Really enjoyed our stay!! Loved the beds in our room we can try using the pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. My son even tried the cold plunge! The staff are very friendly and always asking how you are doing and if you need anything. Great location as we walked everywhere downtown.

Newly renovated top to bottom. Double Queen room is a little snug, but clean and quiet. Pool are is fantastic, they have a cold plunge, two hot tubs, a sauna, and a steam room. Location is great, super walkable everywhere. Staff is friendly. Highly recommended.

Pool was so cold it was unusable. Staff received complaints from many guests and was apathetic. There are better accommodations elsewhere for cheaper. If the pool is the reason you are booking look into The Crimson.

First of all, how is this not the highest rated hotel in Banff? At the price point, this place is incredible. I understand if you like a dusty old chalet style lodge, but that’s not for everyone. Staff were incredible and accommodating, underground parking included, everything was meticulously clean, and no detail was spared in the cohesive aesthetic of this amazing location. The hydrotherapy area was top notch, rivaling many paid spa experiences elsewhere. I will recommend to friends, and I will be back for sure!

Overall a good stay. Some of the front of house staff weren’t super friendly, others were great! It almost seemed as though they were annoyed that we were staying there. Pool facilities were fantastic though. Would definitely stay again just for the pool. The entire family enjoyed it. The bathrooms are tiny and I am a small person. I’m sure the larger rooms, may have bigger bathrooms but I could barely get in without hitting the shower door, I’m 5’1 and petite. Even my kiddos found it tiny. The bar area didn’t have any overhead lighting, which could have been useful in the evening. A table or a desk in the room would have also been a nice touch. This would allow a place for a laptop or to dine in. Again, the larger suites seem to have this. Other standard rooms at other establishments have had at least one or the other. There were also no hooks or a hand towel rail to place a hand towel for drying at the sink area. Just a few of these little touches would have been nice. Overall the design is good and the beds are comfortable. Underground parking is quite low. They also do not have EV chargers. But there was enough parking that we found a spot. Oversized vehicles had to park outside.

We enjoyed how quiet the hotel was considering it was fully booked during the time of our stay. The hallways, lobby, pool area were always very quiet. We traveled with our 11 month old and so the pool and sound machine in the room were great! We will stay here again in the future. The room felt clean and fresh, although the pool floors felt dirty. It was like people were walking in with their outside dirty shoes. Overall a wonderful stay! A new hidden gem in Banff.

More of a motel. Our reservation was for four people yet we had 3 towels and 3 washcloths. The room was wiped down in the obvious areas but there were spiderwebs in the windows, lots of old dust near and behind the dresser. Would not stay again.

The Kenrick reopened in June 2025, after extensive renovations. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully designed. Our only issue with the room was the lack of places to hang a wet towel at the sink, easily resolved with a small rack. The sink is set outside the shower/toilet area, basically in the bedroom, next to the front door. I don't like these set-ups, because if your partner is sleeping, you can't easily use the sink without making noise and turning on a light. That brings up the subject of lighting. The room has nice, but very soft ambient lighting. The light over the sink needs to be much brighter. I found it very hard to put on makeup! Overall, we had a great stay. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The new pool has showers, two hot tubs and two saunas. There are changing rooms and comfortable places to Lounge. Walking to the heart of downtown is 5 minutes, and there's a restaurant attached to the hotel for pretty good meals. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance. If you're not staying at the iconic Banff Springs Hotel, The Kenrick is a great alternative.

Property had all the things we like about a great place to stay. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, great wifi, very comfortable beds. However to our liking the pillows were just a bit too hard. We really liked the fact we could walk downtown for shopping and dining. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay at the High Country Inn again.

Sony was the person working the front desk and She made us feel very welcomed to the hotel. She answered all our questions and queries, which made our stay Perfect! The kids also loved the pool!! Would recommend and stay again!

They are all mixed up in the billing a big mess still waiting to be resolved very upset. I reserved 2 rooms one for me and my spouse for 2 nights and one night for my son. I stated on arrival that I was paying for the 2 rooms as my son just had a birthday and the free room was for that.They billed him for half of my stay (one night) and billed me for all three what a mess still not fixed although on departure told me all fixed.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The water spa was incredible- best facility that I have ever experienced at a hotel. Modern, impeccably clean, all the options you want- pool, sauna, cold plunge, steam room, private cabana area, drink service. Just excellent! Marc J, the Manager, was so welcoming and friendly. He even helped us book dinner reservations for the following night. The restaurant next door , The Fat Ox, had delicious food- had GF pasta with elk bolognese sauce!! Sooooo good. Thank you to the staff at The Kenrick!!

