I booked this hotel because it had a pool. Upon arrival, the pool was out of commission. I was asked if I wanted to book a different hotel but everything else around was booked.

The room was clean newly renovated, breakfast ok but opening time a little late. The place is under renovations so none of the other amenities were open no pool no exercise room. image showed an indoor pool didn't see it , there was an outdoor pool under renovations so that wasn't open there was no out door patio to sit at. Price for the rooms were pretty high with all things shut down .I don't recommend till all their renovations are finished.

Our first trip with a dog! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Every hotel employee was kind , helpful , and loved Maggie! From the endless treats to the amazing dog park , we will definitely be back! Thank you for making our first trip ever with our dog an amazing experience because we were very nervous! Our room was amazing , beds clean , ample room! If we needed extra towels or toilet paper ( we stayed for 6 days ) there were no issues getting these items! Breakfast was also amazing which was a pleasant surprise! We come to Ohio at least twice a year , this will be our go to hotel! Thank you so much!

I reserved this property for the location, because breakfast was included and it had a pool. Upon checking in I learned that the pool was under construction and closed. I feel this is something that needs to be disclosed before check in. Other than that, our stay was wonderful!

We booked the property because of the pool. The pool is under construction, and the information about that was removed from the website before our arrival. When told about the pool not being usable when we checked in, we asked for a refund, a transfer of the reservation, or to cancel. All of those were non negotiable. I emailed back and forth with the manager for several days, she said it was not her problem to solve since I booked through Expedia there was nothing she could do about it. So, we traveled hours away for a weekend with children only to have our hotel have poor communication and zero compassion for our plans that were otherwise ruined by the weather but we thought we at least would have the hotel pool as a backup plan. Nope. No pool, and the information on the website did not meet the expectations of our booking. At least we had friends to spend our time with and made the best of it with no help from our host/manager at this hotel.

We stayed from Friday to Tuesday. During that time, housekeeping gave us fresh towels twice ,made one of the 2 beds once, and emptied the trash once. Granted, the room wasn't really messy or dirty, but they could at least do those 3 things at least every other day.

There is construction going on but it really didn't affect our stay. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was good, a lot of options available and they change items everyday so you don't have the same thing day after day.

Wonderful and friendly staff. Stayed in a 3rd floor suite. Something noisy on roof. Heater/AC works well but when it stops it makes a very odd and pretty load noise that sounds like an animal crying. Thinking it was some kind of air discharge. Odd yes, but that was the sound.

I have always stayed in the Lancaster Ohio Holiday Inn Express when I'm in town. It has always been a nice clean place. But now that they are undergoing renovations and updating everything I must bump up my rating up to excellent. The room was clean with new features, my favorite being a walk-in shower with an actual door instead of a curtain like most hotels. The bed was perfect for my taste, not to hard and not to soft. I've stayed in the "new and improved" Holiday Inn Express twice in the past two weeks and I loved it. The staff, well they must be pleased with the improvements as well because they were truly even more pleasant and professional. My only reason for 3 & 4 stars on property is because of the construction going on, but I can't wait to see it when it is completed. Thank you to all of the staff. Keep up the good work.

We ended up booking that afternoon when we had a threatening incident at the cabin we were renting. I was very shaken. But the desk clerk was very, very welcoming. She even gave us several doggie goodie bags for our pups! We felt safe and away from a bad situation. Everything was clean and well maintained.

We had trouble at check in. The front desk [grant] was very un professional/not very helpful. And At the pool, my 12 yo daughter was bothered by a drunk/unwell person, called her dumb and also called my sister a child rapist for no reason. And when we reported it to the hotel attendant [Grant]he basically told us that we are lying and we should deal with it ourselves. So strange. My family travels a lot but we will not stay here at Holiday inn and express in Lancaster. OH.

I was a little disappointed by the lady that was taking care of the continental breakfast. She was not friendly and seemed upset that I asked her to replace the pancake batter bag that was in the machine it was throwing a code regarding the bag needing to be replaced. My experience other than that it was very nice.

Great spot! The greeting at 9:30pm was wonderful! The lady at the front desk was wonderful, helpful and even offered a few fruits for the kids knowing we had been on the road all day. They offered a breakfast. They had cheese omelettes, egg white omelettes, fresh fruits, sausage, turkey sausage, pancakes etc. it was a great selection! Even fresh ground coffee. Facilities were very clean!
