I stayed at this Omni Hotel years ago and remember it being much nicer. Pros -- Great bed -- super comfortable, slept well. Great A/C unit in room. Nice shower. Cons -- Pool closed in middle of summer. No in-room utensils for grab and go meals. Limited trash facilities. There is straight theft going on at the parking garage attached. Self-parking signs claim to be "$30 Max daily limit", but each day I was charged $60 per day. I paid $120 to park a car for 2 days in the garage. Another nickel-and-dime issue -- no wifi included as standard? They charge $15/day for wifi. I complained about these issues to the customer service and they comp'ed the Wifi and issued a $50 credit to bill for no pool availability. Area around hotel has gone bad, with vagrants, homeless, panhandlers.

The buffet was just so so for the money. Love your hotel. Check in was great!! The lady was awesome. Didn't like that i had to pay $60 for parking after paying over $300. Last time i didn't have to pay for parking. That was one of the reasons we came back. And the amazing check in! That girl was awesome!

Second stay at the Omni Charlotte and it was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and the building is well maintained. Even with an event happening we had two quiet nights. The pool is closed for renovations but the other amenities we used were great.

I chose the property for the pool and bar around the pool so that I could enjoy without having to travel away from the hotel. No one told me that the pool and bar area by the pool was closed and under construction. They attempted to upgrade the room to a corner room. The room was outdated and reminded me of the break room at work minus the bed. I child hear all of the street traffic noise clearly from the room (11th floor). I left immediately and requested a refund. I was not please especially since the room was $350 for 1 night.

Super friendly and detailed service as expected with Omni. It was wonderful the bar was open and serving food late since we needed to eat after a festival several nights. The cocktail and food offered at that hour were much better than expected. Super convenient hotel location. The only negative was the pool and outdoor bar being shut down for renovation. But amenity updates are necessary for a hotel to reflect their standards of service so I completely understand. We will book again.

We had a lousy cockroach infestation in our bathroom. If I had been too tired last night, I would've switched rooms. Four giant roaches and babies were on the walls, floor, and even the shower. it’s a shame because it’s a lovely property with a lot to offer. Our particular room was very bad with bugs.

The exterior of the property was decent. I’ve stayed at multiple Omni hotels and this location was by far the filthiest. There were massive stains on the carpet in the room. The bathroom was incredibly small and filthy. Definitely not enough room for two people. There was an undeniable odor throughout that candles or Lysol spray could not eliminate. The couch was absolutely filthy. Stains throughout. I refuse to sit on it. The bed frame was dusty and had hand prints all over it. Thank god I always travel with Lysol spray and Clorox wipes. Do better Omni Charlotte, do better.

Room: floor carpet soiled with what looked like red bodily fluids. Broken TV remote. Google cast service non functional. Service: terrible. Manager informed me that as per her records room was clean - without even sending anyone to check. In addition she said she was too busy checking in other guests. I felt for her, but I really don’t understand how that was my concern - basically she was demanding that her problem become my responsibility. Totally unfit to work in the hospitality industry.

When we arrived we switched rooms because of dirty carpet and dust. The rooms we switched to were not much better. Front desk staff was great. Cleaning staff does not change sheets nor clean much daily. Roof top was nice. There is a food court downstairs which has a Starbucks and Chick-fil-a for breakfast.

The location of the Omni is its best selling point. We were able to walk to the art museum, several restaurants, and neighborhoods within 15 minutes. The staff were all helpful and responsive. We had a great experience with the valet and concierge. Unfortunately, the room - which is the pinnacle of most hotel experiences - didn't live up to the same expectations. The bathroom had visibly undergone several shoddy repairs. Broken tile in the shower, leftover mounting brackets from when the shower gel holder had previously fallen off, and misaligned pipe cover plates to name a few. The second night of our stay, the sink drain fully detached and leaked everywhere. Maintenance was quickly able to provide a temporary fix by taping the drain together, but it did dampen our experience. I would caution others that the price you pay to stay at the Omni is likely due to the convenience of the location, not necessarily for the quality of the room itself.

My girlfriend and spent 2 evenings here during a visit to Charlotte. The hotel itself was nice, the amenities and condition of the room were good, and we both enjoyed the restaurant and bar. Unfortunately the noise we could hear from the street in our room was a significant issue. On both nights, cars could be heard loudly driving and revving their engines past 2am. Obviously not the hotel’s fault but it definitely affected our experience. The room was definitely not sound-proof enough to mitigate the noise. On one night there was also a man in the courtyard outside loudly preaching to passersby until past 10pm. We called the front desk to report it, but the staff let us know he had a permit to be there.again, not the hotel’s fault, and the staff was very friendly, but again, it affected our experience. On a separate note, the hotel floor we stayed on also had a noticeable smell of weed all 3 days we were there. It didn’t bother us in our room, but it was consistently present in the halls. So, all in all, a nice hotel, but with definite noise issues.

