Hot tub is not in working order. Bathrooms have showers only. Staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Delicious 24 hour coffee is available in the lobby. The staff and coffee make up for the hot tub and shower only. Would recommend to others.

Motel is in midst of major renovation. First floor was a disaster zone. Pool and hot tub are closed as part of the reno. However, this was not mentioned on the reservation site nor was the room price adjusted to reflect some amenities were not available. Room on 2nd floor was recently redone and comfortable. Breakfast was typical but not as good as on previous stays. Suggest calling the motel directly to check on the status of the reno and access to pool and hot tub.

We arrived at the location, there was no where to park on the site. We walked in to the desk, asked about parking, she said we got the last room and said she couldn't help us with parking. We told her we would not be staying there due to safety issues and no parking. She told us three times we were welcome to cancel the reservation and she would refund us. We left, it was 11 pm. We went to another hotel, booked a room on our own, paid, headed to our room when my husband got the call from them that she was not able to refund and we would be charged. Again, we did not stay there at all and are still being charged through you. This is itinerary number 73079567116448. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. Check in was quick & we were greeted with fresh baked cookies. Breakfast service was excellent and tasted great, especially the homemade cinnamon raisin oatmeal. Fitness center equipment could use replacement. Thank you for our stay.

Everything was very outdated and grungy looking. Room walls were very dirty especially by sink area. Coffee and food. Carpet had bad stains throughout. Had to take pictures cause I had pets and didn’t want charged. Staff was excellent and said they were gonna remodel next year. Unexpected $25 per pet charge and they charge a $25 a night incidental fee that gets returned after a couple days they said so it’s a good thing I had the extra money in my account.

Had the “no service/do not disturb” sign out and the hotel staff still tried to enter the room, which was concerning. This was the only issue I had staying here. The property was very clean and everyone very friendly.

A 10. Pool was open( I didn't use it). Breakfast area was clean and attended. Coffee didn't run out, etc.. cereal, waffles, muffins, pastries, fruits, yogurts. No powdered scrambled eggs or sausages in heated pans. if that's your thing, fast food across the street. Absolutely clean bathrooms, rooms and carpets. Amazing how the manager on site makes a difference! Polite and great staff.

Phone did not work. Toilet got backed up. TV wasn’t working when I arrived. Employees were very helpful and took care of my issues right away. I did have to walk to the front desk several times instead of calling because my phone didn’t work. But, I wasn’t very far so it worked out fine. Room was dusty and bathroom floor wasn’t as clean as it could have been. After saying all that, I would stay there again. Customer service was excellent. And the bathroom was clean except for the floor. And it wasn’t bad, it needed swept.

Front desk at check in was great. Room was clean, but very warm and humid. Set it to AC and 66 degrees, and it never kicked on. Had to run just the fan to pull in some of the cooler outside air. Room finally cooled down around 2:30 a.m. One bed was very hard, the other one was better, but anytime you moved on it, it squeaked. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in a hotel, a lot of variety, and the sausage was delicious!

No frills hotel. Front desk clerk was very friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious, bed was fairly comfortable, and it was very quiet. Wifi was bad (8 mbps download speed in room 124). TV has several channels. Would stay here again.

The hotel in general was pretty nice. Our room had a some issues - the sliding door to the bathroom is warped and you can’t get it to close. The shower door doesn’t shut properly, allowing water to get on the bathroom floor, and the bed creeks really bad when you sit on it and get up.

The property met our needs well. We were there 4 nights. On the 3rd night there was a small challenge. The manager was very accessible and immediately resolved our concern. Breakfast was good and a person was always on hand for it. When we requested room cleaning and new towels it was handled in a timely fashion. All the staff was great!!!

It was convenient to highway. We waited for 20 minutes for someone to staff the desk for checking in, along with 10 other guests. Desk associate was very short with us. It must have been a staffing issue.

We don't need a fancy hotel room or perks, but it has to be very, very clean. This was a surprisingly good stay at a very good price! Astonishing value, really. And it met our cleanliness standards. The liquid soap in the bathroom was a nice extra, compared with messy little bar soaps. It is immediately off of I-70 and a pretty busy street, and this area of Topeka apparently is where every young male with a motorcycle congregates. I used earplugs, and with the A/C fan it was fine. Breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, cereal, pastries, yogurt, and fruit. Very pleased, overall! We will stay again.