The room and the hotel was not worth paying $879.55 per night. The bathroom was tiny, the sinks were on the outside. Overall the room did not feel luxurious at all, their service wasn’t great either. The location is good and the pool was okay.

The staff were amazing and so helpful from the moment of arrival. We arrived early and they gave us a parking pass so we didn't have to worry about parking. They contacted us when our room became available. They also helped with tickets and transportation to the Banff Gondola sunset times.

Rooms are clean and very spacious with great decor and finishes. Love the hydrotherapy amenities and appreciated the adult hours between10pm-midnight. Overall a good stay. Some of the front of house staff weren’t super friendly, others were great! It almost seemed as though they were annoyed that we were staying there. Pool facilities were fantastic though. Would definitely stay again just for the pool. The entire family enjoyed it. The bathrooms are tiny and I am a small person. I’m sure the larger rooms, may have bigger bathrooms but I could barely get in without hitting the shower door, I’m 5’1 and petite. Even my kiddos found it tiny. The bar area didn’t have any overhead lighting, which could have been useful in the evening. A table or a desk in the room would have also been a nice touch. This would allow a place for a laptop or to dine in. Again, the larger suites seem to have this. Other standard rooms at other establishments have had at least one or the other. There were also no hooks or a hand towel rail to place a hand towel for drying at the sink area. Just a few of these little touches would have been nice. Overall the design is good and the beds are comfortable. Underground parking is quite low. They also do not have EV chargers. But there was enough parking that we found a spot. Oversized vehicles had to park outside.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The water spa was incredible- best facility that I have ever experienced at a hotel. Modern, impeccably clean, all the options you want- pool, sauna, cold plunge, steam room, private cabana area, drink service. Just excellent! Marc J, the Manager, was so welcoming and friendly. He even helped us book dinner reservations for the following night. The restaurant next door , The Fat Ox, had delicious food- had GF pasta with elk bolognese sauce!! Sooooo good. Thank you to the staff at The Kenrick!!

Very large room, with separate bedroom & living area. Friendly & helpful staff. No safe in the room. No dining in the hotel. Washing machines not working. A bit far to walk to downtown. Too many steps to our room, all on the 2nd floor, not the stairs from one floor to the next floor.

Hotel novíssimo, com poucas semanas de uso. Super bem localizado no melhor ponto de Banff. Instalações super confortáveis, modernas e de bom gosto. Dois pontos a melhorar: o chuveiro é ruim (sai pouca água, um sacrifício lavar cabelo longo) e o restaurante indicado pelo hotel (The Fat Ox) é péssimo (me serviram frango cru) e caro. Recomendo muito.

The Kenrick reopened in June 2025, after extensive renovations. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully designed. Our only issue with the room was the lack of places to hang a wet towel at the sink, easily resolved with a small rack. The sink is set outside the shower/toilet area, basically in the bedroom, next to the front door. I don't like these set-ups, because if your partner is sleeping, you can't easily use the sink without making noise and turning on a light. That brings up the subject of lighting. The room has nice, but very soft ambient lighting. The light over the sink needs to be much brighter. I found it very hard to put on makeup! Overall, we had a great stay. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The new pool has showers, two hot tubs and two saunas. There are changing rooms and comfortable places to Lounge. Walking to the heart of downtown is 5 minutes, and there's a restaurant attached to the hotel for pretty good meals. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance. If you're not staying at the iconic Banff Springs Hotel, The Kenrick is a great alternative.

The hotel was undergoing a major renovation project, so there was lots of noise and activity throughout the day, but all was quiet during the evening. We missed having a restaurant available for breakfast, buy it wasn’t too far to walk downtown.

We loved everything about this hotel from the lobby to our room … and the jacuzzi hot tub. The Mountain View’s from the room were amazing. The staff gave us text access to connect with any needs and were very responsive. The beds were comfortable, and the room was decorated perfectly. The hotel is in a great location that give you great walk ability to Banff.
