I booked this reservation over a month in advance, I’d like to say 2 months almost. Once I checked in, Owen helped me. He was rude off the start. I asked if there was a possibility of being in a room facing the city/ ocean side. He said the room he was giving me was their last one. I said if there’s anything he can find please, he chuckled and said there’s nothing left. I said ok and asked if the pool was working, he said no. I asked if he knew when it would be up and running again since I’d be there for more than one night. He said “I don’t know you could keep checking”. I was caught off guard but I had been on the road for so long so I brushed it off. He abruptly asked if I was parking in their garage, I asked if there was a fee. He said yes there’s an additional fee or if not I could find somewhere else. I asked if I’d be able to park outside and he said he said he didn’t know and to follow whatever the street signs say. I said okay and just grabbed my keys and went to my room. No friendliness, information about the amenities, parking, or my stay (unless I asked). The next day I had gone to the front desk to request more towels, as I waited in line overheard him speaking to a Spanish speaking older guest and as the guest was struggling to explain an issue. Owen looked at him and said “I can’t understand anything you’re saying”
