The pros: Our stay was fine. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. The cons: The pool area needs attention. Four tables; two were broken. Only TWO chairs total. No recliner chairs. The water was clear, but the grounds needed sweeping. The continental breakfast was ok, but could use a little more variety. The waffle maker was the highlight. No bagels, no fruit, no eggs- boiled or otherwise. Overall the stay was fine. We love the Mockingbird theme. We liked the vegetable gardening that we say around the back of the buildings. I’d give our stay a 9 out of 10.

The internet did not work in our room....called front desk they said it worked good up there.....pet friendly but no place to really take your dog out. Used soap in the shower and the toilet paper holder was literally falling out of the wall.

staff was friendly, breakfast 😋 was yummy. very pet friendly, they provided poop bags for puppies for #2. walking area was small but was clean. The rooms where very clean and didnt smell like dogs. kids enjoyed the pool.

Pool was dirty no chairs or umbrellas water very warm. Room had a moldy smell not enough towels for bathing and swimming and when I asked front desk for more she gave me 1 for a family of 3. Room was clean, airplane training very close planes flying low continuously

This used to be a great place to stay. It needs a serious upgrade. Not clean at all. There was hair on toilet, in bathtub and on the floor. My socks turned black just walking to the bathroom. Carpet is black and smells bad. The chair at the desk the seat was broken. Also the door looked as if it had been kicked in, so the door did not shut right or tight. you could see outside and hear all the outside going ons Lastly, the towels were horrible. They were small and rough. Pay a little extra and get a better room someplace else. It was late when I arrived prepaid and couldn’t get a refund.

The room was dirty. Hangers were dusty. Shelves were dusty. The microwave door didn’t close, so it wouldn’t work. Upon my stated concern, the microwave was replaced. But what that tells me is that housekeeping either didn’t clean it, ignored the broken door, or reported it as broken and no one addresses it. The parking lot was full of trash and beer cans. I’m disgusted.

Nothing wasn’t unique. The room was very nasty. The room had a very nasty smell, carpet was vacuum, mirrors wasn’t clean, bathroom was disgusting, tub wasn’t clean hair was everywhere. Floor wasn’t swept or mopped.. around the toilet the bottom still had black spots like mold and urine at the bottom. I will never stay here again just nasty!!

I had to clean the A.C. filters because they were nasty.Room was comfortable.Towels seemed low end!Room price seems a bit High!Lobby clean!For an outside motel it was fairly quite with very little riff raff going on like other hotels in the area.

The room smelled horrible; like mildew maybe but the scent was very strong. It needed to be dusted because it seemed like that room had not been used recently. The front door didn’t seem like it locked securely because you could jiggle it when looked and it seemed like it would open easily.

I rented 2 rooms downstairs and it sounded like construction going on above us all night. There was running, a lot of banging, and extremely noisy all night. I told the desk clerk the next morning and she advised that the people above us were not allowed to return to the hotel. It was awful though and extremely loud even into the wee hours of the night. It was not a pleasant stay and even woke my young grandchildren up in the night.

The beds are extremely comfortable and come with firm and soft pillows. Staff will solve all problems that you have. Also no matter the type of room (suite, 2queens, handicap) all rooms are spacious and uniformed.

Escaped Tallahassee for Hurricane Helene with myself, boyfriend, 3 babies & our dog. We brought lots of toys, a grill and an extra tv. Super spacious. The kids basically had their own living room. Got a Walmart order delivery to grill. Literally the only thing I can think to complain about was the size of the towels. They were small. Enjoyed our stay. We had fun & made memories. Thank you 🙏

From the time we entered the young lady wasn't pleasant. After receiving our key entered room bed was sagging badly,, next entred bathroom towels was brown,. I took towels downstairs to young lady and ahe said they not dirt. I said towels are brown. She finally gave me two more towels dust was everywhere, furniture was very old and beat up. Only thing was good fridge it was excellent

Loved our stay. We stayed for about 2 or so weeks. Staff is so nice & helpful & it’s a nice area kinda as well. Not a whole lot there, small country like area I guess but it is still very very nice.

The staff is super rude. Specially the heavy set girl in the front office. The bathroom toilet was dirty. The walls are dirty as well. No extra pillows. Nobody cleans the rooms: Do yourself a favor and stay away. Rent at the Best Western beside this hotel. It is much better and cleaner.

Told night clerk (doing nothing) that TV didnt work. After an hour, i told her to either move me or fix it so she finally wandered up there. Luke warm water the next morning. Manager/owner came up and argued with me that the water was fine. I checked it after he left and it was still the same. RUDE owner, LAZY & RUDE night clerk. I heard the same clerk tell a lady desperate for towels that "cleaning will be around". Day front desk staff were nice. NIce hotel, terrible management.

the Central location, made it easy to conduct business in Monroeville. The diverse restaurants and proximity to stores was important. The staff was both polite and accommodating as well as friendly. For one guest, it was a first trip to Alabama. They were impressed, and the Mockingbird stay added to that sentiment.