This property is stunning ! The upgraded room they gave me was huge and very nice. During my stay the pool was closed, there was no working hot water, and the pm noise from the street, the rattling of the room from the train, and the pulsing music from the bar across the outdoor area was unbearable. Both nights I averaged 4-5 hrs of sleep. Also there was a fee to use the very well equipped gym in the hotel. This is my second mediocre stay with an Omni property . I don't believe I will ever stay in an Omni again

There was no place to hang your towels in the bathroom except on the door. When you flushed the toilet you could hear it out in the hallway. Very loud. No microwave in the room. The bed was nice and clean but need new mattresses.

Staff was awesome, Carissa checked us in and she was so friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were veey nice. Location was amazing. However, the noise outside of our room which appeared to be on the main strip ( traffic, sirens, music, people yelling in the street) was absolutely terrible. Had to buy ear plugs. If we come back will ask for more secluded room.

I was not happy with the King bed. The bed mattress has been worn and I felt like I was sinking. The room itself was clean. I did ask for someone to come and show me how to operate the TV. It shouldn't be that hard. Normally, I can figure things out, but I no one came, however; I did figure out how to get the local channels. I just didn't want to have to pay extra to watch TV.

I would like to share my amazing experience at the Omni Charlotte Hotel. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and kind. Reginald, the bellman, checked in on us daily and made sure everything with our room and stay was perfect. We had a great stay until our shower/tub faucet flew out of the wall and hit my daughter's foot when she turned on the water. The staff at the desk was very helpful and understanding and said they would speak with the manager to compensate for part of our trip. However we never heard from the manager and when I checked a few days later, again I was told the manager would call and did not receive a phone call. Great hotel, I understand things break but we were unable to shower and we had to leave, a bit inconvenient.

When we went downstairs to the lobby/bar area, a front desk staff asked us to not order anything from the bar. Overall, an extremely disappointing level of service for the price point and advertised amenities.

My family and I stayed at the Omni for to look at rental property as my daughter is moving to Charlotte in February. When we arrived a little early they would not allow us to check in early, even though a room was ready,unless we paid a $50.00 early check in fee. I have never been asked to pay this fee. We walked around a little and retuned a little early and they went ahead and check in.. The walls were thin, but staying on the side with the traffic was loud..The pillows were horrible, no comfort or firmness..it felt as though they put two towels in the pillow case.nothing special just downtown or as they say in uptown.

The hotel system went down. They were unable to check everyone in with a computer system, and they could not print room keys. Despite all of this happening, the staff remained calm and assisted guest as quickly as possible. They continued to smile throughout my whole experience. You can tell that the staff are well trained and great at their jobs!

This Property met the luxury and hospitality expectations. Unfortunately, downtown Charlotte has a bad homeless epidemic. In the bus stop right in front of the hotel driveway, there was a woman living in there, and literally taking bucket baths. We witnessed this all throughout the 3 days of our stay. It is an unfortunate humanitarian crisis, and for out of state visitors like us that are in the city to explore all it has to offer, it felt unpleasant. Other than that, the property felt safe inside. Also pool area won’t be opening until June 2025.

I went to charlotte for “ solo “ getaway/concert so safety was big for me. The Omni hotel definitely made me feel safe. I did not come across one employee who was not kind. Check in/out was easy. Walgreens, Starbucks and chick-fil-a are attached to the hotel which made it convenient if you needed something. Bars and restaurants are walking distance as well. I will definitely be staying at Omni for my next charlotte trip!

Property is very clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms and hallways not well lit. The dim lighting made reading in the room difficult and made hallways feel slightly unsafe. The area around the hotel was quite noisy well after midnight. Yelling and sirens could be heard from our room. I would not have felt safe walking to any of the dining or shopping venues nearby.

My wife and I really enjoyed everything about this hotel. The bar staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was superb. Compliments to the chef which whom we got to be introduced to. Heaven you are an amazing chef!! Thank you for the food experience!!!! Will definitely be back!

The buffet was just so so for the money. Love your hotel. Check in was great!! The lady was awesome. Didn't like that i had to pay $60 for parking after paying over $300. Last time i didn't have to pay for parking. That was one of the reasons we came back. And the amazing check in! That girl was awesome!

Food was great in restaurant but service was not very good! We could have walked out and nobody would have known. Got the buffet and never was acknowledged until I got up to get my own coffee! Bar staff and rooftop bar staff were great! Overall a good stay!!

Very nice property and would stay again. My only complaint was the breakfast. There was no signage or indicator of cost for the breakfast buffet. We were shocked when we received our breakfast bill.

Easy walk to Bank of America Stadium. Plenty of restaurant choices. The hotel was nice and clean. Room was cozy. The bar area was very crowded and the bartenders seemed overwhelmed so they weren’t the most attentive or friendly, but everyone deserves grace. Would definitely stay with Omni again.
