Best hotel in marshfield. Staff was friendly. Rooms and hotel were updated and clean. Pool was closed for winter but hot tubs and sauna were still running and it was very refreshing to be in a hot tub in the middle of a snow storm. Breakfast had lots of options. Only reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 on updated is cuz the sauna and hot tub need to be fixed up a bit. Will definitely be booking here on our next dr visit.

The hotel was very nice. We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant on site was closed on Sunday since this was the day of our stay. The outdoor pool area was beautiful! One of the hot tubs and the sauna were temporarily out of order, but the pool, other hot tub and fire pit were lovely. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future.

The overall stay was excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall establishment was well taken care of. My only "complaints" were that the bathtub was very tarnished and the city was hosting a little league tournament so there were a lot of kids (which wasn't a problem) so it was very loud at times. Neither of those things will prevent me from returning.

Room smelt musky. Like it didn’t have any fresh air circulating in it. Or it wasn’t used much. It was clean though. Was up for the weekend for a family wedding. All other members of my family that stayed there had the same complaint about the odor of the rooms. Complementary breakfast was no worth having. Hotel was average or slightly above compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at.

The front desk staff were so friendly and pleasant! Everyone we encountered was so nice. In our room, we found a sock from someone else who must have been in the room before us. We also struggled with the air conditioning in the room. We had it set to 68 but heat kept coming out of the unit near the window.

The only serious negative was the bathtub in the room we were given. It was in need of serious reglazing as the coating was chipping and peeling making it look disgustingly filthy. When I brought it to their attention upon checkout the front desk clerk stated that they’re aware and it along with many others are on the “to do” list. I could not believe that they knowingly let out a room with a tub in that condition!

The overall stay was excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall establishment was well taken care of. My only "complaints" were that the bathtub was very tarnished and the city was hosting a little league tournament so there were a lot of kids (which wasn't a problem) so it was very loud at times. Very nice place, comfortable and clean and definitely does their part to be efficient and less wasteful. The thermostat didn’t seem to stay set no matter what we did ( yes we left the key card in the slot) it just didn’t set. Slept in and missed breakfast.

The beds were quite possibly the hardest beds I have ever had to sleep on. I booked for 4 nights and only ended up staying for 3 because I could not physically take sleeping in that bed any longer. The room smelled like mold and musty. I will never book at that hotel again.

Guy at desk could care less that I had gold status. His comment was- you booked through a third party and didn’t care what I was saying. Never even went over breakfast hours or where it was. I had to ask. The outside of hotel looks terrible. The inside is fine.

I woke up to my Discover credit card alerting me that I was being charged $351 for another room for two nights. I had to call Expedia. They called the hotel and it was rectified. But it was upsetting.

Overall very happy with Hotel Mashfield.. Very clean, friendly staff. We had to stay there because of a family member having a grave medical emergency at the nearby hospital. We were exhausted and starving, surely didn't want to drive or sit in an outside restaurant, only to find out the restaurant was closed on Sunday. This is why I rated it it lower. We picked it because it said it had a restaurant. In our wildest dreams did we think it would be closed.

I absolutely Love this hotel. I discovered it last year and now I plan to come a couple times a year just to relax by the pool. There is not one thing I’d complain about the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is okay. We ordered some appetizers which were delicious! But we ordered steak and one of ours was over done, the potatoes were very very salty we couldn’t eat them and the garden fresh vegetables are frozen broccoli with shredded carrot on top, not good. That’s my only complaint. The staff are absolutely the best! I’ve stayed at “fancy” hotels and never have gotten the service experience you do here. I’ll be back again soon!

It's a decent hotel, but it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. And I didn't think it was worth what they charge. People were great, place is very clean. Two things, should tell people the rest./bar closes at 9 and powdered eggs are gross, not yours specifically, all powdered eggs.
