to schedule an appointment to use it.

Hate going to the lobby to get ice. Also need to allow all 4 elevators to be used especially when the hotel if filled with concert goers. I had to wait in line to get on an elevator for 25 minutes only 2 working.

The court yard was wonderful. What i didnt care for is two conferences in the hotel at once. It was so overloaded the elevators were slow and packed. Area out front of restaurant sitting was packed with tables,computers and people utilizing this area causing noise, crowds, and discomfort for others.

The rooms are clean. The staff is attentive. Parking can be tricky. The only negative comment I have is the toilet does not flush properly. It was necessary to flush 2 -3 times to empty waste.

The parking is not convenient. Too far to have to walk if valet parking is full. Battery on room door failed. Had to wait over 30 minutes for maintenence to come before we could get back in the room.

This property is situated in the perfect downtown, Charlotte area. Within walking minutes of many attractions. In the area there are many unique restaurants and little coffee and sandwich shops. Hotel staff are courteous and extremely helpful. The hotel is clean and relaxing.

The sheets were dirty upon arrival. When I called for a change of sheets, no one ever came. The air ducts were dirty. There were stains on the walls. The wallpaper was peeling. The price paid for the hotel did not align to service and appearance to the experience.

Stayed at this hotel last weekend for an event at the Convention Center. The room was spacious and very clean. I like that it is a completely non-smoking, pet-free hotel with no rugs. The bed and pillows were comfy. The bathroom had plenty of space, and the water in the shower was hot. (Although there was no fan in the bathroom which I though was a little odd but not a big deal.) It is within walking distance of the Convention Center, and the surrounding area was pleasant and seemed safe. It’s also not far (15 minutes away) from the airport. The people at the front desk were all very friendly and helpful. The only *minor* con was that the walls are thin and you can hear noise from the hallway and from other rooms (even they weren’t really all that noisy). Overall, a clean, conveniently located hotel with a nice vibe. If I come back to the area, I’d definitely stay here again.

I was badly itten by bedbugs on my second night at this hotel and was never contacted by a manager to discuss or for any compensation or relief. I suffered with the itch and injury my entire time at that hotel even after moving to another room!

Valet was good. Check in was smooth. The technology of the hotel was fantastic with texting services to concierge. The hotel walls are thin. You can hear almost everything from your neighbor next door. Beds we a bit to be desired. Very uncomfortable. Other than that some of the best hotel food I've had in a long time. Go see Daniel at the bar he was the best part of our stay.

I have nothing negative to say. I loved every bit of it. The place was amazing. I love how in the room the tv was personalized . The WiFi was actually great. I loved how I could do things remotely in the app. I loved how I could communicate over text rather then have to use the room phone .

Honestly, I could hear everything in the room right next to me. I could her them speak and watch t.v. and their private conversations which means the wall was pretty thin. Hard to sleep with the noise. Other than that, ok.

The representatives at check in were excellent! Very smooth check in because there was four reps there and no waiting. The first room was a suite room and there was a lot of noise from the other side of the door so I asked for another room and Trey, at check in, immediately fixed the problem and even gave me a nicer room. Not to mention how smiley and friendly he was also. The room was very clean and had a lovely view of the courtyard below. The hotel is beautiful and located very centrally . Outstanding decor and a nice restaurant on site. Shopping and restaurants within easy walk. Also beautiful parks nearby and an information kiosk with maps and souvenirs. Very nice stay.

Our stay was wonderful until the last night. The room next door was playing very loud uncensored rap music. We report this to the front desk at 12:30am, then at 1:30am and again at 2:30am. We were told security had been sent up, however we did not hear security. After the 3rd call at 2:30, security showed up and the front desk moved us to a different room. This was very frustrating to have to pack and move while in our pajamas and to be up for an early flight.

I used valet to park my car the whole weekend and my car was broken in too. I dropped my car off to valet at 5:30 Friday afternoon and don’t pick it back up until 10:30 Sunday morning. All of my stuff is gone and I believe it was because valet didn’t lock the car doors. Money, chargers, air fresheners and clothes that we just bought was all stolen. I was told that the hotel valet nor the parking garage that the valet parked the car is responsible for it. And that there is nothing the could do.

When we arrived after midnight, having given advance notice of late check-in, the staff was initially unfriendly, even arguing that there was no reservation (he hadn't looked for one). I would recommend treating guests more kindly, especially if it's late and they arrive tired from long journeys.

Hotel was clean and had a great location in the city. I was disappointed with the breakfast. We paid over $70 for continental breakfast that really should be included with the stay. The hotel service was amazing including the restaurant staff. There is not a pool on site. They rely on the YMCA hours- and they close early, or a planet fitness a couple blocks away. Not family friendly, and you really rely heavily on a slow elevator (only 2 seemed operational during a very busy time) We waited 10 minutes once to get on an elevator, and with kids forgetting or needing things from the room, I felt we were always waiting at the elevator. (We would have used the stairs, but I requested a high floor- so as a warning to those that also like high floors, go with a lower level for this Hotel) The room was quiet and very nice.

The room was very clean and the employees were all very kind. The breakfast was also good, pricey but it tasted fine. My only complaint is the parking charge. We were there less than 24 hours and charged $50, that’s outrageous. I thought she said it would be $25, which is quite a bit but I assumed it was the going rate. Very disappointed!

I liked the location of the property. We were there for a concert at the Spectrum Center and it was an easy walk to the venue. Plenty of dining options nearby as well. The bartender at the on site bar/restaurant left a lot to be desired. We had been instructed that we could be served quicker if we placed our order at the bar. Upon asking for a menu, he told us that one was posted at the entrance and then finally handed us one. He then told us to have a seat that he couldn't help us. After my son and husband walked off (noticeably irritated) I informed him that all we wanted to do was order a drink. He then said oh I can do that to which I replied, never mind. This restaurant/bar definitely was a disappointment. I have never experienced poor service onsite like this. Otherwise, we had no issues. I will say, that if the room will accommodate 4 people, there should be 4 towels and wash cloths already there.

It was a great hotel in a great location. It was close to a few museums, which is always a plus for me. I liked the convenience of the parking for in and out access. My only real gripe was the availability of the restaurant. To not be able to order food after 10 pm was a major inconvenience for me.
