I chose this property over others in the area because it advertised an indoor heated pool. The pool is too cold to be usable. Even children did not stay in. While there have been some superficial updates, there is more to be done. The staff was good. There were specialty omelets being made to order, but the rest of the breakfast is the same as everywhere else. I was told that the restaurant had great food, but it is very expensive and the only option.

We really enjoyed our stay with Embassy suites by Hilton Philadelphia Valley Forge. The area was close to shopping and restaurants. The accommodations at the hotel were excellent. The gym and crossfit center were very nice. The pool was nice, but the water was very cold. The made to order breakfast was outstanding and the wait time was minimal. Overall, this was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at.

Good hotel stay for families. The included breakfast buffet/omelette station and included parking is an added bonus. The pool is not heated it was unbearably cold. Overall good experience, I would recommend.

The hotel was beautiful and clean. The saltwater indoor swimming pool was very clean too. The restaurant server was extremely friendly and the steaks were amazing. Highly recommend this hotel.

Friendly staff, very clean property, loved the layout of my suite! The food at the restaurant was great and the breakfast was nice too (you can’t go wrong with an omelet station!). The only thing I would suggest is putting another adjustable bench or two in the gym area. This was still a fantastic hotel and I would definitely stay here again!

No complaints except that the “welcome reception” was out of snacks one hour into the 1.5 hour reception. It appeared they had cheese and crackers, veggies and dip and something else. Free beverages including alcohol is very nice but not when you don’t drink alcohol. Would’ve been nice to refill the treats. Didn’t swim at all because the indoor pool was ice cold. Would’ve loved a relaxing swim. I think this is one way that hotels are cutting costs. I notice it a lot.

It is big . People stay away from each other because is a lot space . Small in door cold pool it was disappointing for a big place like this .i think need a arcade room for those rainy days ,and a bingo night to make it more interesting. I will be back . I love the cleaning . Food was very good .

There was no soap at either sinks when we arrived. It took them 2 hours to bring it up. The show was very low pressure with only a very clogged up shower head. Stains on the shower floor. Breakfast was good.

Lobby was well-kept. The rooms on the other hand were shabby at best. Wallpaper and paint were peeling. Windows didn’t fully seal which caused a constant whistling when the wind blew. Shower pressure was non-existent. Sink was partially clogged.

The hotel has a nice modern look & feel and I liked that there were several spacious common areas for team gathering and socializing. I had very little interaction with staff but when I did, they were friendly. However, my room was not clean. Surfaces were dusty. Hair on bathroom floor and sink. Shower curtain moldy. Our bedroom door was busted and wouldn’t shut all the way. Our toilet ran the entire time we were there. I was charged an additional $50 deposit for “incidentals” on a room that clearly already had several incidents prior to my arrival.

Great place to stay with a pet. They are dog friendly and have nice grounds to walk around with them. Breakfast is also decent and they will make a yummy omelet on request. There are often large groups of kids who stay here for sporting events, tournaments on the weekend, but the front room of the suites provide enough sound proofing that that has never been an issue for sleeping. They could stand to clean the rooms a little. I've seen some strange stains on the carpeting, etc. that make it not feel terribly clean.

The negative: Hotel needs updating, bedding and surface area was clean, but lots of dust on unused some area. Walls were dirty. Water damage on ceilings, wallpaper. No coffee available until 7:00am. Staff not very friendly. The positive: Good size room, comfortable bed, quiet rooms, couldn’t hear outside noise, excellent breakfast.

The hotel underwent a huge renovation a few years ago, so it was disappointing to find the closet door frame broken and the shower handle to be loose. It was the little things that were annoying - the toilet ran, the little freezer in the refrigerator was covered in ice, the vents in the bedroom and bathroom were dirty. These didn't inhibit the stay and overall the hotel was clean and comfortable.

