Only booked this place cause said they had laundry. nope that was a lie out of service. Whole place is destroyed floors deteriorating and falling apart. Smells different smell from room to room and the hallway just has a musky odor roaming as well. One of many place I won’t be staying ever again and contacting the bbb about it.

The hotel was conveniently located of the NY Thruway. The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel needs an overhaul. The rug in our room had to be over 40 years old. I cant say it was stained but the room had a musty old smell. The bathroom sink and tub were definitely from the 80s. No matter how much you scrub it wont come clean. We could hear the noises from the room above us. A staff member entered our room without knocking. The vending machines were empty. No water. Ive been to nicer budget hotels. This one was overpriced for what you got.

The air conditioner in our room was making a loud noise making it unable to be used. We switched our original room because of a dampness smell which could affect my wife's asthma. The second room we were shown smelled like dirty feet. Only the compassion of the female desk clerk allowed us to at least get a cleaner, non odorous room. She was extremely diligent and supportive. The room was on the second floor and the facility had no elevator, The dining "room" was too small and the breakfast served leaved a lot to be desired. Also the vending machine was totally empty for snacks. Housekeeping did not clean our room after the first night. Overall a regretful experience except for the desk clerk.

Terrible is the word. Filthy is another. The carpets are a horror. Woke up in the night to find a mouse in the bathroom. Smelled nasty throughout, no elevator, the list goes on.

It was a good trip. The bed was very comfortable! The room was nice and clean but definitely needed some updating. There was a hole in the wall behind the bed, which I could only see because I was looking for an outlet. The lamp on the nightstand was rusted on the bottom but other than that very comfortable. I would only suggest cleaning the rugs in the hallways and stairs. They were really dirty and had a little musty smell but not in the room itself.

The front desk staff were cordial and friendly, however the hotel room and its surroundings were quite an abomination. The room was filthy and smelly and unkept. There were problems with almost every aspect of the room’s condition. The bed was very uncomfortable, all of the furniture, walls carpets were stained and chipped. The shower had no real functional head and the tub mat was old and slippery. It was not a pleasant experience. This hotel needs to be checked for quality control and safety.

Our first room had a mouse. Second room was old and not updated. Spots on carpet, bathroom door didn't close all the way, toilet didn't flush well, you had to hold handle until it all went down, fridge was not very cold and no knob to adjust temp.

Pretty basic, but fine for one night. Staff was fine - honestly not a lot of contact other than check in and out. Property could use a little work by a handyman, but everything worked. Bed was fine, hot water worked, TV / Cable worked. Nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room. Neighborhood felt safe, and was within easy access of highway. All good.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The hotel needs an upgrade. Hello 1975... You can see where shoddy repairs were done on the walls. The lamps were rusty too. The carpets are smelly and disgusting. The hallway smelled bad. The plumbing needs an upgrade. Be prepared for the water to turn scalding hot or icy cold during your shower. I had to jump out of the shower the water got so hot-and I like hot showers.... The toilet handle must be held down until the flush is complete.

Front desk was very helpful, but the rooms were very dated. The sink in the room was clogged and the toilet took forever to flush. The room above us sounded like they were moving furniture and the floors sqeaked with every footstep. The room next door had kids and it was so loud, paper thin walls.

Good value for the area. This time of year, anything west of the expressway required multiple day stays and was double the price (at least). A little dated, but everything worked. Could have used a charging port or two, or even some convenient plugs. Hot water was great.

One thing that really irritates me is when room don't have complete coverage of the widows for privacy, but also for keeping the light out of the room so you can sleep in a dark environment. The neighbor had a very bright light that shined into the room making it hard to sleep.

JUst an OK hotel. The toilet in my room kept running on and off for four days which became very annoying at night because it was noisy. The room was clean, but everything is outdated and the lamps in my room were showing signs of rust. There was no closet and the coat rack they had set up was just above the refrigerator, microwave, and safe, which made it impossible to hang anything up. The weekend breakfast offered is a nice selection of donuts from a local bakery which was very good. On weekdays it's just some prepackaged muffins and granola bars.

The good: the bed, the TV and the cleanliness were fine. The Bad: 1) the only outlet in the room was by the bathroom sink. I had to go out to Harbor Freight to purchase an extension cord just to charge my phone by the bed. 2) My first room, #204 had NO wifi whatsoever. I had to repack and change rooms closer to the office and then it was fine. 3) There is essentially no breakfast. The bagels never arrived. There were pre-packaged blueberry muffins and granola bars. DON'T advertise a free breakfast when it's only a grab and go. 4) I will never stay at a Super 8 ever again as this 2 night stay cost me $378.00 which was absolutely not worth it.

Well, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room stank of bleach and was very damp. Even with the air and the bathroom fan running the entire weekend, it took days to not have the carpet and bedding feel damp to the touch. Nothing was broken, but nothing was quite right either. The mini fridge was iced over. The tv color was distorted. The walls had patched holes that weren’t painted over. The bathroom grout was aged. Breakfast was included, but get there early and you better like bagels! It was not loud. But it was definitely dated and very very worn out.

