The elevator was Not working. Other guests at the hotel that were there a week ago said the elevator was out of order then. The hotel has no rooms on the ground level. The faucet handel cane off in my hand.The shuttle driver had to check me in.mein.Tnefurniture

Not clean. Room smells because air filters are not maintained. I checked. They are full of dirty lint. Pool smelled like a swamp and had green scum. It appeared that the housekeeping was somewhat completed, but maintenance is otherwise lacking.

Well we booked here because of the indoor pool and when we arrived there was a sign that the hot tub was closed and when we checked on the pool it was ice cold. They said the heater broke.. Seriously how hard is it to call a repairman??! Excellent breakfast, very nice towels.

Room was not a suite, toilet had stains in the bowl. Drywall flaking off and left unrepaired. Carpet in hallways was atrociously dirty, just gross. Building in general needed a lot of remodeling work done. Pool and hot tub were nasty and water was cloudy and dirty unless they put so much pool chemicals in it that just entering the room burned your eyes, and that’s putting it mildly. Breakfast was terrible, no waffle mix the entire stay, rotten fruit, powdered eggs, old bread. and juice machine was heavily watered down so the juice didnt taste right at all, we wound up just eating elsewhere for breakfast every day. Definitely a sketchy area around the hotel, so lock your vehicle and don’t leave anything in the vehicle overnight. I would not recommend this place for any family vacationers. A dump that has some pictures that did not match the actual condition of the place

parking is definitely not ideal at this location. They have a parking garage which helps but it’s a very tight fit. The room was perfect. The bed was perfect. Everything was great however… They need bath mats in the shower. I fell twice. I told the lady at the front counter that we needed bath mats in the shower for safety reasons but I felt like she didn’t take me very seriously. They are about to go through some major construction. The shuttle service to and from the airport was phenomenal. They were kind and prompt.

it was fine for what it was - the kids enjoyed the 24 hr. pool. but, they couldn't keep up on laundry. we asked for clean towels 3 times and they were always in the wash :/

Unfortunately our stay here was less than desirable. Although the staff did all they could to help, the rooms all either smell of cigarette smoke or urine. They are extremely dirty and not maintained well. Hair in the shower, sticky spots all over the floor and furniture we wouldn't dare to sit on.

The staff was friendly. Our room was pretty dirty. We used the pull out couch and there was dirt and some tissues popped out from the middle of the mattress cushion. The walls had marks, it looked like something was splattered. We were only there to sleep, the location was convenient for our early flight. We chose this hotel because the reviews said it was a clean place but unfortunately it was not. The hotel definitely needs some care. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Bed bugs! DO NOT STAY HERE! Booked for Friday-Sunday for a family of 5. Woke up with bed bugs crawling around my family and younger daughters. Collected six or seven live bugs to take to front desk for proof. Took pictures and videos. Wife woke up with 28 bites around her stomach, back, feet, arms and hands. Son also had bites on his back. Went to the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do and I should make a Claim with expedia since I didnt book with them. Front desk didn't offer to change my room or refund my money. Family refused to spend another night. Front desk handed me a card for the manager I could contact. Girl at the desk said “Ive never even seen a bed bug or knew what they were” I left her the cup with the bed bugs, staff needs to be trained properly. We left and drove home Saturday Morning cutting our weekends short. Expedia had me contact hotel and after 4 days of going back and forth I was refunded. Hotel was refusing to refund because I hadn't payed for insurance. I will never stay at any La Quinta property's ever again or recommend them. Has the worse experience. Family is traumatized of staying at another hotel any time soon.

The staff is great, super friendly and nice. Zero complaints on the front desk, the maid and manager however…. the hotel is dirty and rundown. Will never stay here again. My bathroom was restocked but obviously hasn’t been cleaned in ages. The toilet had pee and toilet paper inside it with a piece of toilet paper on the seat. The back of the toilet had an inch of dust. The bathtub was disgusting and could have easily sparkled with a spray and a rag. The floor had brow crap in the corners that would’ve easily come up with a broom or vacuum. To add to the rundown, dirty feel, there was no ice machine on the 3rd floor so I took the stairs to the 2nd floor and it said, “Out of Order, use ice on 4th floor.”

I was very shocked when I saw how dirty the room was. The hallway was horribly dirty too, there is no excuse for this place to be this dirty. We will never stay there again and I hope this will help other travelers to not make the mistake of staying here. I am going to call management to let them know how uncomfortable we were for our one night stay. The refrigerator in the room did not keep our drinks cold, there was big clumps of dirt/ hair in the bathroom and the rooms don’t have carpet and when we walked on the floor our feet turned black from the filthy floor. One of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. NEVER AGAIN

When you 1st walk into your room, you'll think it's fine. Then the smell hits you (at least in my room) - like urine. Not sure if its animal or human. Multiple stains on the floor, and discover one is wet! Go to use the bathroom, and the handle to flush it is broken and you have to really mess with it to make the water stop running. While dealing with this, I noticed A LOT of yellow markings on the wall and floor surrounding the toilet. So, take your guess on what that was. I considered calling the front desk to ask for a new room, but theres no phone in the room. Chose to not talk to front dest staff in fear the room they'd move me to would be worse. None of the outlets on the lamp worked. So enjoy your 1 outlet in the entryway and in the bathroom. Pool was super cold, and the whole area was very small. Maybe 2 tables with 2 chairs each. I dont visit PDX often, but next time I will pay more and hopefully stay at a cleaner hotel. I will say, for a positive, the beds were comfortable and the front desk clerk who checked us out in the morning was very kind and friendly.

