Quality Inn Greenville near University

Did not have venfing machines or ice machines conviently located there. Actually absent.

Friendly check-in; rooms are kept clean; waffle breakfast. Beds are comfortable and rooms include microwave and fridge. A favourite for workers who are traveling. Restaurant options are walkable, and an easy drive to the medical centre. For comfort and ease - a better option than Microtel on the other side of the Medical Center.

The desk clerk was phenomenal. Grounds were sketchy and they lock the lobby for security reasons.

Overall decent i just felt it could of been more clean and pool also need a update with more chlorine.

Rooms were clean and beds comfortable- however it was mid June and the pool was not open yet. Breakfast was a joke. Two bananas, a few choices of yogurt, waffle maker and old cereal. I asked for a room that was quiet and we were placed next to the gym (which was a hotel room that had been converted). I asked to be moved and the lady at the desk accommodated me, but was not friendly about it. So overall, I would sleep here again, if the price was reduced because of the poor amenities.

Very friendly staff. Older motel but taken care of. Loved the picnic area for tailgating!

Safety and security of the property. No noise!!! Very peaceful.

The room was not clean. There was holes in the tub The water took time to go down There was stains on the sheets and blanket. I was tired from my long drive is the only reason I stayed I will never stay again.

Parking was good. The room was nonsmoking but smelled badly of smoke. There was hair on towels and sheets. The bed was pretty comfortable.

Staff was courteous. The room needed attention. I found candy bars under the cushions of the couch. Floors needed to be swept or vacuumed.

The rooms and beds were filthy. Old used bandaids in the bathroom sink, bed lines had recent stains and the hotel is old and smells.

The standard of the room was horrible the tub mat was dirty I had to clean it my self and all the light fixtures were dirty with hand prints all over them the bed had hair in it and I’m a housekeeping manager for Marriott and the condition of this room would have passed inspection

Room was not cleaned at all. Hair was in sink, in shower, on floor, AND in BED! VERY visible!!

Floor was unswept, caulking in the bathroom was really dirty, several places on the wall and bathroom door had what appeared to be mucous, blood or other body excretion. Door was hard to lock and was very loose. There was a large gap under the door too. Lots of age on this place, not a great area of town. Sorry I made the mistake and booked it. Ended up leaving after 10 minutes and found a room somewhere else.

The hotel was extremely dirty, there were hair balls on the bathroom floor, mold in the bathroom tub, the toilet would not flush and a plethora of people hanging outside of the floor the room was on.. the fact that I DID NOT stay after paying $200 and checked out immediately.. I was told I would only get a PARTIAL REFUND.. which is INSANE.. but nevertheless.. I traveled from Jersey for a funeral, only to be met with this.. good luck staying here😡

There were stains on the walls, ceiling, and bed sheets. The bathroom had visible debris - clearly it wasn’t swept or mopped properly. The room smelled like someone smoked on it even though it was designated as non smoking. By 8:30 am, there was hardly any breakfast left. Happy to share pictures, but don’t see the option.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. However, the room we were in was a non-smoking room, but it had a strong smell of cigarettes or pot smoke that was quite noticeable when we entered. I was okay with it, but I wanted the hotel to be aware of the smell before we occupied the room to avoid being charged a $150 cleaning fee. So, I picked up the room phone to call the front desk, but discovered that the phone didn’t work. I then used my cell phone to call the hotel, and they informed me that our room was adjacent to a smoking room, which explained the smell. Despite this issue, the hotel had some positive aspects. The towels and linens were new and looked very clean. The room was clean, and the maid service was satisfactory. The air conditioning was older and therefore noisy, but it kept the room comfortable. The breakfast served from 7 to 10 am was good but had limited options. There was cereal, fresh waffles, prepackaged sausage biscuits, muffins, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, and juice. In my opinion, the price for the room was high for the value we received. However, we were happy to have a room close to campus during Family Weekend at ECU. We had booked it months in advance and were told that we had gotten a really good rate.

It was just okay and wouldn’t be my first choice for a hotel. Rooms are outdated and blankets are very thin.

Beds and pillows so soft -you put your head and start going down slowly at 0 level also mattress go down and can not have nice sleep. My wife could not sleep at all.

The Quality Inn is nothing fancy, but it certainly is a very clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms are a nice size and beds were super comfy!

Room had a smell of sewage and it got worst after the shower was used

Room was comfortable TV options were none existent couldn’t get anything but TBS bathroom could be cleaner but worked for us couple of nights

The room was ok, the beds, the bathroom, and the things inside the room. But the walls are too thin and we can hear everything from the rooms beside us (the TV, when they walk, talk, bathroom) so it was difficult to sleep late at night and early in the morning because of the quality of the walls

The internet didn’t work half the time. And they came to clean my room at 4 pm when I had just returned from my daily activities.

