What am amazing little gem right in the middle of the Gboro social district! They keep with the historic and vintage history of the building and decor while offering clean well appointed rooms and concierge style services. Loved the daily wine and cheese reception at 7pm in the lobby. And the hotel staff was friendly and made an effort to remember names, important details, etc. It literally felt like we were staying at a friend’s home.

Stayed one night and had a lovely stay. It was quiet, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice and clean and there’s a parking lot across the building with free parking. So there’s no additional fees. 10/10.

The Biltmore Greensboro was very convenient to the Tanger Center, which was what brought us to Greensboro. It was also a quick walk from the Civil Rights Museum, which we really enjoyed visiting. We loved the hotel's antique elevator and friendly staff. Breakfast was far beyond expectations, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were personable and gracious. The building was a fun trip to the 1930’s. The evening wine and cheese was a gentle way to meet others while enjoying wine. The included breakfast was definitely carb heavy. Some renovations are needed, such as a permanent stain in a bathroom sink that also has a crack in it. There were people talking late into the night, in the ally 3 floors below, and we could hear them - maybe they should gather elsewhere. Still, I would stay here again.

Beautiful place steeped in history! The pink room was lovely, comfortable, and perfectly cleaned. The 12-foot ceilings and large windows with plantation shutters made it feel spacious, and the bed and linens were some of the best we've seen anywhere. Gregarious and informative hosts made it a perfect stay, not to mention the delicious continental breakfast with best-ever croissants.

The staff and the lobby was quaint and friendly. Wine and cheese at check-in was a bonus. There is a closet elevator that I would not ride. The stairway up to our room was longer than typical but doable. Parking was great. It was absorbed by the hotel at a parking garage across the street. My negatives are about the room. There was shipping and bubbling paint on the outside walls. The bed was too high to get into for anyone over 40. The bedding wouldn't stay put and kept releasing from the corners of the mattress. The bathroom cabinet had rust around all the hardware and the door to the cabinet was falling off. We were in room 227. I imagine there are bedrooms so if you book with this hotel, try to avoid the room we were in. Also, water was dripping through the wall tile into the bathroom tub. Not sure why I don't think it was the haunted ghost of the hotel, I believe it was a plumbing deficiency.

Nice staff, great historical information and stories - loved ZOE! Original elevator made by Warner brothers from early 1900’s is Amazing and runs well- super cool! Breakfast good and bed comfy. Wall plaster is bubbling and coming off in room and looks like water damage.

Lead based paint peeling off walls, water stained ceilings combined with a commode that would not shut off is not a very good impression for a room that was almost $200.00 per night. There was a plaque on the exterior wall. That stated this building was the recipient of a grant for renovations. I’m not sure when that plaque was placed, but this beautiful old building deserves some major renovations to bring it back to the state of its original beauty. Constant T LC is necessary for A building of this age.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking across the street was not difficult. I appreciate that it’s a historic property, but it needs a good cleaning and a few updates, particularly in the bathroom.

The Biltmore Greensboro Hotel was a great place to spend the night when we were in town for a concert. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The decor is very nice. The staff was friendly, helpful and respectful. We loved that the front door gets locked at night and no one gets in unless they are a guest.

The hotel is extremely run down. Rooms bathrooms and hallways are living proof of that. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired for. Even after asking no milk or cream cheese. Cleaning service comes and does not clean. For get about vacuuming they don’t even collect the trash.

I was in town for a minor league baseball game and stayed at the Biltmore because it was a only a short walk to the stadium - and I like old, historic hotels more than chains. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and comfortable. There is one very small and very old elevator - or you can walk up some sorta serious stairs. Enjoyed my stay with the one notable exception that the wi-fi was completely non-existent.

This architectually interesting historic hotel in downtown Greensboro was a nice break from cookie-cutter properties. My room was well-appointed and spacious, the included breakfast was good, with a variety of options (although a whole grain bread option would have been welcome), and the staff members were cordial and helpful. My rooms (bedroom and sitting room) on the front side of the hotel, were sporadically noisy on weekend nights, and I wished I had taken earplugs.

My room as at the front of the hotel facing the street. So, I got quite a bit of noise late at night from outside. The curtains also let in a lot of light at night from the street lights. Had I stayed in another room it may have been different. Otherwise a charming hotel with very friendly staff. I’d stay again, but in a room off the Main Street.

The hotel was very nice, pretty quaint, and conveniently located. The only problem was they left the entrance locked, and unattended, so I couldn't get in. It was February, cold, and fairly late at night. The number to call after hours sent me to voicemail. I called repeatedly, banged on the door, and was left out there for about 20 minutes. Honestly, I was scared. Finally, the woman came to the door and made up some excuse, all the while reeking of marijuana.

The only reason staff got a 2 rating was due to the older lady in the evening that was always sweet but the guy that checked us in was rude both times. The bed was old and uncomfortable. The area was noisy and due to poor insulation you could hear a pen drop outside the room much less all the cars. Homeless people aloud to sit and smoke right at the door. Definitely needs better upgrades. We thought with the name Biltmore it would be nicer but we were sadly mistaken and for the price at almost $500 for 2 nights we weren’t happy!

This is an old, historic hotel located in the center of downtown, but without the traffic and noise of bigger cities. Lots of dining options nearby. Greensboro is developing its downtown into a go-to location. The Biltmore is uniquely located to tap into the local scene. This architectually interesting historic hotel in downtown Greensboro was a nice break from cookie-cutter properties. My room was well-appointed and spacious, the included breakfast was good, with a variety of options (although a whole grain bread option would have been welcome), and the staff members were cordial and helpful. My rooms (bedroom and sitting room) on the front side of the hotel, were sporadically noisy on weekend nights, and I wished I had taken earplugs.

What am amazing little gem right in the middle of the Gboro social district! They keep with the historic and vintage history of the building and decor while offering clean well appointed rooms and concierge style services. Wine each and cheese at 7p each evening, lovely continental breakfast on fine china in the mornings

Loved the daily wine and cheese reception at 7pm in the lobby. And the hotel staff was friendly and made an effort to remember names, important details, etc. It literally felt like we were staying at a friend’s home.

Funky old hotel that likely needs to be purchased by a boutique hotel firm for revitalization. The bed was very comfortable, the staff...The sweetest! Very generous continental breakfast. Quiet and walkable to excellent restaurants. I was advised by staff to try White and Wood.and Cafe Genesee. Both memorable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were personable and gracious. The building was a fun trip to the 1930’s. The evening wine and cheese was a gentle way to meet others while enjoying wine. The included breakfast was definitely carb heavy. Some renovations are needed, such as a permanent stain in a bathroom sink that also has a crack in it. There were people talking late into the night, in the ally 3 floors below, and we could hear them - maybe they should gather elsewhere. Still, I would stay here again.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I wouldn’t stay here even if they paid me the $175 a night. The ac unit sounded like a jet engine. Had to leave it off all night. The bed creaked loudly on any movement. The mattress was equivalent to laying on asphalt. Their supposed free breakfast is a handful of bagels and a waffle machine.

Historic old house, great staff. Lobby beautiful. It is convenient, within walking distance of many downtown locations. In room fridge and A/C noisy. King bed was good. Tub with shower, risky -no tub mat. Paper plates and bowls like many mid range motels for breakfast. Bakery goods average, we were there a Sunday morning. Parking nearby and on street in front if weekend. We will consider for future stays.

Being an historic property, some allowances are to be expected. Loved the continental breakfast - lots of options. Likewise the dining options in the neighborhood. Walking distance to the performing arts center. And the floor squeaked as did the bed springs.