Our room was good. There were big stains on the carpet and it looked like someone had thrown coffee at the window curtains, but otherwise the room was clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. Fridge and microwave were great. Location was great near airport and we felt very safe there. Parking lot was very full for first couple weekend days we stayed but got better. Breakfast was adequate at best. Very packed in small room and no place to sit. Selection was OK. They kept running out of plates and we had to wait for clean ones daily. Orange juice was watered down and gross.

My only issue with the property was the TV and the Chanel guide. The channel guide would never synch and you never knew what channels were working and, what the content was. Good site, great staff, 9/10, will stay there next year.

Staff were very friendly with easy check in. Spacious room! Perhaps because we had 5 people, there was extra room for a fold out sofabed but even the bathroom was large. Great water pressure. Even had two TVs! Would highly recommend if visiting the Portland area!

The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. My issue was the AC unit was very noisy when it turned on. We were also on the side of the hotel that was close to a busy street so it was rather loud at night. It was only a one night stay so no time to ask for a different room.

I was assigned room 202. I didn't like being so close to the elevator. The room is kind of small too. The hotel is close to the airport which I heard the planes flying at night. The bed was okay to sleep on. If you look for a hotel close to the airport this is a good choice. I stayed there because it was closer to be near my family. The free breakfast is okay.

Customer service needs work. No coffeemaker in the room and no real effort expended to find one. It took three trips to the front desk to get a room key that worked. Finally, I had to be let in with a staff key. After finally getting let in, I was promised by the front desk attendant that “she’d be right back with a key that worked”. She went off duty and didn’t tell her replacement a thing. I finally got a key that worked, sometimes. And was afraid to leave my room for fear that I couldn’t get back in. No shuttle drivers when that were needed either. I had to take a Lyft. The Hotel did pay one way, I had to pay to get back. All in all, it was a disappointing visit.

When we arrived the staff were standing around the desk “bad mouthing” the company. After we got to our room our key did not work. I went down got new keys that didn’t work. Finally someone came, took the key, jiggled the handle and then said”oh this door doesn’t work right, you have to push the handle down instead of up.” It was 9:00 pm, we were tired and frustrated they put us in a room that they knew had a faulty door lock. Won’t go back

Was called at 4:00pm the same day we were supposed to stay there and was left a voicemail saying the room we booked was unavailable and we would have to switch rooms. When I called back to confirm, per the instructions on the voicemail, that room had also been given away and was then told they had no room for us. Was given an excuse about how they didn't update their available rooms soon enough so the third party sold more than was available. I replied, this room has been booked for several months. Why wasn't I called weeks ago? And why was I told to switch rooms prior to talking to you? Was just given the same non-answer over and over. I'm fairly certain they overbooked on purpose and then called once the rooms had actually been checked into. This is an unacceptable way to do business. I was 1500 miles from home, with a family of 6 including a special needs teen left wondering if we would have beds in a few hours. Ridiculous.

Customer service was awful. Rooms were in uncomfortable and in poor repair. Broken outleta, dirty tub. Breakfast was crowded and no food availability at 7:30am. Hot tub was room temp and the pool water looked brown and milky. Don't bother complaining the front desk said the manager Destiny will do nothing if you reach out. One desk worker said she is not nice and doesn't want to hear about it. Also twice the elevator stopped mid ride and we had to push buttons to get it going again...scary

Big Kudos to the entire staff at LaQuinta. Laniya helped me over the phone before my arrival and everyone else I met while there were just as kind and helpful! I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else on my next visit to Portland. They all left a great impression on me. Love yall!

The guy at front desk when we first checked in was rude. The next day we went somewhere and came back , he was on shift again. He did not greet us, or say anything. He had his face in his cell phone playing a game. Hi sad hi and he just totally ignored us. Just so rude

The room was great, the breakfast area was nice, and the staff were nice & helpful. The only temporary negative was that the elevator needed to be called by the desk staff for people on the upper floors to get down to the lobby. Should be fixed tomorrow. The area around the motel is fairly industrial & not very welcoming too, but we did not feel un-safe.

We felt unsafe on the property. The motel is ready for a refresh--everything seemed old and dingy. We had not felt that way at other La Quinta properties. We arrived very late, which didn't help. I wouldn't stay there again.

The breakfast room is to small and the line in the morning was long. Waiting for the waffle maker. The first morning I was there they weren't replacing any of the food. The coffee urns were empty.

Food was less than optimal. Very few choices and what was there was not good. Runny eggs, no bread for toast, 2 muffins, some interesting sausages and waffles. And the breakfast started at 0600 and I was there by 0630 so I didn’t come in late. The bed was interesting. It was comfortable but it was rounded on the edges, you rolled off it. There is no way this hotel should be rated as a 8.5, either Expedias rating system is broken or they receive kickback to market the hotel at a higher rating.

Chose this place for the free parking, 24hr airport shuttle, 4am breakfast good price and rating. Totally happy. Be aware at 4 or 5 the breakfast options were cereal and waffles with other cold items.

For rhe price, this hotel offers a decent stay. The hallways, room doors and rooms looked a little beat up with scratches, water damage and my floor smelled like pot. The breakfast was ok. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. My room was very cold and I was able to get an extra blanket. There is a nice indoor pool, and the breakfast starts at 4am which is great for those with an early flight. Ok for a short visit.
