Cons: Too noisy to leave side or ocean facing windows/balcony doors open in eve (bldg a/c wasn't working so this became an issue) Side balconies have easy access to each other, & no in-room safe, so not secure to leave window open when you're out. The pool is small, & in close/full view of restaurant diners. Awkward set-up, didn't see anybody use. Wifi worked first 1.5 days, then was patchy at best after that. Would I stay again? Not if I wanted a pool, but probably otherwise depending on which room.

Relación precio calidad: está bien, las instalaciones están un poco deterioradas, el centro histórico está muy cerca es tranquilo. TACHA, X, X, X, NO TIENE ESTACIONAMIENTO. Solo por eso la pensaría para volver, todo lo demás con relacion calidad precio está bien.

Great little hotel with ocean view rooms in Olas Altas, Mazatlán. Just a few blocks from Plaza Machado. No elevator, and not a place to spend quiet time, if that's what you're looking for. On-site bar and restaurant with a nice happy hour. The place has loads of charm and character, but if you're looking for sleek and modern, look elsewhere.

Room & location was wonderful. All the front desk staff was super rude. Pretty sure they don't like Americans. We're very stingy about pool towels and ran out even though hardly anyone was there as guests. They advertised hamburgers and other food EVERY DAY but it was never available. Besides that......we loved the charm of the open area bar and beach view and location! Super clean

The location and the staff are the best things about this hotel. There are few amenities and the hotel is older for sure. No ice machine. Stairs only. Stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the oceanfront balcony. Bring ear plugs to sleep.

Muy ruidoso el hotel, tienen la musica demasiado fuerte y la quitan hasta 11 de la noche o más, cuando hablamos con la recepción fueron muy groseros y no ayudaron, la ubicacion es buena aunque el hotel esta un poco descuidado y sucio, nos tocó ver algunas cucarachas en el cuarto.

No coffee pot which sucks because none of the coffee places is open till 7 AM.. the beds could use an upgrade and be softer however, the cost was effective so you just pick your battles. Well to begin with i was giving a room 2nd floor ,and by the entrance there was 4 bags full of beer cans n trash,disgusting smell ,lots of mosquitos,bathroom humid n smelly,beds old and hard couldnt sleep right,also the pool water was dark n dirty

Great central location on Olas Altas. Love the atrium courtyard. But ... Rock music until 11:30 pm kept us from sleeping. Room looked clean but didn't smell clean. This is an old hotel. However, the security guard Juan was very helpful pointing out where to eat and buy stuff, getting us taxis, etc.

Front staff speak no english? Internet was out a few days? Area is beautiful, easy to get around! Lots of great restaurants... Floor in room was not cleaned and towels were streaked with stains... Noisy on the malacon but worth the view!!!

This is a great place to stay in Mazatlan. It is close to everything. It is right on the beach. I loved just sitting on the balcony watching the waves. The hotel is old and is showing signs of wear. The cable TV system kept freezing making it impossible to watch. The place is basic, but it is well cared for. Absolutely bring ear plugs. It is not the hotel's fault that locals like to BLAST music when they drive and could care less if others are sleeping. It is a nice place and simply the best location.

Only stay here if you can deal with a massive party every evening; on the streets and inside the open air courtyard of the hotel. Rooms are dated but the ac worked flawlessly! We would not stay here again.

Location of this hotel was the best part. Our ocean view room on the 3rd floor was spectacular. We sat out on our little balcony enjoying a drink and watching the world go by on our tMalecón many times.

This is a nice little hotel located right on the Malecon. The view is fantastic as was the people watching from my sea view room. The street noise however can be a bit much. That said, I was there on Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos celebrations. The staff were very friendly especially Martin at reception and Juan the doorman. They were quick to help when I needed anything. and had great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The pool was beautifully kept, the room was clean and comfortable, but could use a bit of updating. Air conditioning worked great.

No safe! Great breakfast! Very nice workers! Can be noisy at night on the Plaza, and after parties until late. Pack earplugs if you’re disturbed by partiers. We were their over New Years so partying is expected! Room was nice, toilet paper very soft & no fragrance!!! No window opening to outside, If you open up windows to hallway people can look in 😜. Patio on roof needs cushions on chairs. More people might hang out then. Nice unused space! Rooms are small, no dressers to put clothes in! Hard to unpack. There is a desk for computer or whatever. Very clean. Hotel has a unique atmosphere with the decorating! Nice restaurant on the plaza!

Desde que llegamos el trato fue súper amable, nos dieron tips, nos aconsejaban y siempre estuvo alguien disponible. La ubicación es excelente, porque puedes moverte hacia todos lados, cerca del centro, frente al malecón y está una de las playas en frente también. Es muy seguro y al rededores también. Solo un leve detalle con la puerta del baño que no cerraba el seguro, pero nada que hiciera una mala experiencia. Dentro hay un restaurante de hamburguesas, uno de bebidas, una farmacia y uno de postres; los fines de semana hay música en vivo. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
Desde que llegamos el trato fue súper amable, nos dieron tips, nos aconsejaban y siempre estuvo alguien disponible. We stayed for 2 weeks and loved it!! The street noise everyone posts about is crazy loud but luckily we sleep threw anything so it didn’t bother us. Martin at the front desk was amazing. He went above and beyond. Always had great suggestions and helped us with the best ways to see or do things.