Always a favorite place to stay due to the location which is green and quiet, yet really close to KofP Mall shopping and VF Park. The walking trails near the hotel are wonderful to get some fresh air and the hot breakfast included is a true family hit - omelet station is the best! Dislike: The lighting in the rooms is very "cold". Would be more restful if the light bulbs were a warm glow as opposed to the harsh, sanitary, institutional type of light bulbs being used. Love everything else about this hotel.

* The were some spots on the ceiling in the hallway on the top floor that were peeling off probably due to water-damage. Very unsightly. * The first two days of our stay were effectively ruined due to a large "conference(s)/parties" that had congregated in the dining areas late into the night. Since the rooms open up into the open space above the dining areas, the noise went straight to the rooms which offered little to no soundproofing. It was unbearable but there was nothing we could do. A bad choice to come to this hotel at that time and just a bad design of the hotel in general to be so open and not soundproof the rooms.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times now, as it is close to family. We enjoy the spacious rooms and the trails nearby. I do have to say that this time we had a terrible experience with one employee. He was very rude and nasty when I called with a question ahead of time and he hung up on me. His attitude and actions were totally unacceptable and made me consider changing my reservation. That being said, there was a female employee upon check in and check out who was super nice.

Everything was great except around 10:30pm my door was locked and the lights were off and I was already in bed asleep but then I was woken up by my door opening by a staff member without any knocking to check in on us for some reason which I didn’t understand and quite literally spooked us, however everything else was perfectly fine besides that late night spook.

Staff has grace: in check in, managers special attendant, breakfast omelette, and breakfast dish attendant. Impressive! I had guests and took 5 rooms - all spoke highly of the property. Btw, my first time for this brand… I’m more of Marriott and Holiday Inn group.

I have stayed at a number of Embassy Suites and my previous stays were wonderful. This one was disappointing. 1. My room was not cleaned during my stay there, even though it was requested and I was assured it would be taken care of. 2. I was very disappointed in the lack of necessaries available in the room. It has become commonplace in many hotels to cut costs by eliminating the little niceties I have come to expect at hotels of the caliber of an Embassy Suites. Things like extra coffee, soap, glasses, towels, etc. 3. Hotel guests were notified that on Thanksgiving morning, breakfast would be available until 10 am. The staff decided to stop serving early. When guests arrived at 9:30am and the area was closing, a near riot broke out. 4. What happened to bellhops? If this were a Motel 6, I would rate this stay a 5. But it’s an Embassy Suites by Hilton and therefore only deserves a 2.

We had enjoyed our stay the prior year and decided to come back. This stay was a good bit less pleasant: 1. Our original room smelled from gas or paint fumes. We went downstairs right after checking in to ask for a room switch. This was accommodated. We were provided with the new room number and a key. The new room smelled much better. However, for some reason, the room switch wasn't recorded on their system. The following night at 10PM while my wife and I were sleeping, somebody tried to enter our room, pushing the door in with only the door latch we set preventing them from entering. I woke up to find out who was trying to access our room. It was the front desk. They had the room indicated on their system as empty and were trying to find out who was in there. Perhaps there was a system error beyond their control, but I think this could have been handled much better. The whole situation really scared us. 2. The bathroom shower had a shoddy design. The door swung inward and wouldn't stay closed. Therefore, when taking a shower, you were always hitting against the door or the pole against the wall. It was very uncomfortable. It felt like a rushed door repair or shoddy initial construction. 3. There were a lot of younger children at the hotel. Not their fault and the kids were just having fun. However, after 11PM at night, we felt as though the noise should have been toned down. 4. The breakfast buffet was good. Probably the best part of our stay.

What a fabulous hotel in an ideal location. Twenty five of us gathered there a few days for a wedding. Shuttle to venue. Wonderful omelet chef in morning with plenty of other choices. Clean rooms and bedding. Open skylights with lots of seating. If there is one thing it would be the restaurant bar area not open until 5. Accommodating front desk staff. Easy on off highway.
