One Sky Loft

This is a facility airb&b style where you have to check in previously to your arrival. You don't have a desk or a clerk to interact with. .You need a code to open the entrance door or your room door. This is not a regular hotel. I didn't know how to request anything. The facility was nice and clean, but customers need to be inform of this particularity.

The property was great, mostly. The convertible sofa bed functions poorly as both a sofa and a bed, but overall the room was great. The issue we had is that the smoke alarm was going off continuously when we arrived. Because they don’t have anyone in the apartment complex to handle maintenance, we had to listen to a very loud alarm for over two hours and then the men that arrived to fix it were very rude. They said that one of the smoke detectors had been removed because the former client had smoked. But it wasn’t going off at first, it started about 25 minutes into our stay. Also, why didn’t they reinstall it? How long does the alarm have to go off before fire department personnel to show up? Because none ever did. And why were there two detectors sitting on top of the fridge when we arrived? Where did the second one come from? It seemed like this was a recurring issue. It definitely ruined our first night of vacation and we were offered a complimentary late checkout as the only compensation. We declined. Book at your ears’ risk.