It was almost 2am and no one was at the check-in door to get us all checked in. We had to ride around to find another hotel. Luckily we went to the Comfort Inn (which is in the same franchise as the Quality Inn), and the young man there kindly got in contact with the guy who was supposed to check us in and we had to travel back there to get all checked in. It was very aggravating and frustrating at 2am trying to get situated to settle in for the night. Very disappointing.

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived and the entire hotel was locked. We waited over 30 minutes for the front desk person to return - other guests were waiting too. The front desk person had left the property!! The rooms are also ALL motel style, with exterior doors facing the parking lot, street, etc. and it did not say that in the description. The room itself was somewhat updated & clean.

I stayed 3 nights. I came down from Pennsylvania to visit my daughter at ECU. I made the office aware in the morning that my sink was clogged and the sink wasn't going down. I was told that maintenance would be right up to unclog it. I was in my room for 2 more hours before I had to l no one came. I came back 5 hours later and the sink was still clogged. When I checked out. I told the office that no one came to my room, and was told the owner would call me, but after a week, no one has called. What the Quality Inn doesn't understand is my daughter is a freshman, and I will be making multiple trips a year to visit her. So yes, I could be a repeat customer, if I am taking care of. Why would I go back to a hotel who doesn't care about their guests?

The young woman with whom I checked in was extremely rude. Obnoxious.

The place was convenient, clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and welcoming.

Took 30 minutes to get checked in while the receptionist chatted with with her coworker and ate fries behind the desk. Housekeeping broke and stole personal property. GM then did not get back to me regarding this issue and has refused reimbursement.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Checked in and upon checkin they treat you like a criminal with a checkin behind the glass. Ok fine. Got our room, drove to it to find a table and party set up in the parking lot directly in front of our room! Went right back to the office and asked for a different room which she gave me. Went to the room to find the door lock doesn’t work and the pillows on the bed are the square sofa pillow size! I called the front desk to ask for 2 regular sized pillows and he said let me check then said ok I have them and I said ok so you’ll bring them to the room? He laughed at me and said um no! I said oh ok nice so I went and picked them up. I asked why he couldn’t bring them and he said well if we didn’t do our job and have pillows for you then I would. I told him you have small square sofa pillows on our bed, those are not bed pillows! He dismissed me and said are we done, did we complete your request!? Omg I can’t believe we were treated this way here! I am calling customer service tomorrow once we check out to make the formal complaint! I will never stay with quality inn again or any of there other properties!

Customer service was awesome. Rooms were clean. Easy access to parking.

The front desk staff was really nice. Something that you would expect from a hotel answered all my questions with no problem and was really nice room was nice and clean. No problems at all. I have stayed at this motel plenty of times and every time there is a different room I have never had a problem. I haven’t seen any bugs and it’s comfortable will definitely be to my go to place even when I feel like I just need to get away.

Not bad for a quick stay. Staff could be more friendly. The cameras around the property felt secured. But that didn’t stop strangers from coming onto the property seeking and soliciting inappropriate things and drugs.

I have diet issues so having a refrigerator is critical for me the bonus was it had freezer too. They had microwave too which I have to have. They staff are friendly I was visiting my grandson at the University. I will be staying there 3 times they remember me when I call. Free breakfast and the location was perfect in Greenville NC food places were all around the hotel. Easy parking. I felt safe because I was by self the last two stays

Even tho some of the area is considered dodgy, I have always felt safe here because a lot of work crews also stay here and they look out for each other.

I liked the area close to the hospital and food places

While they offered a free breakfast, the menu consisted of two breakfast cereals, green bananas and a waffle maker with the appropriate butter/syrup. It was very limited and not wanting that, we opted to go out for breakfast which was additional money we could have spent on a more upscale hotel that offered a nice breakfast; I guess you get what you pay for.

Breakfast was simple but good enough. Several options to pick from. The AC worked great and wasn’t loud. The towels and linens were clean and we had plenty. They cleaned our room after night one and I thought that was only by request so that was a pleasant surprise. We didn’t get the Wi-Fi password and when I went to call the office, it was clear the phone hadn’t been cleaned in a LONG time. The phone didn’t work to call the front. We wished that the vending machine sold water bottles or that there was a spot to fill water bottles. Overall we stayed once before and would definitely stay again. It’s convenient to get to campus and I was told in the future that we could get a 10% discount when visiting campus. I didn’t think about asking and that sounded great!!

The property was clean but I guess I was just expecting it to be a little more upscale for the cost. Also, stating that breakfast is available is an understatement. They had bananas (mostly green), a dispenser with two types of dry cereals in it and a waffle maker; that's it. I guess there was milk for the cereal but I really didn't check. We went to a little diner next door for breakfast. Between what I paid for the hotel and for breakfast, I could have stayed at a nicer place that serves a decent breakfast. Won't be staying here again.

Ok Office breakfast area opened at 6:30 after clerk woke up on the sofa. No food offerings, terrible coffee. Left property to get breakfast. Left room key on the front counter.

Place not bad but wouldn't be good with kids no breakfast like they say