The staff members were amazingly helpful and friendly! Javier is a great bartender who made us feel very welcome! The location is excellent with lots to do and see. The hotel has a cool vibe to it and is quite safe. Would highly recommend staying here.

This is a great place to stay in Mazatlan. It is close to everything. It is right on the beach. I loved just sitting on the balcony watching the waves. The hotel is old and is showing signs of wear. The cable TV system kept freezing making it impossible to watch. The place is basic, but it is well cared for. Absolutely bring ear plugs. It is not the hotel's fault that locals like to BLAST music when they drive and could care less if others are sleeping. It is a nice place and simply the best location.

The A/C worked well and it is right across the street to the Boardwalk (Malecon). You can walk safely on the Malecon 24 hours a day. It was great.

Location of this hotel was the best part. Our ocean view room on the 3rd floor was spectacular. We sat out on our little balcony enjoying a drink and watching the world go by on our tMalecón many times.

Hola! Es un hotel que ya hemos estado anteriormente, nos gusta lo que nos ofrece, esta a unos pasos del mar, buen ambiente, muy buen servicio (la recepcionista nos puedo mover de cuarto cuando se lo solicitamos con vista al mar) buen disposición, también esta cerca del centro histórico y puedes salir a caminar por el malecón. Muy recomendado para aquellos que les gusta caminar por las calles. Buen ambiente familiar.

This is a nice little hotel located right on the Malecon. The view is fantastic as was the people watching from my sea view room. The street noise however can be a bit much. That said, I was there on Halloween and Dia de Los Muertos celebrations. The staff were very friendly especially Martin at reception and Juan the doorman. They were quick to help when I needed anything. and had great recommendations for restaurants and activities. The pool was beautifully kept, the room was clean and comfortable, but could use a bit of updating. Air conditioning worked great.

We loved Hotel La Siesta. It has a beautiful atrium with a nice restaurant. We ate breakfast there every day. The seaside rooms are amazing! Huge patio doors open to a nice but small balcony so close to the sea wall and ocean. The hotel is in the historic district. I don't think you could get a room any closer to the ocean!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a convenient location as you could walk to numerous dining locations and there was dining on location. You could also walk right across the street to the beach. I would have liked a refrigerator in my room but that was my fault as I didn't think to ask for one, I don't know if they had it.

Great little hotel with ocean view rooms in Olas Altas, Mazatlán. Just a few blocks from Plaza Machado. No elevator, and not a place to spend quiet time, if that's what you're looking for. On-site bar and restaurant with a nice happy hour. The place has loads of charm and character, but if you're looking for sleek and modern, look elsewhere.

Room & location was wonderful. All the front desk staff was super rude. Pretty sure they don't like Americans. We're very stingy about pool towels and ran out even though hardly anyone was there as guests. They advertised hamburgers and other food EVERY DAY but it was never available. Besides that......we loved the charm of the open area bar and beach view and location! Super clean

Las habitaciones son lindas y limpias. Tiene buena ubicación. El servicio en el restaurante tambien muy bueno, rápido, la comida rica. Las chicas del lobby muy atentas y amigables al igual que el personal de vigilancia. Totalmente recomendado.

No safe! Great breakfast! Very nice workers! Can be noisy at night on the Plaza, and after parties until late. Pack earplugs if you’re disturbed by partiers. We were their over New Years so partying is expected! Room was nice, toilet paper very soft & no fragrance!!! No window opening to outside, If you open up windows to hallway people can look in 😜. Patio on roof needs cushions on chairs. More people might hang out then. Nice unused space! Rooms are small, no dressers to put clothes in! Hard to unpack. There is a desk for computer or whatever. Very clean. Hotel has a unique atmosphere with the decorating! Nice restaurant on the plaza!

The hotel has an excellent location right in front of the malecon were you can enhoy beautiful sunsets. It is walking distance to charming Mazatlan downtown Centro Histórico. The hotel is old and could use a nice upgrade but it is very clean and the staff is very friendly.

Building is a little outdated but it's in ok conditions. Customer service was good and room was clean. My only complaint was the bed. It was pretty hard. The view is stunning though and close to everything.

This property is old but clean. It is quite quaint and lovely. The front desk staff were very nice. The bartender Luis was amazing! Wonderful, friendly man and best margaritas and Pina Coladas we have had in Mazatlan. The only downside for us was the lack of an elevator and it is very loud at night as it is on the Malecón. We would stay here again! The location is wonderful! Close to everything! The views from the patio are also incredible!