Staff is very friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very clean. Microwave and refrigerator were spotless. Since it is animal friendly, there are no carpets on the floors. The Continental Breakfast was very nice offering: instant oatmeal, muffins, a variety of breakfast bars, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, tea, & hot chocolate. I would stay there again.

We waited for 30 minutes to check in since several others seemed to be having difficulty and frustrations in their check in process. We were finally assigned a room, but discovered that our shower did not work. We were told that we would have to wait for about 30 minutes to get a room with a working shower. Two hours went by, and I tried several times to ask about their progress, but I was told that they were very busy with other customers and to go back to my room. The manager had my sympathy initially, but he quickly turned on me with snide comments and completely unprofessional behavior, telling me that he would solve my problem, "in 15 minutes or maybe two hours, but that it might take three hours," if "I stood in front of him instead of going back to my room so he could work." Lots more We decided we absolutely had to leave and find another hotel.

Made my reservation 3 or 4 weeks in advance...made the 3.5 hr trip to get there...only to find our they had an issue and gave my room away to someone else...didnt even call me about it or anything. Had me drive another 30 mins to a sister hotel and i was told they cant do anything about, if i wanted a reservation, it had to be at least two nights for $300/night. Then i was left with no room to stay and all they could say was im sorry. Never going back.

I stay here every time I am in Kingston. It is very budget friendly and is a good deal for the price. It is not a fancy place but comfortable. The bed was great, the heat was pumping and the water pressure was excellent. The staff was also incredibly helpful and attentive.

Check-in was a long and confusing process, exceeding 30 minutes. The manager acted unprofessionally towards other customers in front of us, behing their backs. That didn't instill trust that the same wouldn't be done towards us. The stairs and hallways were worn and uneven. Not good for someone with mobility problems. There were no acccessible electrical sockets next to the beds. The room was acceptibly clean. At 10am on day of check-out, a member of the housekeeping staff used her key to entef our room without knocking. I was in the process of getting dressed, so half-naked. When she saw me she said, "Sorry, I was just checking." I reported this to reception, but was given the excuse that the computer system was out. I said, "you don't need a computer to knock." The manager was not on site by the 11am checkout. I feel I should be compensated for this violation of my privacy and dignity.

We arrived the evening before our daughter’s graduation and were told that “a reservation didn’t mean a room was saved for us”. After confirming that our reserved room had been given away, we went back to our vehicle to search for another hotel. The manager followed us to the parking lot, yelling and threatening us, all the while waving his lit cigarette around. My 91 year old father was extremely disturbed by this encounter.

This Super 8 is right next to the O&W Trail which is in the process of being improved and expanded. Great cycling and great place to plan a loop right out the O&W and back the Empire State Trail / Walkill Valley Rail Trail. City of Kingston also has some much improved cycling - though be careful on busy Washington Avenue - which is right by the Motel! Also a short ride or walk to great food, shopping and people watching on and off N. Front Street. Motel itself isn't the Hilton, could use some updating but was just fine otherwise and staff were friendly.

Let’s start with the good stuff. The staff was friendly and helpful, and housekeeping was excellent. My room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. There was an in-room coffee maker that made decent coffee (but I put in very little water to make it strong). The property itself is just outside of town, but feels distant, and nothing seems walkable. The building is old and badly in need of updating, both inside and out. There weren’t a dozen cars in the parking lot but one door had a sign declaring no vacancy. To be honest, it didn’t feel quite safe. Okay for a quick stop (it’s very near the highway) as a single guy, but I would hesitate to recommend for families.

Very loud... There's a business next door so sleeping past 6am is not an option. Breakfast was not what you expect. The room you could tell had water damage on pieces of the furniture, the bed was uncomfortable and the room smells like cigarettes really bad.

+ Close to center - Outdated rooms (walls, ceiling) and old, wobbly furniture. King size bed was not true king size (2x twin size) and unsteady. No noise insulation. Anything on the floor above us was audible. - breakfast was supposedly included. Forget it! Okay …there was coffee/tea and a basket of small sized cheap wrapped blueberry muffins. Nothing else was offered. Guess the toasters present were on strike too

Front desk guy discouraged check in, he said this is broken hotel and not safe for families. Then we said we have already paid, then he showed dirty rooms so that i do not check in. But at last we checked in and the stay was good. Breakfast was so poor. Only muffins and coffee and orange juice.

Staff was atrocious. I mean quit your job if you’re that miserable. A muffin is not a breakfast, what’s the point of having a toaster if you don’t have bread. I instantly regretted my choice. The carpets stink, humidity is high, ventilation is the room was deficient. It was clean. Bed was good. That’s it.

I stayed here mainly cause it was a cheaper hotel, but sometimes cheap doesn't mean much. Two of the outlets weren't working properly, the tv remote didn't work and the fire alarm was tripped by accident in the early morning. The website said it's got a continental breakfast, but that needs to be updated that they only have pre-packaged breakfast snacks available. Rather misleading.

The room was clean and the hotel was quiet, just what you want when trying to get a good nights sleep. The “free breakfast “ consisted of watered down orange juice or lemonade, coffee some teas and pre made mini blueberry muffins. But I wasn’t looking for a great breakfast just a good hotel to stay in for a few days and not pay the expensive price it would have cost to stay in Woodstock.
