The location was perfect for attending a game at the Bank of America stadium and within walking distance to lots of other areas downtown. Safe and clean, very spacious and the lobby smelled amazing. The only down side was only one elevator was working which made waiting a little longer and the cooling system is a bit dated without a numbered thermostat, only says cooler or warmer. Otherwise it was an awesome stay and we will book it again!!

Pulling in and checking in is very ambiguous. The drive is not well labeled and several of us arriving at same time caused a log jam. One young man at desk for check in with four people arriving at once was not sufficient. I was second…he had me fill out a car pass, but never gave it to me to hang on my vehicle. He also never explained that I had to get a ticket to enter the hotel garage and needed to get a pass each time from the desk to leave. Also, he did not explain I would’ve charged $20/night for parking. I ended up having to pay an additional $20 in order to get out of the garage so I could go back to the desk to get a tag and understand the whole process. Perhaps another person to help with check in would have afforded the young man more time to explain everything during my first time at the desk!

The room was spacious and very comfortable. I usually struggle to sleep on the first night, but the bed was great and the hotel was quiet. Nice to have a bar and restaurant downstairs. Walkable to everything in the city.

The best thing about this hotel is the convenience. I called ahead to ask about parking and was told it would be $20 but nothing about where to park. Upon arrival there was someone taking $10 payments for parking and I spoke with them about how long the parking was good for and they couldn’t tell me a time. I went inside and they told me they’d just give me a $20 credit to cover the $20 they wanted to charge me. The room was big, but outdated. Tiny shower/bath situation. I’d stay again at a cheaper rate but not worth the $217/night I paid.

Ideal location for attending game at BofA Stadium except GPS routes in are blocked by police. It was hard to find someone, police, or hotel, to explain how to we e your way in. Some warning and exp for those of us who book online would avoid frus and wasted time.

We visited Charlotte for a Savannah Bananas game, so the area was packed with visitors. Despite being right in the middle of everything, the staff at the Residence Inn were friendly and made the checkin process quick and painless. Our room was ready on time and very clean. The bed was very comfy! We would definitely stay here again, especially with the proximity to the stadium and ballpark.

The hotel is located very close to the conference center and stadiums which is a plus. But it could use a little TLC! It’s a bit worn in places and attention to detail isn’t up to par. Breakfast was good and our room was spacious.

The location was loud: street noise, rumbling sound from the elevator, loud refrigerator. The bathroom set up leads to the bathroom light shining directly onto the bed: Super inconvenient if someone is trying to sleep. Weirdly, on a Friday night at 8:30 pm, nothing in the area within reasonable walking distance was open to buy a snack, a coffee or a dessert. There were some full service restaurants, but nowhere else. I was told the room was recently renovated but some of the furniture was pretty banged up. The mattress was thin and not very comfortable. I expected more for the price. On a positive note the service was all excellent, from the front desk to the breakfast staff. The continental breakfast was very good also. There were many choices and everything was delicious.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was very good. Clean room. Only complaint is with Expedia. If you book a room, be sure you call the property to verify as I did not get the room I booked as Expedia does not communicate with the hotel and show actually what rooms are booked or not. The staff was very helpful in meeting our needs for this stay.

I chose this establishment because it’s a hop, skip and jump to the BOA stadium. But it was more than that once we checked in. Very friendly staff, clean room and a good breakfast! But one strange thing, I didn’t see an ice machine. Not that that will affect me staying there for future visits, but it just struck me funny. I hope that my husband and I and our friends will continue this new tradition of ours; to come back for Panther football and stay at the Residence Inn.
